Great location, very clean and well-maintained property.

Location is very near the centre, but quiet area that’s ideal for families. The parking allocation is just in front of the property, and we never had to take the car out as everything is walking distance.

Superb

Loved the location. The decor and furniture inside was lovely and very comfortable.

Ticking noise from boiler in main bedroom made it quite difficult to sleep. Only 3 glasses (other than wine glasses) no big deal but inconvenient if some were in the dishwasher or if there had been 4 people staying. Shower tray very slow to drain so it overflowed slightly when using the shower.

Excellent stay

Good location 10 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride from Piccadilly in york. Nice area mix of students and residential. Ocado and deliveroo delivered. Nice apartment clean comfortable well furnished with everything you would need.

It was a shame everything had to be thrown away because of covid clean.

Really enjoyed our stay - would happily stay there again.

The apartment was spacious enough for a family of four and felt exceptionally clean. It was also located in a relatively quiet part of the city but we found it easy to walk to the main attractions that we wished to see during our stay.

Door hinges could do with some oil.

Comfortable flat in convenient location

The sofa was huge & extremely comfortable. Hardfloors throughout. Two bedrooms with storage. Dog friendly.

For such a lovely kitchen, the counter top is looking a bit tired & split around the sink. Cleaners need to check shower plug for blockages/hair which causes drainage issues - sorted this myself.

City Walls

The property was in a very good location just inside the City walls and everything was in walking distance. All the furnishings were very good, comfortable beds and nice settee. However the 10.5 tog duvet was a bit over the top for the time of year. The fourth bed hadn’t been made up as requested but once we contacted StaysYork they sent someone within an hour to make it up. The secure parking was definitely a bonus. We would be quite happy to stay at the property again.

It was quite warm when we stayed but unfortunately we were unable to have a bedroom window open as the double room only had a door that opened inwards and it was only separated from the public footpath by a small square of grass. The twin room had a window that opened inwards and was either wide open or closed. Another bath mat would have been nice as it was only a small towelling one and with four of us using it it never actually dried out. The bathroom needed some shelving or cupboard to be able to put toiletries away and also a shower caddy. The kitchen didn’t haven’t a draining board or rack, although there was a dishwasher we still needed to wash cups and glasses as they ran out before needing to put the dishwasher on. Also a sweeping brush or small hoover would be handy in addition to the dustpan and brush. None of the above comments affected us enjoying our stay, I think perhaps the property hadn’t been let many times and the items above are easy to rectify.
