The cottage was very cosy and well-equipped. We had everything we need! Rod was an exceptional host. We have thoroughly enjoyed our tour on his farm which he has kindly taken us twice to during our stay! My child loves the farm and was so sad when we had to leave.

The cottage was extremely well positioned in Port Arthur and every convenience to make our stay comfortable had been thought of. It really made our day to have a tour of the farm and meet the highland cows, and we’re very appreciative to the hosts for giving us their time to show us around.

Rod and Kim were great hosts and took time out to show us around the property, animals and fantastic view. Cottage had a lovely open fire and was very cosy and comfortable. Just around the corner from Port Arthur, convenience stores and retaurants.

Cute little two bedroom and one bathroom cottage with a cosy lounge and log fireplace. There was also an air-conditioner to supplement the fire if required. The bathroom also had heat lamps. Nice hot shower. Microwave and other electric type cooking facilities available, along with a refrigerator.
A walk around the property with Rod to meet the sheep and cows was a lovely way to finish the stay.
There is nothing I did not like about this property. It was exactly as we had expected.

We love our stay. The cottage was clean and tidy. Amenities are modern and looks like a hotel quality. Direction to the cottage was clear and easily reached by car. The host was friendly and glad to took us for a tour of their farm.
Nothing. All good.

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable. Rod and Kim were very friendly, we loved the walk around the farm. Appreciated the firewood supply and breakfast food.

loved the location and meeting the highland cows. The view from the top of the property was stunning and we were able to walk the property which was great. We were able to order in from the local takeaway which meant we didnt have to head out for food.
We went to watch a movie on netflix , which was provided but there were too many users on the account so we couldn't do it.

Beautiful spot with incredible views. The farm tour with Rod was awesome, the kids loved meeting the cattle (and getting licked lol). The cottage is really well set up with everything you need. Next time we will have to stay longer!

Kim and Rod were very lovely hosts! Rod gave us a very nice tour of the property, introducing us to all the animals including cows, sheep (and a pair of newly born twin lambs from the night before!) and chickens! We even got up close and personal with them - got to brush the lovely cows esp Scarlett and hold the chicken! Breakfast of bread, milk and butter were also very generously provided. The cottage itself was very nice and there was netflix too which was definitely a bonus :)
We understand that the tap water is derived from the tank of rain water hence supply can be limited - the hot water ran out after 2 of us showered, the other 2 of us made do with lukewarm water. The hot water returned after a few hours.

Excellent location with an amazing view. The farm tour was great, we got to meet the cows and learn a bit more about the area.

Quiet, beautiful place. Highly recommend staying here. Fireplace inside was a treat on a cold night.

EVERYTHING
Reverse cycle had the cabin comfortably warm on arrival and the wood fired heater kept us toasty warm through the night
Beds comfortable, lounge relaxing, everything nice and clean.
The morning tour took us up the hill to gorgeous views and a walk among the delightful Highland cows.
Absolutely wonderful hosts
A rare treasure - a place to spend time at and return to again.
Nothing not to love even for a very fussy family

The view is spectacular and the farm tour was fun. There are lots of little touches which make it homely and cosy - the fire, the toys and games, the additional continental breakfast and the welcoming kelpie who we loved patting. It is in a convenient location just up the hill from Port Arthur. Loved there was a porta cot with bedding as our toddler had a meltdown in the bed and so that came in super handy.

The most amazing spot on top of the hill, overlooking Port arthur and the surrounding Valley. It was gorgeous.
The shower ran out if hot water quicker than hoped for. Having said that if you don't have 29 minute showers it's all good!
