Everything from the location, amenities, to the beautiful house and great property owner was wonderful. The whole family had an amazing time!

Clean comfortable and on the water what else can you ask for!

Our family had a very comfortable stay, snorkel gear, bikes, towels, laundry everything we needed. The only unexpected was the ocean water was smelly at times and we used the paddle boards to collect trash out of the water as it collects in the dock area. I still gave 5 stars, but we definitely didn't feel comfortable swimming right off of the deck with everything gathering in that area. The pool was a nice alternative!

As always we enjoy Venture out!
Mel’s place was awesome! She was great to deal with as well!

Loved the house and everything was perfect.
My only concern or thing to watch out for is if you have a boat. The bubblers at the end of the canal doesn't work, so there is a thick pile of seaweeds at the end of the canal in front of the house. We were being very careful, but it almost ruined the trip when they got into the engine. (I think it is a Venture Out issue, not a rental issue).
The rental is still 5 star and I would rent it again. This is probably my favorite house so far at Venture Out.

Everything was perfect, the house was beautiful and well stocked. We even saw two manatees hang out right in front of the house for about an hour! The location is great and the host was extremely helpful.
Side note, the Square Grouper restaurant, which is just down the road, was one of the best places we ate in the Keys!
4.8
The location is perfect to airport and Key West/Marathon. We found the house to have everything we needed and the neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful.
4.8
Average, clean and relaxing. Fine for a relaxing get away but nothing special. Communicating with the owner was rather frustrating. We received multiple repedative emails requesting information and giving special instructions that we responded to over and over again.
4.8
The house was emmaculate and a great central location for trips to Key West and Islamorada for the week. The beds were very comfortable and the space was very homey...we've stayed in many VRBO rentals, and this was the best appointed kitchen we've experienced from a K-pod and a drip coffee maker to an airfryer. Though we never grilled, the outdoor spaces on both levels were very nice, and we appreciated the umbrella and beach chairs for our day in Zachary Taylor.
4.8
Beautiful home with top notch appliances and furnishings. Location was close to Key West many day trips in the keys.

We really enjoyed our stay. This house is incredibly clean, modern and everything you need for a stay in the keys. The location fit our needs perfectly. We loved having the marina on site, the opportunity to ride bikes through the community, swim and to simply enjoy the outdoors in a secure community. We would absolutely stay again.

My husband and I (70+) enjoyed our stay in this unit. A perfect location and very clean. Due to travel delays, we arrived around 11pm and I needed a question answered and Melanie was quick to respond. Enjoyed riding bikes and walks to the pool.

I, grandma, went to Cudjoe Key with my 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. The oldest was 9 and the youngest was 2 months old. Wonderful, wonderful time

We really enjoyed our stay on Cudjoe Key and particularly the location of this house in Venture Out. It was well appointed, clean, and comfortable with a nice view of the canal and a short walk to bigger water views.

Melanie's home was immaculate. Perfect place to stay, right on the canal. You are able to watch the sunrise every morning from the large upper balcony. There is also a small balcony that is right off the master bedroom. The resort had all the amenties that were listed on the brochures. 2 pools, adult hot tub, the Venture Out convenience store and so much more. We rented a golf cart to go to the pools as it was a little bit away from the house. Everyone was so friendly. Make sure you drive the speed limit and don't go 1 mile over in the resort and driving through Florida as they want their state to be safe for everyone. Every time I had a question Melanie responded right away.

Nice place to stay to escape the cold up north! Very clean and had everything we needed!

Beautiful updated property! We loved the location and were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was! Mel was great and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always responded quickly to our questions! Highly recommend and looking forward to returning!

Host thought of almost everything. Even a key lime pie in the freezer as a gift. Thanks Melanie definitely going to come back here

Everything was smooth sailing from booking on through to arrival - rental was very clean, equipped with everything we needed. Venture Out community has lots to do and a great vibe. Thanks for an awesome vacation in the Lower Keys. Only regret was that we only had a few days to spend, hope to come back soon!

My family of four travelled to Cudjoe Key for Thanksgiving. The house was exactly as it appeared in the pictures and description. We brought our bay boat with us and the dockage was perfect. There are plenty of supplies available to use. We would definitely stay here again. Melanie is a great communicator and responded quickly to any question we had.

