Lovely and very peaceful.

The fact that the geyser was off and no warning was given. Now we had to wait for water to be warm for us to bath, and we did not have enough time to wait, check out time (11:00 am) was fast approaching. The broom is very old

Pleasant stay

Ease of getting to property and the time we could spend as family in entire house not sharing with anyone.

Specifically requested DSTV channel 201 for Rugby SA vs NZ and was confirmed that there was DSTV only to find the package does not include Sport and had to watch rugby in you tube with a black block on it, so place is awesome just don't expect to watch sport over weekend.

Such a poorly built place, doors have huge gaps to the outside, tiles and growing chipped and so poorly laid, cupboard doors were chipped and hit into the bedroom doors, can hardly move in the small bedrooms, linen had stains and was torn, shower doors in both bathrooms didn’t close properly so water went everywhere, rubble in the back garden, beds were worn and sagging, furniture was old and sub standard, awful furnishings and decor, iron was so dirty it couldn’t be used, ironing board was beyond shocking, no towel rails, no counters in the bathrooms, freezing cold, curtains that were so shoddy they didn’t close properly. Just a thoroughly awful stay - for the same price you could stay in Cape Town in great accommodation for the same price.

I enjoyed the security and the space. If the house could be maintained, I would certainly recommend.

Lack of transparency regarding the facilities. Few but critical things (e.g., kettle, fridge, AC) were not either partially working or not working at all and no one informed us of that. In addition, I received no joy when trying to get assistance in this regard, particularly the AC and decided not to report the rest.

access from the gate is a tedious exercise. only the driver must be asked for proof of ID at the gate especially because all ID documents were sent in advance.

Perfect getaway. Beautiful home and great host!

Good location but bad customer service. Will not return nor recommend.

Good location - good atmosphere within the estate. Overall layout of the house was good. Clean white bed linen and blankets were provided. Rechargeable lights were provided.

WiFi was only connected on the second day after complaining. The gas tank for the heater was empty and a filled one was not supplied. We ended up having to make a fire in the braai stand outside for warmth for our entire stay. The host requested that we go and buy a tank (for future refunding) which was not acceptable at all. Unprofessional and rude interaction by the owner when she was called on Saturday afternoon to follow up on our queries. General cleaning needs to be improved. Dust on surfaces, cob webs, water marks on glasses and cutlery.

Comfortable

The space, cleanliness and host were accommodating. Great and secure estate with lovely facilities.

TV and Wi Fi not working. Very little support to get this resolved. No resolution until we left at 11 am the next day.

May I kindly know if this was,an ethical or non ethical behaviour.On arrival we discovered that there was a pack of white star mealie meal, sealed bottles of whisky champagne and juice.I called Fifi to find out if we can purchase and drink them.She sounded surprised and not knowing about the bottles.She requested me to take a picture and forward it to her.After seeing the pictures, she then the following morning personally came to fetch them,as she after seeing the pictures, ordered me to keep them for Her. My impression is that these were leftovers from the previous day residents.Did she have the authority to take them?

Great Location. House needs attention. Host was great at sending the access codes.

Upon arrival the cleaner was still busy so the house was open and keys was there. Upon departure the cleaner arrived at 9am so we left the house open with the cleaner. Great location for our needs.

The pictures on the advert are outdated and attention in the house is required. Exterior of the houses needs painting. Cockroaches was found in the kitchen, bathroom downstairs and in the main room upstairs. Both showers did not work, they spray everywhere other than down. House needs a deep clean (curtains was very dusty). Cobwebs on the top of the curtain rails behind the front door. No washing machine. When there was power cuts, we had no idea how to open the garage manually.

The location of the property within the estate quite good with beautiful views of other properties all round

The beds were making a squeaky noise and were on the brink of breaking. the garage full of spider webs and untidy. The window of the main bedroom is next to the roof of the veranda below and that roof is made of corrugated iron and it was very loud when it was raining, found it difficult to sleep due to the noise of the rain from the roof by the window of the main bedroom. the roof should have been made a balcony with concrete slab !

House was decent, and amenities were provided.

House was not clean, we had to clean and wipe surfaces. One bedroom had small blood stains on the sheets. No dish washer available, braai stand was left from previous time, we ended up having to clean the entire thing including braai tongs. Main bedroom aircon not working.
