The staff were very helpful at check-in and throughout. The pool was perfect natural salt water and slightly heated. Nice and quiet , a good place to relax in the city. I would recommend this a good place to bring the kids,

The carpet could do with a clean , but overall wasn't too bad.

Unit was clean and tidy, reasonable price, friendly staff, beds just not great.

Location was good for the areas we wanted to visit. Good selection of eating places close by. Room was reasonably clean and managers were very friendly. Low cost accommodation so don't go there expecting 5 star.

Some of the very old mattresses are very uncomfortable. Updating the mattresses would make a huge difference.

Highly Recommended!

Welcoming and friendly owners. Perfect space for a family of 5 to cook, shower, play cards, do washing, and relax in a nice, quiet and private establishment. 5min walk to a bustling pub, 4 square, fish n chip shop, Korean chicken shop, Burger Wisconsin and other eateries. Kids would of enjoyed the pool if we had arrived earlier and stayed longer. Will definitely be back! Thank you for having us.

An unpleasant stay for a hefty 145 NZD.

Easy to find.

The room was dirty with cobwebs, spiders dust, mold in the bathroom, paint peeling off the ceiling, tape on louvre window to stop draught. The heater wasn't working. Staff was unfriendly was looked surprised when the faulty heater was mentioned . Room was cold at night. Maintenance is a serious issue for the price paid.

The website pictures were totally misleading, to call it a Motor Lodge is an absolute lie, in actual fact it is a Motor Camp. No doors on toilet or bedroom,plywood patch on floor in bathroom,draughty permanent timber louvre vents on shower and toilet. Our unit was an old Motor Camp Chalet.

The location was great. Handy to shops and buses. I enjoyed the natural aspect. Many trees and birds.

The double bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The single bed was very good. The shower was hard to use and the shower caddy was cracked.

Well equiped unit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. Well priced.

Cobwebs and spiders. Clearly been there for some time. Would be nice to have more pillows. Bathroom light wasn’t working but they quickly remedied that. Shower pressure was awful, just a dribble.

Very uncomfortable beds & the neighbors house had a loud party on their veranda so it was incredibly noisy & with the hard beds was an unpleasant stay.

was filthy.. room was fill of dust, cobwebs and spiders, smelt musty and shutter didn’t drain. haven’t stored sneezing since we left .. arrived 12.15am and were up and away by 8am it was that bad.. literally used it as a bed and that was it