Home was very clean great location thanks for the key lime pie Melanie

The location was great for our family, who wanted to see more than Key West. Friendly staff at Venture Out, and nice, quiet community. Really enjoyed our time!

Return to same unit as last year. Some new updates were a pleasant surprise.
With our boat in canal could not have been easier to be in 560 ft in only 8 miles and catching mahi-mahi. After a day of fishing, docking the boat by the pool and cooling off was an everyday routine. Then going to the condo to clean the fish and washing the boat. My wife and I went out in the boat 6 days straight. It is definitely one of our favorite places to stay! The staff in the marina store are very nice and friendly.
Fuel, bait, ice, and Key lime pie are always available ! I would highly recommend this place.

Been vacationing in venture out for years and this was by far the nicest place we have stayed in. Fantastic home and hope stay there again next year. Would recommend this home and host to everyone.

The home was overall very clean, spacious, and perfect for our family vacation. We utilized the kayaks and bikes. I will note that the bikes are rusted and can be challenging to pedal. There are several rules for staying in the home, one of which, was not clearly noted on the listing. One of the rules is that the air-conditioning unit cannot go below 74 or the unit will "freeze up." If you know anything about the Keys during the Summer, it gets HOT. If I had known this, we would not have booked. This information should be clearly noted on the listing. On the day of departure, my kids accidentally placed plastic Publix bags in the recycle bin, as they typically do at home. Even though this is a violation of the rules, I felt the Host could have addressed it in a much more customer friendly way vs texting me that she now has to pay someone to sort out the garbage. This was an innocent, simple, mistake, that should have been handled better by someone identified as a "super host."
Because I questioned the intent of her texts to me, she labeled me as "nasty" and basically threated to charge my credit card because she had to pay someone to pull out one or two plastic publix bags. So basically, even though the place was clean, we will not be staying there again.

Very nice place to stay and the home we rented was very well maintained. Having the boat right out back and ease of a marina was awesome. Security onsite were really helpful and courteous. Venture Out facility very well maintained as well.

Everything is there you could possibly need! Very clean, plenty of snorkel gear, and kayaks. Very relaxing!

Photos said it all at this location. Was searching for first time on VRBO and found just what we wanted. Place has EVERYTHING and was IMMACULATE !!! FRESH with design and decorating HOST was GREAT. Boating accommodations great.

We came down to venture out to relax. The property allowed us to do that,I have stayed at several other VRBO’s in the past. And this one has everything we needed, all those small things you need, but don’t need to buy.The home is beautiful and the location was incredible. We even relaxed on the dock and caught fish in the canal. The area is safe and fun lots to do with in the property.Best vacation in a long time.we will be back!

Elementary aged girls stayed for spring break, loved the fact they could ride the bikes to the pool and taking out thr paddle board. House was clean! Everything as listed.
4.8
This property is in pristine condition with very comfortable beds and furniture and all the amenities we needed. Breathtaking sunrises!
4.8
Enjoyed a spotless 2 bedroom, 1 big bathroom home on the boat canal with everything you need; washer/dryer, dishwasher, plenty of dishes, sheets, pillows, TVs, cable, Netflix, bbq, kayaks, beach gear, views, breezes, sunrises, sunsets, and on and on. Community has great and big heated pool and clean “beach” and security and friendly people! We didn’t take advantage of everything at Venture Out but it has plenty to keep you active or just relax. Location conveniently located between Key West and Marathon. Recommend Square Grouper restaurant 5 minutes away and Kiki’s Sandbar restaurant 10 min away. Also recommend sunset in Key West and Dolphin Research Center in Marathon and Bahia Honda State Park. Wonderful stay!

Wonderful location, clean, relaxing!

Venture Out was a wonderful place to stay. Close to Key West to make day trips, but far enough out to enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. Venture Out is a family friendly location. We were able to bike around the property to get to the pool, beach area, and convenience store.
Melanie was a great host. Our check in time wasn’t until 4:00, but she called to let us know the property was ready and let us check in early. The house sits right on a channel with beautiful sunrises. Kids could kayak and swim right at the house.
We definitely recommend this place and hope to come back!
