Welcome to The Desire! It's time to gather your KREWE for this elevated experience in The Big Easy! Each of NOLA LUX's condos are designed with YOU in mind - high-end furnishings & decor, stocked with ALL of the essentials to get you started, and resonates VACATION MODE.

The Desire (named after THE streetcar!) is what you Desire for your stay in New Orleans! Perfect for large groups, this home is two side by side condos with a grand total of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and can comfortably sleep 8 people. Two balconies and a queen size sleeper sofa included in this fun space!

Each spot is equipped with a starter kit, so you have the basics you need to kick start your vacation as soon as you get here. Kitchenware. Coffee. Toiletries. The essentials. We also leave you a little lagniappe snack/drinks while while you get settled in.

Besides all the goodies we already bring to the table, this location is:

The Desire has a location that can't be beat! Get your steps in and check out the coolest local bars and restaurants that NOLA has to offer all within a casual stroll of this home. Did we mention the French Quarter was just a 10 minute walk? If you want even more excitement, grab an Uber to Magazine Street, Marigny, or Bywater.
Four blocks from the St. Charles Streetcar Line.. this is a great option to see the gorgeous mansions and Live Oak tree draping of St. Charles Avenue.
Countless coffee shops and convenience stores located in a two block radius of this home.
Rouses Market is nearby too.

EVERY HOME, EVERY TIME
In a NOLA LUX home, you'll always find our bathrooms stocked with a starter set of everything you need to get squeaky clean including (but not only) shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our kitchens have all the essentials needed to prepare your favorite meal. Kick start each morning with Keurig coffee pods included with every stay. We've even got your TV entertainment covered with hundreds of streaming options to choose from.
NOLA LUX homes are immaculate and well maintained by professionals who clean and sanitize between every guest using the highest standards in the industry.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The following details are important but aren't specific to this particular unit and apply to all reservations made at a NOLA LUX property.

WE RECOMMEND TRIP INSURANCE
Planning a vacation can be stressful enough when everything goes right but adding a pandemic to the mix adds a whole lot of uncertainty. Trip insurance keeps you from losing your vacation rental investment if you need to cancel for a covered reason. We're here to help if you have any questions!

HOUSE RULES
These are all no brainers, but we don't want any confusion so we're going to state the obvious:
- NO SMOKING
- No gatherings greater than the approved occupants
- No rearranging furniture please
- Quiet hours between 10PM - 8AM strictly enforced

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. There are exceptions made on a case-by-case basis and with a paid security deposit and our express written permission. Contact us for details.

**We do not accept bookings from guests within a 50 mile radius.**

SECURITY CAMERAS
Security cameras are in all common spaces of the building, but no worries, no cameras inside any of the homes. We do also have internal sensors that detect temperature, humidity, THC, vapor, and decibel levels.

GUEST REGISTRATION
After you book your reservation, we will require the completion of our electronic Rental Agreement and a copy of a government-issued ID (excluding Airbnb bookings).Once completed, your check-in instructions will be emailed to you thirty days before your arrival date.

OPTIONAL FEES
The following fees are paid in addition to and after the reservation is paid for:
- $150 Early Check-In anytime after 11AM (must be arranged within three days of arrival)
- $150 Late Check-Out anytime before 2PM (must be arranged within three days of arrival)
- $25 per night single rollaway bed rental (includes all necessary bedding)
- $25 per night crib rental (includes all necessary bedding)

SUPPLY STARTER KIT
No one wants to have to worry about getting to the store after traveling all day! That's why we provide a supply starter kit – to get you through the first day or two of your stay.
The kit includes: three rolls of paper towels, dish sponge, five dishwasher pods, four trash bags, dishwashing liquid, ~12 coffee pods per bedroom count, creamer, sweetener, salt/pepper, olive oil, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath soap bar, lotion, mouthwash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and three rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.

PARKING
While we do not have any long-term parking on-site, there are countless parking options that we would be happy to provide more information on. Thankfully our location is optimal for walking (or short Uber/Lyft ride) experiences for guests of all ages.

This is an ideal location to enjoy Mardi Gras, or New Orleans itself while keeping your distance from the chaos of the French Quarter. From here, you're just a short walk through the Garden District to the major parade route on St. Charles. We enjoyed the amenities of a full apartment, which offered the chance to just relax, away from crowds in a hotel or public space.

Very enjoyable stay at the Refinery. We had everything we needed and felt close to both restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The balcony was a nice addition as we enjoyed morning coffees before setting out for the day. The ability to both check in early and check out late was a real bonus as is access to storage for luggage. Made the trip that much more convenient for our group! Would def book again.

This is a beautiful apartment and location. It was great that Rouses grocery store was within walking distance and the convenience store a block away. The property manager was available to help with everything. The place was very nicely and beautifully designed, we took lots of pictures and bragged a lot about our cool place. The location was good too that you just walk to all of the New Orleans attractions. All the restaurants around the apartment were really good too. No complaints at all!

This property was excellent for four couples. Plenty of space and so very clean. Great proximity to the convention center and yet close enough to walk to many New Orleans sites. Communication was excellent and super easy and even when we made a change we were accommodated easily.

Property of this size and quality is rare!! This property is a must! It was clean and cool with modern decor. The location is in good walking distance to the convention center and many great restaurants. I would highly recommend!
