It was such a relaxing place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday.

Such a friendly welcome and a very comfy room which had everything you could ever need.I look forward to my next visit.

Nice with the right amount of quirkiness

The room and facilities were very clean and well kept, the owner was lovely.

The only down side for me was that the property, although beautiful, was at the side of an intersection which was very busy during rush hour, but it did quieten afterwards.

Superb stay

Amazing place to stay. I loved the decor, the attention to details which made us feel so cozy and comfortable. Lovely surroundings and very good breakfast served by the super caring host. I would definitely come back!

The hotel was absolutely spotless. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for me. Breakfast was very nice. Bedroom was comfortable and has to be the cleanest room I've stayed in a long time.

I don't have any dislikes or negative comments.

Stunning Hotel! Friendly Staff. Definitely Recommend

The hotel was stunning. Beautifully decorated and maintained. So much character and Carol was amazing. so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Overall beautiful and would definitely stay again.

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, with useful shower cap. The breakfast was quickly served and tasty, with plenty of choice. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We had to find food in the evening away from the hotel.

If we are in the area again, we would stay here, a very nice place.

The owner was professional in her dealings, but also had a friendly manner. The dining area is very pleasant; the bedroom and bathroom, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great I don’t like to eat too much so I had a small breakfast, my husband had the full English and it kept him going until our evening meal. Breakfast was hot and good quality.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like. It was fine. A lovely looking old building. Oh the bed room was hotter than we like at home. My husband has eczema and the washing conditioner (we think) on the sheets set it off. But we were only there one night and really can’t complain.

said it was licensed but it wasn’t open so we had to walk 15 minutes walk to a pub on a dark path

Perfect for the occasion we needed it for, location & price

Breakfast & comfy bed

Had to keep the windows shut even when it was very warm, as to offset the traffic noise, due to location was right next to a continually busy road throughout the night.

Breakfast was very nice. Room facilities a little small and restricted (shower and toilet located in a cupboard)

the hotel provided a good clean base for our stay.

The hotel is ideally situated for our purpose,it is clean and well arranged and set out. The rooms are lovely and clean,fresh and a nice temperature and breakfast very good with good choice of starter and food.

Just a thought for the dining room for breakfast that my Wife suggested maybe it should have for example four double tables as everyone that was staying were couples so they can sit together on a double table and not a four seater as one couple waited until another had fnished. Also the toilet in number 6 is faulty and it seemed it was known about but it was still not fixed for our arrival.
