Great place for extended family get together. Ton of stuff to do in the water (4 stand up paddle boards!), paddleboat, kayaks, etc., all in great condition. Place is very nice. Property manager Brad was very helpful.

Beautiful property, ample sleeping space, all the amenities. We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the lake was, well worth the trip to enjoy the quiet stay. Paddle boards, canoes, lake toys were all a hit with our group, we will stay again!

We loved everything about this property. So much to do! Even on a rainy afternoon/evening, we found games and lots of comfortable corners to read. The water toys, docks, boats, hammocks and fire pit were all used and enjoyed. The cabin was well kept and extraordinarily clean. The property manager and owner were both easy to work with and responded quickly. Would highly recommend the property.

On our second visit to the cabin our group of 60 year olds, 30 year olds, and a couple of kids under 4 had a great time. Opting in for the pontoon is a must. Fishing (mostly large mouth and pan fish) was quite good. Some of our group mountain biked and most of us played pickleball in Crosby.
The kitchen is great. We at most of our meals there.
It's a family favorite and quickly becoming a tradition.

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend in January and it was the best winter getaway! Spacious rooms for all 4 families (8 adults and one infant). Wonderful gathering spaces to play games and watch movies all together. Also the perfect 4-season porch for anyone from the group to sneak away for a nap or quiet reading. We also really enjoyed the games in the garage such as jenga and bags. Being just minutes from Crosby is awesome as well for an afternoon out. We hope to be back again sometime soon!

We stayed at the cabin between Christmas and New Years Day. There were seven of us and the cabin was more than spacious enough for us to spread out. The cabin is extremely clean and well stocked, and the property manager was excellent as well. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

We just got back from an amazing weekend at this home, 11 ladies!
Pros:
* Property Manager was so great to work with, responsive
* This home has everything you could possibly need for a stay, everything
* Extremely clean and well taken care of
* We loved that is was off the beaten path, but very short ride to all of our area favorites
Opportunities - really just one
* the furnace was broken, luckily it wasn’t an extremely cold weekend, and grateful for two great fireplaces. Fist morning we woke to 51 degrees, and communicated the issue. After coming out to check on the furnace around lunchtime, it was shared there wouldn’t be a possible remedy, and they would work on making it right, please use fireplaces. We were able to keep it warm with both fireplaces, however with 120 min timers, that meant taking turns turning them back on throughout the night. Not a huge deal, still an amazing time. However when I reached out while checking around 8-9am, it was shared that the owner would have to contact us. As of 5pm, we are still unable to split the bill, waiting to hear if/what a refund or consideration looks like. A bit frustrating.
We understand things happen, and things break, and are super happy to solve with fireplaces. But if you’re sharing that it would be made right, please be sure to d follow up.
Thank you for an amazing weekend, your home was perfect!

Relaxing beautiful property and space. 6 of us enjoyed the kitchen space, living rooms, etc. There was something for everyone whether we wanted to chill alone with a book in a quiet space, go kayak, go paddle boat, have a fire, walk, run, go into town, watch TV, hang and play games or eat together. This was our second stay and very satisfied with it.

Beautiful lake home with plenty of water activities and games (corn hole/lawn Jenga/ping pong). Close to ATV trails (must trailer wheelers). Home was immaculate with every amenity available. Would definitely come back! Great communication with host and representative. Easy check in/check out process.

The house and property were stunning. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. There were tons of blankets and pillows everywhere. Endless amount of books , games & activities especially for the children when you’re not out on the lake. We were so busy with the paddle boat & canoe that we didn’t feel the need to rent a boat. Fishing was great. Caught walleye, bass & crappie. But my favorite was relaxing on the deck. Amazing.

This is an absolute gem of a property, and it’s a truly spectacular house. My group had such an incredible stay. Everything was made so easy for us, and the amenities offered by the host truly made this an unforgettable weekend. We will absolutely look to return next summer

This owner and manager really take great care of the property and pay attention to small details that really are helpful. Great array of extra appliances in the kitchen— griddle, slow cooker, blender, waffle maker, drip and keurig coffee, (with pods). Spices, salt, pepper, and olive oil. It was great
for all the cooking we did, and bathrooms had adequate towels soap and even make-up wipes if one had forgotten them. They even left us supplies for s’mores and making waffles.
We hope to return soon!

We stayed here for a long weekend with my family. Ages ranged from 14-75. A beautiful home with lots to do. Very quiet and peaceful lake and you can get on the Cuyuna bike trail from the house which we loved. Owner was very responsive and welcoming.

