Wasn’t cleaned properly. Molded shower curtain, old food and trash in the pull out, broken laundry door and extremely hot.

I loved the representative that gave us a tour and a good run down of the place and the rules to follow. Without him I would have rated this place lower. It’s a wonderful location and the main reason I booked it. It’s super close to lots of stores and places to eat, not to mention pikes place. There’s lots of homeless in the area- but if you live in a city / are familiar with cities like Portland you are already use to it. That being said since I’m from a city it wasn’t that big of a deal for me- if you’re not from a big city you might be turned off by this. Great location, provided me with a relatively cheap stay for what I was looking for. I appreciate the very secure garage, I was never worried about any break ins or theft in the parking garage or building.
The facilities in the apartment are old and could use an upgrade. My biggest issue was the lock and key. The representative warned us that the key would take some getting use to and that you really had to work with it as it was broken. I can’t describe how terrible it was simply trying to unlock and open the door. I literally felt like I was attempting to pick the lock, not to mention how it must have looked to other people living in the building watching me twist and turn the key for 20 minutes until I finally busted in. This made me really stressed out and anxious and for that reason I don’t think I’d ever rent this specific room again. I would work with Vacasa again but just not this particular room.

The location though noisy, was pretty good in relation to the Clipper and all activities in the downtown area. The building interior was quiet. The desk staff were friendly. The room ceiling fan was great.
The studio apartment layout was fine but there were problems that affected our stay. These problems could be easily fixed by the homeowner and better cleaning. We are presuming these concerns would have come up before with other guests, and if so Vacasa should have been aware of these problems and we consider it their responsibility.
We faced 2nd Avenue. It was a very busy and noisy street especially at night and the wee hours of the morning. Many emergency vehicles, sirens, and bar patrons noisily on the streets. The nearby blocks were also populated with many homeless, though friendly people. Sad to see of course.
But these are big city issues and that is not the reason for our poor recommendation.
The bigger problem for us was the lack of cleanliness in the studio apartment and the discomfort of the bed. The overall layout was good and we took a space that included a kitchen because we thought we might do some cooking. Unfortunately the pots and pans were in such poor shape that we didn’t cook at all.
The rugs were soiled and there were spots on the couch that needed cleaning. But the worst was the bathroom. The shower curtain was filthy and had big patches of mold on the inner lining. The floor near the bathtub needed some grout application and the wood near the back end of the tub had come off due to water moisture.
The bed in the bedroom was terrible. There was no box spring. The mattress was very poor and squeaked with every turn as it was only supported by a slatted metal bed frame which provided very little support. I had to remake the bed to add an extra blanket for additional underlay support. It was a bed that you might expect in a hostel accommodation. The room was never dark at night as some shades were missing.
The keyed door lock included a roughly chiselled wood frame.
As mentioned these are all things that can be easily fixed and should be. We hope that Vacasa will see this review. Unfortunately the message we received upon checkout yesterday from Vacasa asking us to review cleanliness was no longer on my phone today. As we were travelling home yesterday there was not time to respond. HoweverI will attempt to contact them and to provide photos for their information.
We stayed for four nights and for the price we paid we expected more.

Absolutely perfect location in Downtown Seattle - Space Needle, Pike market and Olympic sculpture park within walking distance, and lots of restaurants in the area.
The condo had a small indoor swimming pool and a jacuzzi.
Very nice skyline view from the living room.
The check-in process was one of the longest I have ever seen- the place is a fortress and has a veeeeeery long list of rules and the hosts are busy so there is a bit of a waiting time. The check-in guy was extremely kind though.
In terms of cleanliness, there were hairs in the bathtub and old leftover chicken in the fridge, eww.
We had booked for 4 people, but there were only 2 pillows. I contacted the Vacasa customer service, they said they would get 2 pillows delivered but the never came.
Also, the place had just about the minimum required to host 4 people (4 forks, 3 spoons, etc but only 1 bowl, 3 plates, 2 pillows, 3 towels, no dining table...).
And finally... the washing machine didn't work correctly.
All in all, sold as a luxury experience but clearly isn't (at least not for 4 persons, it's probably better with 2), which is disappointing for the price.

The location, in-room and property amenities, updated rooms, kitchen, and free parking.
The after hours greeter Simon was very rude at check-in which set a bad tone for the rest of our stay at Belltown. The staff and security at the reception desk was not very friendly, they would avoid talking to us anytime we passed by. The security measures added an extra layer of stress which we weren’t anticipating.
4.0 / 5.0
Location (easily walk to the downtown area and leave our car), kitchen, the staff that met us upon arrival, bedroom and parking space provided.
It would be helpful to have a little table to sit and eat at, hooks to hang towels and a more comfortable sofa bed.

The location of this little gem of a studio was amazing. We wanted to do a quick weekend with the "classic" Seattle sights. We wanted to be able to park the car and just walk to places like Pike's Place, Space Needle and Columbia Center. The parking garage is locked and you have to have a fob to enter and exit. There is a lot of fun little eateries in the area but the kitchen in the little studio was nice.
This was expected but, for some people could be a big negative. There is a lot of street noise, all night. There is also a street lamp right outside that makes it very bright in the room. If you are the type of person who needs absolute quiet and dark plan accordingly or go somewhere else. Unless you have something specific to go to on 2nd Ave I would avoid it. That is where the heaviest concentration of homeless seem to spend their time.

The location was great
Unit outdated, given 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for 5 days, confusing key return which led us around the property for 45 minutes looking for a room due to false information in our unit to return the key to another unit or we’d be charged, key took awhile to work so door would open, outdated appliances

Location was ok. Parking close/safe.
Accessibility to the rental company for problems and issues. We got locked out of our room not sure why, code stopped working 1 day early. Noise was horrible inside and out.

