Lovely chalet, spacious and well-equipped. All you need for self-catering plus a washer and dryer. Our chalet had a beautiful view from the large patio. No WiFi outside of restaurant (closed when we were there) and reception. TV reception, however, was good. Pleasant 20 minutes stroll to historic site

Restaurant full. No pre arrival communication. Unwilling g to discuss feedback via email.

What an absolutely beautiful place. Well set out and with a great walking tack. It’s so close to the historical site and has it’s own beautiful views.

Such a lovely quiet place to stay.
Reception service was second to none.
Worth the stay.

What a wonderful spot. We had a cabin overlooking the water. Wished we planned on staying more nights. Dining at the restaurant on site was a delicious surprise!

beautiful location and excellent accomodation - easy walk to port arthur attractions

It was the most expensive place we booked during our whole tour of Tasmania.
When we arrived we had power for 10 mins and then no power until after 9pm. We were freezing and wet after a day at port Arthur so was an incredibly disappointing experience (however the manager had a generator so they were fine). No offer to reduce the cost or apology from the facility.
Don’t recommend to stay here. Take the time to travel to another town for the night.

Fabulous view from our room, nice breakfast restaurant and friendly helpful staff.

Beautiful room with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The accommodations were very comfortable and we enjoyed amazing sea views BUT the bar/restaurant/lodge is closed Sun and Mon (shout out to Fox & Hound Pub for serving us both nights) and there is no WIFI. Very expensive for the services we received, won’t be back.

Cabin 18 was perfectly located in natural setting with lots of windows, spacious interior, and cute cut chairs on the veranda. Walking distance to restaurant and trail leading to the beautiful bay.

Lovely property, good facilities, quiet and close to walking track and the water. Would definitely stay there again.

What a deceitful property. The cabin we booked was not the aame as pictured. Much older covered in cobwebs. Only 3 tv channels working. How rude to charge 30 dollars if you dont wash up and charge a fee if you dont take your rubbish out. Ocean view??? What ocean view i woukd never stay here again and the staff are rude and do not care

Did not rate it. Too expensive for very basic accommodation. Location great. Cabins not.

Beautiful accommodation on the water. Close to the Tasman Travel Centre for our 3hour Cruise we had pre booked. Went to the restaurant for dinner which was excellent food and wine.

Loved the view from our cottage. The bed was particularly comfortable and the place was cosy and warm at night. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and we appreciated the extensive video library at reception. The staff at reception and the restaurant were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend Stewart Lodge to anyone. We are so glad we stayed there.

A lovely quiet place in nature with a beautiful little beach and bird life. Loved the foreshore walk around to Port Arthur. Cabin was a little dated, but perfect for a short family getaway.

Wonderful views and ambience

The cabins were spacious and kitchen had full cooking facilities. Bed comfortable and couch too. Restaurant was nice, with a very friendly and attentive waitress. Very hard to find your room at night. There are a lot of narrow lanes and no lighting. It is nearly impossible to see the room numbers. Location is great.

Amazing views, very clean and well kept property, loved the whole experience of being there.

Had a pleasant stay, great location.

This was one of my favorite stays while in Tasmania! Love the bay and would love to return if this wasn't such a long trip from home.
5.0
Cozy cabin. 3 bedroom comfortably slept 2 adults and 2 teens.
5.0
Perfect location to walk to Port Arthur historic site, do tours etc, walk back, then do the same the next day (as the site gives you a two-day pass). Great dining on site - but take a bottle of wine or two. The local shop clearly recognizes isolation is an opportunity to sell wine and beer off the shelf at almost restaurant prices.
2.5
Great location for historic park and the lodges are well enough separated to ensure reasonable privacy. Plus a good restaurant on site.
2.0
Great place with some walking trails around.
Lodge was great, but no WiFi! My son was frustrated.
The in house restaurant was closed. We must drive to somewhere else to have lunch or dinner. Another choice was home cooking, bought some food from small stalls (walk for 5 mins/drive for 1 min)and cook for ourselves. I thought this was also the experience for living in here.
5.0
Pleasant digs next to amazing Port Arthur heritage site.
2.0
Room facilities were terrible - old bathroom that appeared unclean. Stayed for 3 nights and no refresh of towels.
