This condo is approximately 7 miles or 15 minutes to downtown Galena. This home is NOT pet-friendly.
Welcome to the best view of Lake Galena! This two-level condo features 3 bedrooms, 2 family rooms, fireplace, kitchen, dining area for 8 and multiple outdoor spaces. When you enter Lake Front Getaway (no stairs or steps at entry from parking) you are greeted with Lake Galena views from the family room windows. The main level has an open floor plan and many upgrades. The modern kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and is also fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals and enjoy entertaining your friends and family. The kitchen is open to the dining room and family room where everyone can sit, play games, and relax. The main level bedroom has a King-size bed with an attached full bathroom featuring a 2 person Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy a large 55-inch TV in the living room and a flat-screen TV in the master bedroom, both with Mediacom Cable. Walk downstairs and find additional seating and hang-out space. There are two bedrooms in the lower level. The first is down the hallway and features a queen-sized bed and comfy bedding with a great view of Lake Galena. The second bedroom downstairs is a great space with two Queen beds, seating and bathroom access. There is also a full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room to utilize during your stay. The views are amazing here at Lake Front Getaway and the outdoor spaces to explore are abundant. Great patio on the lower level and a screened-in area for you to enjoy. Upstairs is a deck and another screened-in room for you to spread out. Lastly, a gas grill is available for you to use out front in the designated grill section. We provide the propane!
You'll enjoy use of all Territory amenities and Long Bay Point HOA private outdoor pool. There is easy access to local walking trails and this home is within walking distance to Eagle Ridge Resort, Tennis Courts, Driving Range, North Golf Course, etc. For our summer guests, the private association pool is walkable from the home. All guests have access to the GTA Owners Club which is open year-round and a quick car ride only 2.5 miles away! Your rental will include proximity cards that allow you access to the Galena Territory Owners' Club. This is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. "The Owners' Club" includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, WiFi and outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property.
When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check in. If you cancel prior to the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14 day mark your stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file at the time of booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts. Our cancellation policy is NOT flexible, we highly recommend travel insurance. Travel insurance is offered at the time of booking and up until 15 days prior to check in. The provider is CSA. Please NOTE: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking and present the entire stay.

Cute little condo with plenty of beds. I would have liked the listing to note that the owner's club was not walking distance. Plenty of amenities.

We loved our stay! My husband and I brought four older teens and one kid. They comfortably had the downstairs to themselves and enjoyed having that private space. The two outdoor patios were great - everyone had a place to escape to if they needed a break from the group. Views were beautiful. Amenities were perfect! Host communication was very fast. Parking was easy. Quick walk to the pool. Area was beautiful. Lots to do in and around Galena. Highly recommend and definitely had enough to do for a whole week.
Couple things to note: 1) NO swimming in Lake Galena. We couldn't find why, so we asked around. It's contaminated with run-off from area farms. Such a bummer because it's beautiful! It would be a great lake to boat and swim in. We didn't even use our paddleboards - just in case. 2) Bring bug spray! The gnats were horrendous (and they bite)
Overall, WONDERFUL week with the family (and a couple extra kids) and would absolutely do it again.

The property was beautiful, and the location was great. The resort where the condo is located is gorgeous! My only complaints would be that we send a message with a question before our stay and never heard back. Also a few more staples in the kitchen would have been nice. We cooked one evening and had to run to the General Store to purchase olive oil as there was not any oil or cooking spray in the kitchen.

Eight members of our family (five adults and three children) stayed for 3 days in Galena and had a very nice time from start to finish! We are so pleased that we selected this townhome in The Galena Territory. It was in a very nice location, in outstanding condition, and provided access to two beautiful pool facilities and an outstanding recreational center (The Owners Club). We would definitely enjoy staying at this home during our next visit to Galena!

Second time staying here and it was a wonderful experience again. Love the walking trail outside the condo that winds around the lake. Great location inside the Galena Territories that gives you access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, game and exercise rooms,and so much more. Great communication from management. If you come in summer, take the ski lift on Chestnut Mountain for a great view of the Mississippi valley.

What a beautiful area around Galena. We spent three nights in this lovely condo with our daughter, her husband and three grandsons. They had the lower level all to themselves. Plenty of space and location. The boys enjoyed the walking trails. The condo provided everything we needed except soap for shower. It was very convenient to wedding venue nearby. Would love to return to the area during peak Fall foliage.

I was in Galena with my 3 sisters for sisters weekend. The condo was amazing and we spent most of our time on the screened in porch reminiscing about childhood and catching up on life. The bedrooms were huge and cozy. I think we will be back next year.

Absolutely wonderful! Top to bottom just lovely. Appointed perfectly. The screened in porch was a primary reason we selected this home and it was well used! The only thing id say is that both porches had not been cleaned on the floors. Lots of bugs, beer tops. Not a huge deal but thought youd like to know. The pool was a really nice amenity. Thank you!

We had a relaxing stay at this lovely, well appointed condo. The views from the property are beautiful and the location is superb. We hiked along the lake to the lodge (also a short walk via paved roads) and the Owner's Club is just a short drive away. Inside, the home had everything we needed, was clean, and was very nicely updated. A big thank you to the owners and property managers for accommodating us and for excellent communication. This is one of our favorite properties in the Territory and we would not hesitate to stay again. One note is the third bedroom downstairs was too cold for our toddler to use (both overnight and for naps). There were plenty of extra blankets for adults, but should guests plan to use that space in the winter, we recommend packing warm pajamas.

Our group of four grandmas/college roomies, met here for three days. Reclining chairs and couches were especially comfortable, the view of the lake beautiful, the bedrooms good sized, the electric fireplace cozy, and the kitchen well stocked (even had good pots and pans). The living area is a little tight, but there's another TV with a futon downstairs. It was perfect for us, and we hope it'll be perfect for you.

The property is exactly as the listing says and more. We did not use any of the owner facilities like the pool or marina but did use the restaurant and general store. Property was conveniently located close to downtown, close to the wineries outside of town and very quiet. Plenty of trails to walk or hike and the Thunder Bay Falls were really flowing with the recent rainfall.

Rooms were just like what was pictured on site. very clean. Facing the lake was beautiful. Cocktailing in the screened-in balcony a big plus. Did a lot of walking around to see what's where. Two couples stayed in this great 3 bedroom condo. Amenities were great. Great towels and sheets. Beds super comfy. They had pretty much everything, paper towels, hand soap, Kleenex, toilet paper, pool towels, oil, spices. The only thing we needed was paper plates!! The screened in porch was great and roomy. We would stay again for sure.

This was our 2nd time renting this unit. Beautiful location and layout as usual however the unit needs a good cleaning. Leftover chips on the floor of the patio. Dirty paper plate and empty water bottle under the futon downstairs and some pretzels on the floor in the main living room. Not earth shattering but definitely raised an eyebrow as the first time we stayed the unit was immaculate. Everything else was as we remembered it.

My family and I have stayed in numerous VRBO rentals around the country and this condo ranks right up there among the very best. My wife and I are clean freaks, so the first thing we noticed was how clean it was. This alone helped us feel comfortable for our entire stay.
The Galena Territories provide breathtaking views in all direction and we took full advantage of the many walking paths through the woods, along the lake, and around the golf courses. All told, we logged over 24 miles of walking while there. The amenities were equally nice, and our family really enjoyed the Owner's Club and the private pool that was but a 1/4 mile walk from our condo.
It's a great place to stay and close enough for excursions to downtown Galena or Dubuque.
