Excellent welcoming service- will stay again.

Chris and Yolanda are wonderful hosts and make sure that you have a great stay. In addition, the food is of good quality and portion sizes are good.

One minor issue in that the TV remote control 'off' button didn't work and therefore, I had to get out of bed to switch it off. Room 4.

Lovely place to stay.

Lovely rooms, breakfast was perfect. Staff really friendly. Would definitely stay again. We had dinner in the pub too...again the food was fantastic. Really lovely little local pub x

Lovely and perfect, would stay again

Wonderful place to stay Huge room, comfy, clean, safe. Had everything I could possibly need. Would love to stay again Hosts very welcome. Nice food and really quiet at night. I slept very well.

Very comfortable stay ,room was good size clean . Good location , breakfast was good staff were friendly and helpful.. I would recommend to anybody would like stay again. The Everards range of beers , 3 varieties were well kept.

Great pub based stay. Friendly helpful staff. Good honest grub. Rooms are a bit basic but Iknew that already from previous visit. Am very happy to recommend it

Fabulous stay with English breakfast. Wow!

Excellent breakfast and staff going out of their way to help me return to Oakham the following morning. Beautiful setting close to a creek. Super comfortable bed. Lovely hot shower. Coffee amenities in the room. Vegetarian English Breakfast.

A comfortable pub with lovely staff and atmosphere

The location was on a quiet road but the pub was the centre of the area there always seemed to be something going on. Perhaps we were there at a busy period.

The room although comfortable was in the eaves of the old property and a bit hot and stuffy in the summer. There were very few sockets to charge your phone etc and had I known I’d have taken an adapter.

Quiet and relaxing break at this lovely pub would stay again

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast one of the best we have had in a hotel and evening meal was lovely too. We would recommend The White Lion Inn to anyone who asks about hotels in the area.

Very good

The staff were really friendly and very accommodating with our little dog. The food in the pub was very tasty and good value for money. Room was clean and bed very comfortable.

There was quite alot if dog poo on the grass in the beer garden, which really needed picking up

Comfortable stay in a countryside location

It was comfortable, warm and clean. staff were great and breakfast was good.

It was a bit tired in places and could do with a refresh. The party going on in the pub downstairs on Saturday night was loud and could clearly be heard in our room.