This property has it all. Lots of room, beautiful views, great lake, quiet woodsiness w/out having to go far for golf or groceries, and lots of water toys for all ages. Small lake is deep, clear and quiet. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. Everyone - the children, parents and grandparents - enjoyed all this location had to offer and the Crosby proximity, too. We hope to return next season.

What a great place. Wish there were more stars! We all agreed it was the best, most relaxing vacation ever. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. Brad was the most accommodating host we have ever had. We hope to be back again.

We just returned from a lovely 6 day stay, our first time to the area. The home is even nicer in person, filled with thoughtful touches of everything we needed and more. We enjoyed all of the water toys, fire pit, ping pong, spike ball - there is so much to do no matter the weather. We also rented a pontoon from the neighbor which worked out well. The lake is not huge but the fish were biting and it is very calm and safe. Brad was easy to communicate with and a helpful neighbor met us at check in to give us a tour. We would definitely stay here again!

We had two families of four stay at the home and could not have been happier with our choice. Had everything we needed and more. The lake is small, but quiet and peaceful. Had a lot of fun on the kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very conveniently located to grocery store. The bike trails and mining lakes nearby were incredible. Could easily bike to them from the home. The area exceeded all of my expectations. Would definitely go back. Thanks for having us!

The house is lovely. Very comfortable living areas, great to spread out. Well stocked kitchen, in terms of pots, pans, utensils and cups. Best equipped rental house that we have stayed. Clean and comfortable beds (except the smallest bed in 3 bedroom), plenty of towels.
Dock house and lake equipment is plentiful. Seven of us ages 49 to 9, always had something to keep us occupied. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat, it took us to see the eagles nest and beaver dams. The lake was quiet and peaceful, chilly in June but well worth it.
Be aware that most restaurants and shops close at 8 pm, close grocery. We traveled to Crosby, Brainerd and Nisswa for the turtle races. Great shops, restaurants, and areas of interest.

The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. We especially enjoyed all the outdoors equipment -- having easy access to the kayaks, canoes, paddle boat is just terrific. We had a lot of fun on the lake and at the fire pit. We also enjoyed the very comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Brad was gracious and helpful. The biking trails nearby are gorgeous. Really -- the best Minnesota vacation imaginable. We would love to return to this cabin!

This was our third stay and it’s always perfect! From the location, setting, home and private resort feel we were made to feel welcome from the beginning! We were even connected to a great contact who arranged a pontoon to rent and it was the second year we rented from them. It adds that extra touch to a great trip. Fishing is great, the setting is relaxing and the owners have thought of everything! If you want to ATV there are great trails close by. I can’t say enough great things about this house. We are already looking forward to next year. Thank you !!!

It was great for our group who wanted a low key, cozy weekend away. The house is spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed. We loved the fireplaces and comfy beds. The proximity to Crosby and Ironton was great. Just a short drive to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. There’s also a paved trail nearby that’s great for running, walking, or biking.

We had a wonderful stay with our family and two little grandchildren. There is plenty to do from outdoor games to fishing on the lake. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful time and will definitely try to come back again. Thank you for the ease of arrival and helping us get a pontoon for the stay! Made some great memories for sure!

Our family really enjoyed the property and its amenities. The location was perfect. The property managers were very helpful before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

There were some things that easily could have been fixed. The paddle boat did not work. The chain fell off the 2nd day. There were no batteries in the TV remote so no cable upstairs and no remote to be found for the DVD player so we could not use that.

Fantastic Lake House
This house is exactly as described and as shown in pictures. Everything was clean and in very good repair. We had 6 adults, 2 seniors and 3 teens and we all enjoyed ourselves. We rented a pontoon for the week and practically lived on it. We made good use of the lily pad, kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat as well. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances you could want. The lake was quiet and not crowded. It was convenient to have a nice grocery store 5 minutes away. Easy drive into Crosby and the bike trails. The hill up from the lake is steep, but we were all able to manage it and were glad it wasn’t a big tall staircase like other houses nearby have. We would highly recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay again!

Making family memories
Me and my extended family totaled 10 people ranging in age from 9 to 69 and the cabin worked great for us. It was so comfortable and spacious with fantastic amenities. We made full use of the peddle boat, kayaks and canoe. And the swimming was excellent and we loved the lily pad and floating dock. Little fish entertained us by nibbling our feet. The variety of seating by the lakeshore was excellent for relaxing and watching loons on a quiet lake. Bugs were non-existent except at twighlight. The kitchen was nicely laid out which made meal times enjoyable. Overall, this was a fabulous experience.
