Wonderful host, great area, will definitely come to this venue again.

The view is spectacular, we went to the venue on a full moon and watching the moon rise was just breathtaking.

The bed in the main room was comfortable, but could be upgraded to a more comfortable bed.

Tranquility and beauty

The accommodation with its breathtaking views and exquisite architecture was absolutely stunning. Frans was truly amazing with everything, always helpful and friendly. I stayed for three nights and it was superb. Such a unique place to be in. I would recommend to anyone. My time there was most enjoyable and relaxing. Happy in Harties.

Location, safety, huge room, view of the dam and it has everything you may need for a self catering. Frans is super welcoming and goes the extra mile.

NOT THE BEST OPTION

Likes: View was beautiful Plenty of towels and toilet paper.

Dislikes: Very steep driveway. Will be problematic with a small car Dark colour towels, white towels would be much better. Thin Quilt, plush white duvet would have been much better. No aircons, was very hot during our stay. Owner stays on the property. Was not in our way. Could be more professional though. Asked for payment earlier than stipulated on the booking.

A place to relax & distress.

Hi there. Thatch view was an excellent choice to stay at in Hartbeespoort. Frans the host was so accommodating & friendly & ever so pleasent. He even allowed me to use his private parking. His assistant was also so friendly & helpful. The views was exceptional.

The view is fantastic and it is close to anything you want in Harties. France is super friendly and attentive. I almost don't want to give a great review because it will make it harder to get a booking! That said, 100% 👍!

In general the place was fine. Good view and quiet. Safe parking at night. Well appointed with everything you need.

The toilet seat needs replacement and the toilet did not fill automatically 50% of the time. We had to open the lid and release the the cut-off valve manually.

The house is spacious. There is everything you need to feel at home from cutlery to blankets. The fireplace. The views from the place are to die for. It's closer to everything you need. The owner and the assistant makes you feel welcomed.

I would not hesitate to stay at Thatch View again

The host went out of his way to ensure that my stay was top class. Frans paid great attention to detail. (IE: Ensuring that the parking bay in front of my unit remained clear so as to not obstruct my view of the dam) He contacted me after the first night to find out if there were any complaints whatsoever. (I had no complaints.) The unit that i stayed in was clean and comfortable. I can certainly recommend Thatch View to travellers and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Farie was so friendly and pleasant, the unit was clean. I loved the location as I could look out over the dam during the day and the lights at night. It is also close to all the attractions. I will definitely recommend and go back

The apartment was very Cosy and comty. The view was good. The steep driveway was a bit of a challenge but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Frans is the best host, very friendly and caring took care of all our needs. Real gem of a person.

I loved everything from staff ,accommodation,appliances and the electric blanket was a nice touch. The fact that the owner wasn't around and he checked if was ok every morning made me feel safe . I would definitely recommend that place to everyone 😊
