Location was good for town centre and parking a boom
Very low standard accommodation, bed small & uncomfortable, not perfectly clean, shower so small I couldn’t turn round in it & water pressure poor.

Location good being almost centre of Skipton with car park . Had a fridge Late checkout of 1030
Lot of stairs, room small, matress dreadful. Can only exit ned bed to one side because of low ceiling. Worst sleep in years. Gave me back ache, neck ache, blanket type duvet cover user unfriendly. Fridge starts up at random times of night and noisy. Dinky teacups not mugs Unsuitable for T bags which were not even Yorkshire Tea in Yorkshire!
I’ll leave it there The manager knows my thoughts

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect being so central and plus free parking was ideal! The breakfast was great being in the room and then an option of a cooked one if needed.

very clean
Breakfast was absolute garbage! couple of stale Pain au chocolate in plastic bags? A Quaker just add water porridge pot. for the price we paid £168 for one night just seems a bit crap

Fantastic location - close to shops, pubs, castle and canal. Was very clean and well catered.
We were in an attic room which although was a nice size room, you could only stand up in 1/3 of it. As a couple in their 60s, and not overly tall, it wasn’t easy to be grovelling around and trying not to hit your head - fortunately, we are still quite agile. And you had to be careful how much you opened the window as if it came below ceiling level, it could have caused an injury! Had the attic room been cheaper than the other rooms available (I’m sure I’d picked a room on the first floor) this could have been factored in as ‘you get what you pay for’. As it was, the room was expensive for its limitations. This room is not suitable for tall people or anyone with mobility issues,

It was very nice room , clean comfy, good bathroom and an even a little fridge in room as well. Location is excellent everything is near as well .

very clean
the phrase ‘breakfast included’ was a bit of a con. It meant continental breakfast and there was a surcharge of £5 each for a cooked breakfast
5.0
Brilliant location and safe parking area.
Opted for a B&B that included breakfast but found out on arrival that a cooked breakfast was an additional cost.

Good location & cheap
Walls were very thin, could hear the next store snoring!

spotlessly clean, the host was very friendly and he did an amazing breakfast.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and in an excellent spot in the centre of Skipton

Continental breakfast was included. Cooked breakfast was adequate and at £5 reasonable.
Some sort of reception area would have improved my arrival. I was on the top floor which had I wind on the stair which was un-nerving. The duvet cover in my room was inadequate for Winter.

central location quiet area
beds too soft!

This is a really good standard B&B. Comfortable room, very clean and a friendly host in the heart of Skipton.
A little pricy for the quality of room.

Central location
Everything else. Especially the ridiculous price of £170 (genie price as it was supposed to be £191 ) plus £13 breakfast, for a very grungy room in a very rundown building. We now realise why there were vacancies here at very short notice when there were no vacancies elsewhere in Skipton. I hope we can laugh about it in the future but at the moment we feel totally ripped off. I could write a long list of ‘dislikes’ but it would be be a waste of time as the proprietor has ‘an answer for everything’ and clearly has a very different set of standards. Our overriding problem was complete lack of sleep due to the creaking and groaning of the floorboards in the room above which continued every half hour through the night when we could hear half hourly urinations of the occupiers of the room above our heads. When we told the owner he professed shock and said we should have contacted him!As if he could have told the people involved to stop walking to the bathroom and using their toilet! The problem is the unsuitability of the structure of the building for hospitality. The furniture was a hodgepodge of cheap items that looked as if they were purchased at a car boot. No where to hang coats and dresses. A folding picnic style table and folding chairs were the only additional furniture to the beds. ‘Continental’ breakfast was cheap biscuits and processed cheese portions with porridge pots! The dingy towels looked and smelled unfresh, as did the bizarre choice of bedding, clearly chosen to conceal stains of any kind rather than for comfort and cleanliness. The only response from the owner we would be interested in having read his responses to past criticisms would be a refund!

Welcoming host. Within short walk of centre. Private car parking included. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Fresh cooked breakfast was delicious. Great value for money.

Very nice rooms, clean and tidy ideal for a couple of nights stay.
Been on the ground floor not good if there's group's of drunk and load mouth people bang around and shouting in the room above. Don't expect a great night sleep. 🥱
