lovely house - shame about the broken central heating

The house was lovely, clean and spacious. the kitchen and living rooms are a delight.

The heating was broken and took 24 hours to be fixed, and we had to sleep in hoodies as upstairs was too cold. It took too long for the problem to be fixed, greatly affecting the enjoyment of the stay.

Dodgy host

The flat was big and clean. Internet worked OK.

After I booked, they called and asked me to cancel my booking because they had an issue with the flat. I told them I wasn't going to. The next day, they called me again and said that if I didn't want to cancel they can "fix" the flat in time for my reservation if I paid a bit more. I said no again, so they went back to asking me to cancel. In the end I didn't cancel and my stay was OK, but I don't appreciate the hosts attempt to get more money out of me. Also, the bed was broken.

Beautiful, relaxing and just what we all needed.

Beautiful house in a central location with extremely helpful host who was extremely accommodating of extra requests such as us bringing in a private chef to cook us a meal. Amelia answered every call or email quickly.Can't rate the property highly enough.

The house was dramatic and full of colour but dirty street and deprivation offputting

Breakfast n/a. Location awful, street filthy, furniture abandoned on street, people sitting on house steps, drinking alcohol all day, swearing at and ignoring their young children, felt unsafe as people kept staring at us. Although we werent threatened.

Ventilation, couldnt open windows in front bedroom and downstairs room so felt airless. Upstairs shower was not held securely in place, downstairs shower tray go blocked and tiles were lifting on floor

Good

Good location, near to the sea and a short walk from town. Went for an amazing massage at a place 2 mins walk away. Decor is really nice and the host left out some prosecco, chocolates and other bits which was a really nice welcome.

Place looked really good but the bed was pretty uncomfortable which was a real shame. The patio could do with a good clean and the cardboard box removed - we didn't go out there because of that.

A beautiful apartment close to Margate Old Town

Amelia's apartment was the perfect place for a weekend break to the coast. It's so close to Margate old town, and the decor and cleanliness were excellent. We also enjoyed the wood burner and complimentary wine! We couldn't fault our stay, would definitely recommend- thank you!
