Kakerlaken im Bett waren unser Highlight

Die Aussicht

Die Unterkunft ist leider bei Übergabe sehr dreckig gewesen. Wir vermuten, dass lediglich die Betten frisch bezogen wurden. Die Wohnung ist inzwischen in einem stark heruntergekommenen Zustand. Möbel und elektronische Geräte sind stark beschädigt bzw. nicht mehr funktionstüchtig. Ärgerlich ist, dass uns vor Ort eine Kaution in Höhe von 1000 Rand auferlegt wurde für eine Wohnung mit erheblichen Schäden. Zusätzlich zur Miete und zur Reinigungsgebühr (für die nicht gereinigte Wohnung). Nach der Abbuchung erwähnte der zuständige Mitarbeiter vor Ort, dass sie prinzipiell Probleme hätten bei Kunden aus dem Ausland die Kaution zurück zu zahlen. Ich bin gespannt. Bisher habe ich keine Rückzahlung erhalten. Die Lage der Wohnung ist in der ersten Reihe. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Der Strandabschnitt von Strand ist jedoch nicht so schön. Das andere Ende des Ortes ist wesentlich schöner. Unser absolutes Highlight in der Wohnung war als wir Kakerlaken im Bett der Kinder entdeckt haben. Die Hausverwaltung hat zwar über booking angeboten, dass sie sich bei uns melden und den unangenehmen Aufenthalt klären- und sich dann doch niemals gemeldet.

Great views, very comfortable stay and convenient location.

Awesome view, great kitchen. Very pleased to have a laundry. The master bathroom was really luxurious. Friendly staff and straightforward check in.

The tumble dryer didn't really work. Slightly questionable artwork on the wall.

Awesome apartment, great that each room has it's own en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen / living essentials. Amazing view and comfortable parking garage to access.

The apartment definitely needs some maintenance work, awesome place and great facilities, but there are some work and upgrades needed. Carpets needs to be replaced, cracks in the walls etc.

Still await the R1000 breakage deposito. 2nd bathroom has the smallest basin can barely was your hands. Carpets are dirty No effort to assist during loadshedding with backup power source. Tv has no workable remote. Clear that the owner wants the most for his investment.

The friendly, pleasant staff. The cleanliness of the building and the apartment (except the carpet in the main bedroom which has marks on it and smells a bit. I liked the modern clean lines of the apartment and the building. A spacious apartment, well decorated.

That the apartment is on the 9th floor was not indicated in the advertised features; it's too high up for me. I indicated that I looked for an apartment with a balcony. This apartment's balcony is narrower than a sidewalk. I never once stepped onto the balcony; it felt unsafe. The towels and garbage bags were not supplied until the second day of my stay when I had to call to ask for them to be brought. I've stayed at better accommodation, with lower rates than the R2400 a night you charged me.

Brilliant location, and a fantastic view over False Bay

We had a great stay. The reception was friendly and helpful, and they even checked the electricity was topped up during our stay. The hosts were professional, and the apartment was clean and neat when we arrived. The location is great, with easy access to the beach, and to get out of Strand to go to the airport, etc., was easy. We had an undercover parking, and they even provided us with a dishwashing tablet for the dishwasher machine in the apartment. Our breakage deposit was returned the same day when we checked out - great service!

The service from Amanda at Loddeys was great. The venues was great and save.

I believe the venue need an upgrade. The seating infront od the TV was uncomfortable. The seating on the balcony was dirty and need urgent attention. I share my views with Amanda and would like to use the venue again in future. I am also of the opinion that booking.com mislead me with pictures of a venue. The apartment we ocuupied was not the same as on the pictures. This influence my choice of venues.

Disappointing

The view is stunning. The bed is comfortable.

The light in shower does not work. Lights in bedroom and bathroom switch off within seconds of switching them on. The place is not very clean, marks on the wall, carpet and scatter pillows dirty. The chair in bedroom is broken. We were booked for two evenings but left after one evening because of the the state of the apartment we stayed in, we were expecting way better. The price is way to high for what you get. The shower gel liquid soap containers weren't even refilled. The place looks very run down, and is in need of a serious upgrade. With such a beautiful view, alot can be done to make this place a better stay and value for money.

Very nice scenery, flat was excellent bed was comfortable, kitchen was beautiful, bathroom was out of this world, so big and 5 star accommodation, will stay their again
