Excellent.
TV didn't work, even after calling maintenance. Two remotes make it confusing.

Mayfez is a real gem of a place. We stayed for my partner’s 40th birthday and couldn’t have dreamed of anything more. Stunning rooms, peaceful courtyard, wonderful spa, and excellent food.
The real stars are the staff though, especially Houda, Mohammed, Nadia, and our guide Abdul; they all went out of their way to make us feel like we were at home, and were always on hand to help with anything we needed. We can’t thank them enough for making it a truly special and memorable experience.

Most things, in particular staff
Sometimes hard to find staff at hotel (individuals are excellent, maybe need 1-2 more because they are stretched?)
Some of the decor/furniture/colour combinations in the rooms (matter of personal taste)

Exceptional hotel, everything about this Riad was extremely well done. The decor is amazing. The staff are wonderful, the breakfast was perfect and the facility itself is a true oasis.
Could not think of a thing.

The best living experience during my twenty days in Morocco, every facility works well and the owner decorated the entire building with art-ware from every corner of the world, the breakfast is so satisfying with fresh juice and they change the menu every single day. They also provide the amazing Moroccan Hammam, it’s a must try experience and I fell asleep in ten minutes directly after doing the Hammam. The staff was so nice, Huda and Majeda like my sisters.

The place is very beautiful every corner is decorated with rich Marrocan style and features . Food was great but the staff especially Muhammed was amazing . He even walked us to the restaurant close by so we won't alone at night when we arrived . I've been to many hotels This by far was one of the best customer service I've ever received

There were no negatives.

We loved everything. From the beautiful room to the clean common areas to the delicious food to the picturesque views that we received from our free upgraded room courtesy of Dominique the owner. The best part though by far was the amazing kind wonderful staff at the riad. Everybody was lovely but we spent the most time with Mohammed and he was so lovely and made us feel so at home. When we had arranged a walking tour with a meeting spot a few minutes down the road, he refused to let us walk alone and accompanied us to ensure we didn’t get lost. It was so kind of him and greatly appreciated in the confusing Medina streets. Overall this was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. We felt so at home and comfortable and happy with every bit of the riad and our experience.
We loved everything.

We fell in love with this Riad. Nomad chic but with the owners French touch... she has exquisite taste. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful, they gave 5 star service and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. My husband and I both enjoyed having a hamaam experience on site and my skin has never felt softer.
On arrival we had a lovely dinner, food was excellent kudos to the chef.
Houda arranged a Medina tour with Abdul for us and he was exceptional. Fes truly is a unique experience but one has to go with a open mind.
Everything was wonderful.

Very welcoming and professional workers. Architecture, design and decoration are amazing. Super clean and tidy, more than I imagined. From the hustle of the medina to the most relaxing setting of the riad. Spa and hamam were great. Fun billiard table to play on your free time.
Breakfast was very good but a main dish like an omelet was missing. High protein dish is essential to a meal.

gorgeous boutique property…. only book here if you want a nice personalized experience. the team of people here are some of the nicest you will find. They made our stay so memorable.
The location is so convenient to everything in the Medina.
we liked everything…. especially the quiet.

The spa treatment was amazing, the staff were very helpful and the food was great. Honestly a 10 out of 10 experience.
This place was fantastic. Straight up one of the best hotels my wife and I have ever stayed at. In terms of what we didn't like, it was more to do with the general hassling we received on the streets of Fez rather than the hotel. Every day we would have at least six people approach us with "where are you from?" "Where are you staying?" "I'm an official guide to the city, I charge less than everyone" and these people often would not respond to us politely trying to avoid and then end the interaction. One guy we had tried to avoid the day before waited outside our hotel and immediately started a 5 minute speech about how we need a guide as soon as we walked out. Our best day was when we took the hotel guide Abdul (who was more expensive, but a much better listener)

Very beautiful place in the heart of the old Medina. You'd never expect such a large, open space full of greenery in the middle of the densely packed old medina. The staff was wonderful and was very attentive to anything we needed.
Higher-quality pillows and bedding would be much appreciated. We had the feeling that we were sleeping on rather cheap pillows. But otherwise everything was great

The interior property of Riad Mayfez is absolutely amazing! Truly old charm. There are only six suites. The rooms are beautiful. Really stunning! The staff is amazing, top notch. They were there for my every request. Celebrated wife's 50th birthday. They went above and beyond to make it truly special for her. Brought her to tears. Dining room on property. We had trouble ordering food one night. Staff came together to prepare a last second meal. Staff was very accommodating to our every needs.
There were only a few things that I did not like. 1st was the location within the Medina. The Riad is a little deep in the Medina and it's really easy to get lost. Secondly, a lot of pigeons were around the property. The pigeons would fly down to the pool to drink. Not sure what the property can do about it. It was one of the reasons we did not get in the pool. Lastly, bees, there were also bees flying around the pool and drinking from the pool. Again, not sure what the community could do, but if there is something it would make the pool experience that much more enjoyable.

Great location, wonderful staff---Intissar, Mohammed, Otman were friendly and welcoming. I wished I had time to use the spa. A huge thank you to the chef---who accommodated a severe egg, nut-peanut allergy. The food was delicious. Ahead of our arrival both Indissar and Dominique were aware of the allergies and made it all easy for us. I was worried about going to Morocco w a nut allergy given the prevalence of almonds---if you stay at Mayfez---you can safely go and enjoy it! Gorgeous views! I will gladly come back and stay at Mayfez.
The cleaning lady forgot to re supply the coffee and tea but it was not a big deal.

Its amazing what an amazing property hides behind those closed doors. Great facility and amazing staff. Very helpful and extremely professional! Thanks for hosting us