The location is very walkable to many tourist attractions and close to lots of great restaurants. The room is spacious and comfortable for 3-4 people. Mostly everything is available for guests to feel like they are staying in a home.
We were given the wrong room upon arrival. We settled down and opened our belongings when a person from the facility opened the door using her key and walked into our room to inform us. We only had minutes to pack everything up and move since the room's actual guests were arriving downstairs. The employee did informally offer us a free dinner for the incident but we didn't take it. Though we understand that mistakes can be made sometimes and are not at all angry, the situation left a bad feeling for us throughout our stay. Also, we assumed that the facility comes with AC since most of them are but this facility doesn't, and the room can get quite hot, especially at night and in the bathroom. It did mention on the amenities that they have fans (lots of them), but we just didn't expect them to not have an AC unit.

Some Amazon packages in the closet or under bed
Not enough sheets for the convertible couch
2.0 / 5.0
The pool, hot tub, sauna, washer and dryer, full kitchen, and location.
It was 85 degrees in the room our entire stay. We had to sleep with windows and door open, but then we couldn’t sleep with the noise. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the couch isn’t a true pull out bed. The price was outrageous. They raised the price 4 times the usual price due to an event. We paid 1089$ for the most 2 worst nights of sleep I’ve ever had. The parking garage was a nightmare for a truck. If you have an suv or truck plan on parking and not using your vehicle. You can’t get out if someone is behind you. The actual residents in the building also clearly do not like the people using the rooms for vacation. So many rude comments. The door to the room is also junk and has to be locked with a key even when your inside. Lastly the human poop in the alley was the highlight of the trip. These little city kids were excited for their big city adventure and they got the whole experience. The room would have been fine if I paid 150$ a night, but I paid hotel prices for a terrible stay.

Centrally located, walking distance to attractions. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Secure parking. Useful kitchenette. Comfy main bed. Good wifi.
Air conditioning unit wasn't so effective in hot weather. Could have better pillows for the sofa bed.

Arriving just a few minutes ahead of schedule and having to wait to be let in. I text to let him know I was there at the rental at 3:55. He text back at 4 letting me know he was running behind and it took over 10 minutes to get in. Don’t ask a guest to be prompt and then be late. I walked to the rental with luggage. It was a humid day. My fellow travel was spent by this time. The person even confirmed the time with me a few days prior. Low point of rental.

Place was quiet during late hours. Strict entry ways for security. Pool and hot tub was available.
Host didn’t come on time and made us wait 10 min. Beds were uncomfortable and made me feel itchy. Room was super hot and needs a new ac.

The location was very convenient and within walking distance of everywhere we had planned to go. The size and kitchen appliances had everything we needed and made our stay very convenient.
The vanity cubbard was unhinged and the towel rack looked like the screw was going to come off.

Love the location, a good distance from the space needle and Pike Place Market. Bed was very comfy and unit was very clean. Liked that the parking garage is gated, and has security making rounds fairly often. The unit was well-decorated and very clean.

The person met up with me in a timely manner. Location was in walking distance to many of Seattle's popular attractions. Common areas clean and well manicured.
No wash cloths in the rooms. Asked multiple times for them at beginning of trip and never received them. Underneath the bed were dust bunnies and used carpet squares. The mattress and a pillowcase had what appeared to be blood spots on them. So, now that I think about it, I doubt that the sheets were cleaned. Ugh. Cleanings staff was very rude and attempted to enter the room without knocking on checkout day. Said, checkout is at 10am, you better call Vacasa or they will charge you extra. Bed was not level and gave me a headache. Fan unit in room was inadequate. Door jam looked like someone broke into the room. The kitchen items were labeled but things were not where they were supposed to be.
1.0 / 5.0
The place was well stocked and mostly clean. Location was convenient to Pike Place Market and Seattle Center, and garage parking was consistently available, as advertised. (Parking spaces were small though)
The bedsheet had a big tear right in the middle and the pillow case was frayed and tattered. It was ridiculously visible and obvious. The pillow case had red-brown colored stains (that I hope were makeup). Unbelievable that you can rent out a place with sheets and pillow cases in that condition. (I have photos that I can share if anyone wants proof)
I would have started a load of towels before I left, but the detergent container was empty when I arrived. It would have also been nice to have a box of facial tissues.
The checkin process was like a treasure hunt. As the rental approaches, each day you're given one more piece of information on how to checkin and get into the rental, up until the very day of checkin. And you have to set up a meeting with their Ambassador to get the keys/fobs. I would have liked to have received ALL the information I needed a few days before, so I can organize my travel information as this was my third city on this trip. And I would have liked to have set the appointment to meet your Ambassador several days in advance, instead of the night before or the day of. Once the start date arrived, I was traveling all day from early morning and don't have time to be trying to contact someone and set up an appointment. What a hassle.
The service charges are ridiculously high and buried in the fine print. The rental was advertised at one price, but the total charge was actually 75% higher than the price advertised on the web page. An additional 47.8% service charge? Another additional 20.83% service charge? The cleaning charge and taxes were understandable, but the additional service charges just seem like a sneaky way to get more money.

*It was clean.
*It was centrally located.
*Staff not accommodating nor helpful.
*No place to store luggage prior to check in or after checking out. It really is unacceptable to tote your luggage through the streets for 3-4 hours.
*Very poor communication between staff--one would tell me something, another something different. Did not return call about late check out. After we checked out, I got an email welcoming me.
