Superb

Sheheer was a great host! Super helpful and friendly. He even helped pick us up some medication from the pharmacy when I got sick and let us stay another night. The room was also super spacious and clean.

The kitchen could have a few more facilities/implements but as soon as we mentioned that, Sheheer was more than willing the accomodate 😊

The caretaker was absolutely amazing!!!! Good location, around a 15minute walk to varkala cliff where there is lots of resturants and shops. The host was helpful

Could have been a little cleaner, lots of ant infestation in the kitchen and cobwebs in the bedroom. We only had one small blanket for a double bed for two people, only one towel to share as well. We wanted to hire a moped which is really reasonably priced however moped didn't start and moped was in very poor condition, I'd say very unsafe to drive.

There were lizards in both the rooms (even after having mentioned to make sure there weren't any, while booking) which affected the overall experience. One of the washrooms was not attached to the bedroom and was a little uncomfortable to use.

perfect and welcoming

The property where we stayed was perfect and clean.. and the Host was sooo friendly and welcoming... close to varakala beach..which gave us a good vibe immediately..It had plenty space and a sit out balcony where u could njoy the pleasent breeze...

we need to walk a bit to get to near by stores

The rooms were clean, neat and well maintained. The homestay was pretty decent. The service was also good. Will surely recommend this stay to any friend visiting Varkala.

Great place; would definitely visit again!

The host was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we need. The property is very close to the cliff/helipad so that was a big plus as well.

Only 2 rooms have AC, so if you're a bigger group, that might be an issue, especially in the summer months . Also, the upstairs room smelled of cigarette smoke, so an air freshener would have been nice.

Very comfortable and homely stay.

They prepared and served home food and it was nice. They created homely atmosphere. Location is also nearer to the beach.

Though it is a 3 bed room house, only 2 toilets are available. If possible, provide one more toilet with geizer facility.

Friendly Host . . . Residential neighborhood . . . Excellent value for money!

Excellent home for our family of four. Though there's a nominal charge for air-conditioning, the home is excellent value for money. Special mention of the host, Shaheer - friendly, hard-working, and full of life, he goes the extra mile to present the homestay at its best! Shaheer's wife is a very good cook, and they home deliver the food.

Since the expansion of the homestay is taking place behind the property . . . one will have to put up with a bit of noise, occasionally. Nevertheless, excellent value for money! You have a spacious, entire two-storeyed house to yourself in a residential neighborhood.
