About this cabin rental

The cabin is very private, with a wooded driveway. Beautiful lake cabin with nice wide dock, perfect for lounging or launching. There are 2 kayaks available for you to use as well as 1 canoe (NOT a lake to swim or fish in). The property is located right on the Paul Bunyan Trail, so it is great for biking, walking, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. It offers beautiful views and wildlife is abundant. We have deer, swans, geese, turtles, eagles and much more! The yard is level and large enough to play games. At night, come sit with your friends and family around the camp fire, listen to the loons and gaze up at the stars!

This cabin was perfect for the two families that stayed here this weekend. The cabin was very clean and just as described in the listing. Such a private space, big yard to play games in, great fire pit and dock to the water. Communication with the host was always very helpful and timely- she was great to deal with! We would definitely consider returning!

We loved this place because it is quiet, rural, and secluded, yet not far from town. The toughest part about this review is where to begin because there were so many amazing aspects of this property. Believe it or not, the driveway was an experience on its own. Just as you think the driveway couldn't look any more rural or wooded, you make another left turn and you are literally driving through a tree tunnel. Just amazing. Step out into the backyard and there is an environmental lake (a marsh) which is absolutely stunning. We took a walk in the woods to a state trail and it felt like we were walking through an aspen wonderland. I highly recommend this property for anybody who values solitude, privacy, and a high-quality living experience. The actual cabin is new and beautiful in every way. Highly, highly, highly recommend this location. To the property owners, you guys were wonderful. I hope you found Sonia's kittens, please say hi to mama kitty for me as we miss her!

Was an amazing cabin in the woods. Very quiet and secluded. We loved every minute of including the outdoor space. Which we used the fire pit and ladder golf. Will definitely book it again when in the area

We had two awesome days in this beautiful cabin. We plan on returning again next summer. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitty cats that visited with us. We all love kitties. Thanks for a great experience.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the cabin! Everything was perfect, clean, had all we needed and it was such a peaceful place. Keri was such a wonderful host, made sure we were all set and sent us things to do in the area. Our boys have asked to go back again next year! Just can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was!

Wanted a place for our group to stay after Playing at BiR raceway. It was a peaceful place to unwind and make an awesome Bbq dinners. All you need is close by. This is a great place to stay. I plan on staying there again this winter for a snowmobile trip. Trail are close by.

The cabin was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The setting is charming - large green lawn tucked away in the woods. We enjoyed the short walk through the woods to the Paul Bunyan Trail. There are even cows very close (although they were so quiet - I tried hard to make them moo!) . The cabin is on a marsh with lily pads and grasses. There is lots to do close by in Nisswa and fun restaurants.

We had four adults and four kids stay at the cabin. Everyone was able to sleep comfortably and we enjoyed being tucked in the trees. The cabin has several games to choose from to play and a great backyard space.

This was a really nice spot for our girl's weekend out of the cities! Lots of space and great views. Had a little bit of an issue with the dirt roads getting there, but it all worked out. Would definitely consider staying here again!

This is the second time we've utilized this cottage for a long weekend stay. Both times have been an excellent experience. The cottage is clean and spacious; the second visit we had 8 adults utilizing the space. Everyone was very comfortable with the space and setting. We will continue to keep this property as a top priority to utilize when we are in the Brainerd area.

We were in the area for a retreat/conference and this was such a wonderful place to stay. It’s so cozy and quaint! The kitchen was stocked with anything we could have needed and everything was comfortable and clean. We only wish we could have stayed in the area longer!

The Cabin was the PERFECT place for our get together with friends! It was the perfect distance from many restaurants/towns, it was very clean, well stocked with kitchen items, and private. The host was very responsive and kind! The check out process was very simple. All of us who stayed over the weekend were locals, but this location will be highly recommended to visiting friends/family and used again! Thank you for a great place to relax!

Our time at this cabin was memorable and excellent! It was as listed- beautiful, clean and very comfortable! Everything we needed for our short visit minus food/beverage was available to us. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Will have to plan some time there during the summer to take advantage of the PB trail and lake.

We booked last minute for a wedding and it's one of the best places we have stayed. Quiet very clean and spacious. Had a little while coming in but the property manager answered their phone right away and got us to the property without issue. This place was absolutely amazing!!! We went up there for guys golf weekend and everyone loved this place. It has all the essentials you’ll need. Being in the middle of the woods listening to all the wildlife is just so relaxing. We will definitely be staying here every time we do guys weekend.
