Lovely, clean cottage with everything we needed.
Extra touches too.
Only slight issue was how low the settee and chair are-not easy for old legs!!

Located close to Ulverston and South Lakes Zoo. Also not too far from Windermere. We had a takeaway from Indian restaurant in Ulverston and visited Manor House for Sunday Lunch. Both highly recommended.
Our little boy loved their selection of DVDS and books.
Property was perfect size, spacious. We were a family of 3.
Kitchen well equipped.
There are a few properties at this location of varying size if travelling with bigger groups.
Could do with bath mats and instructions for oven but there was nothing we didn't like.

Good accommodation, comfortable & well equiped.
Good location, but a little way from the tourist parts of the lake district - so expect a 40 minute drive or so.
Quite a drive along single track roads to Ulverstone so getting supplies is necessary before arrival.
Dont let that put you off though, its a great place for a relaxing break.
The sofa is a little low to sit on but comfortable.
If you are not a cat person beware, you will have a friendly visitor.

Lovely clean welcoming property! The little touches made it stand out for me, the wine when we arrived, books in the children room, games for them! Beautifully maintained garden, I could go on. Overall very impressed and would love to return.
I would find it hard to find a negative to be honest - it is remote which some people might not realise, however we liked it for this reason.

Quiet cottage with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, clean, everything you might need in the kitchen (including a washing machine), recycling barn and sheep, lots of sheep.
Be aware that it is quite a drive to the main areas of the Lake District.

The cottage is situated on a farm about 4 miles from Ulverston and some of the scenery is absolutely stunning to and from the cottage.Ideal for young family or 3 adults as our group was as it is set up as a double room and two single beds in the other . There are 2 bathrooms one with bath and shower and the other downstairs with just a shower. A good size modern kitchen with all appliances you would need and a living room/diner .There is a good area outside for sitting outside unfortunately it was too wet for us but it doesn't take anything away from the cottage and the Lake District in general . In essence a lovely place to relax which is within about 20 miles or less of Coniston and Windermere.
The only negative which I'm sure is just temporary is that 2 of the heaters were not working and as it was a wet cold time in April they would certainly have been much appreciated.

We arrived later than expected and despite the fact that we hadn't informed the hosts, on our arrival the door was unlocked and the lights had been turned on for us. We were very impressed with that little unexpected touch. Also we liked the bottle of wine that had been left for us.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The place was spotlessly clean - everything we had hoped for in terms of facilities and value and overall we were really happy with our stay. Would recommend highly to families and look out for Cyril the dog who was a little star!

Quiet farm area, stunning location a 5 min drive from the centre of Ulverston. A 20 min drive from the bottom of Windermere so easy access to the Lakes. The property was spacious, good size bedrooms and lounge/dining area, importantly for me both showers were very good. Parking was right next to the property as was 2 areas of outdoor seating. On arrival we were met by Cyril the friendly Jack Russell who ensured we moved in with a smile. My daughter was pleased with the wifi (I read the paper). The kitchen was very well equipped, nothing omitted that you wouldn't have at home, even a slow cooker was present.

Lovely spot, everything was spotlessly clean and all that you needed was supplied (except the salt, but the less said about that the better). The location is remote (but we like that). Lovely property, Steve welcomed us as soon as we arrived and left us to it
Furniture in lounge very low and difficult to get out of and it would have been nice if the fridge and freezer were turned on before our stay and not the next day !
