It was pretty. The wine tasting lady was epic
I flet rushed. Emails were not sent as I booked via booking.com.
The staff who we first encountered was disinterested and withheld information

There was only half a roll of toilet paper, the towel rail broke, the toilet took forever to refill and there was no shower door
4.0 / 5.0
The views, the nature, the chickens (although they try really hard to wake you up)
Housekeeping didn’t exchange our used towels with new ones

The location is good, friendly staff... the beer! Listen, THE BEER was AMAZING!!! The Gin tasting was quite an experience, too. The staff are great, always willing to make sure you are comfortable and very accommodating.
The TV's/remote were not fully functional throughout the stay. The beautiful gardens made up for it.

The welcome was not good. From my booking confirmation nobody knew about my booking. The chef had to phone around to get me settled in. There are no log in details anywhere for Wi-Fi

The venue and gardens are gorgeous, full of plant life and scenic.
The bedrooms were clean, spacious and well decorated.
The food was amazing and the cocktails were great.
The gin and wine tastings were fun.
I made a mistake with one of my room bookings but it was not a problem as they were very accommodating and sorted it out, so we had no issues when we checked in.
The staff were busy the day we arrived but still friendly and helpful.
The restaurant closed at 17h00 which is pretty early when you're not in a self-catering unit and far from any other establishments.
There didn't seem to be a reception, so we had to look for a staff member to tell us where to drop off the keys (somewhere in the restaurant) when we checked out.

Absolute breathtaking little gem hidden away in Magliesberg. Stunning farm view and gardens. Our room was exceptional, above what we had expected. Highly recommended for getaway from the city.

beautiful working farm in great location. felt safe
kitchen closes at 4:30 Sunday (they say 5 but you can only get a table up to 4:30) as we were traveling long distance this was very inconvenient. we did not get the rooms we booked.

Beautiful tranquil setting. Peaceful and spacious. Pleasantly surprised at value for money.
Apart from no towel (which I am sure was an oversight) everything was superb.

It was quite peaceful and absolutely beautiful. It was lovely walking around the property looking at the gardens and, of course, the spectacular horses
There was nothing that we did not like

Wonderful food, superb location
I loved everything

Relaxing environment !
The fact that the establishment, should ask you when you book if you want to eat at restaurant, to ensure you have a reservation, seeing that it’s always fully booked, and you staying at property, but can’t have a meal without a reservation !

The room had an amazing view. The lawns are maintained impeccably. The restaurants food is delicious and the venue is amazing with comfortable seating and beautiful views.
I had to ask for soap. And I unfortunately did not manage to have hot water for my stay. They forgot to switch our geyser on before we arrived. All this is a pity as the venue is amazing and could have been resolved with strict checklists before we arrived.

This place is amazing. Every single person in South Africa needs to visit it. And the gin spectacular.
Rooms could air for a bit longer. But nothing that would kill me or anyone else
