Great location

The location was great - vinyards, views, garden all lovely. The fireplace stove was very warm and looked beautiful. There was lots of space in the social areas. The host was very helpful when we arrived.

Maintenance of the building was lacking - front door stuck in the frame, bedroom door that wouldn't slide easily on its runners, cultery drawer that fell out of its housing

We arrived late in the day and found the wood fire already lit and the house warm. Beautiful touch.

Location and size of property.

We arrived at 8:30pm. It was cold and dark so it would have been nice if some lights and the heating was turned on for us. Not enough fire wood supplied to use the fireplace.

Overall it was a nice stay. Loved the outdoor setup.

The surroundings and the all the amenities provided were very good.

The furnitures and property overall is very old and so needs to be maintained properly.

Great. Lots of games for evening entertainment for adults and children.

Beautiful size, ie roomy facilities, comfy and clean furnishings. Perfect for 6 adults and 4 children. Great location.

Gap in bathroom window, let in hundreds of bugs. Before hoovering them up, cordless hoover required emptying and to be put on charge.

Nice little house in the Hills, peaceful and quite. Good size rooms and beds and perfect for a large group of people. Not far from town and reasonably priced for a small group and very cheap for a large group. Highly recommend for a group of 7 or more people

I think there were small items missing like bedside tables in all the bedrooms but other than that the accomodation was comfortable.

it was disappointing and we felt the description provided was misleading

the property needed maintenance with taps coming off in the kitchen, broken flyscreens, blinds falling off and more problems. Also the windows in the bedrooms were very dirty and there were birds in a wall cavity scratching which was quite noisy and unpleasant.

Wonderfully relaxing stay in country comfort

Spacious and comfortable. Well appointed, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and once more every appliance was in good working order. Generous supply of cleaning agents. Comfortable beds. Lovely selection of games and books to sort through on rainy days. Cosy effective heating. Altogether fabulous location/lookout in green paddocks and vineyards. Thank you!

Our family had a lovely get together!

Warm and welcoming. Large enough for a big family get together. Great hosts. Beautiful setting. The pigs in the nearby yards were just adorable!

Great home but one bathroom had a problem with a blockage in the sink - also 2 of the bikes were out of action which meant we could not ride as a group otherwise a great stay

Stunning location. Fabulous wines. Kids loved being able to wander and visit the pigs. Fire pit was a big winner. Beds comfy. Heating great - ducted/free standing gas/wood fire so you were covered! great kitchen ad lots of space to relax.

brilliant 3 generation holiday house

Lots of room for everyone, plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses and kitchen ware, heaps of linens, loved the books and games for all ages, fantastic location.

low internet connection, but for a multi generation family holiday that was a blessing 🙃

The whole Family enjoyed the stay, and would highly recommend it.

Perfect, spacious, pleasant, cosy and comfortable cottage accommodation for the family with three children, and the Grandmother. Loved the Vinery, Pizzas and the Cheese platter. Very convenient.

A lovely home style place to stay. It was very comfortable with lots of nice touches.

The location was absolutely stunning. The fire pit was so nice to sit around and take in the country in the evening.

Fabulously relaxing place for a family reunion/weekend away with or without small children!!

Heaps of room, homely, great for kids, close to cellar door, fantastic location, so many games & books etc available for use, plenty of everything!!

Loved having space for the family to spread out, with space indoors and out to hang out. It's close to Beechworth and Wangaratta which is super handy, and we loved the creek down the back! Also really enjoyed the pizzas from the winery.

Wonderful Wineland

This is a great spot just out of Beechworth in a lovely setting. The house is comfortable and had all the amenities required for the nights we were there... and it was pretty cold. The wine was wonderful... a must-try if you are in the region! The sunset was beautiful amongst the vines!

Everything in the house was a little dated!
