Perfect location for a retreat to the countryside. The cottage itself really felt like a sanctuary. Would definitely lo

Cottage was quiet and peaceful with the freedom to enjoy the beautiful grounds and garden . It had absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. Biscuits and milk were much appreciated. There is now a freezer too. The cottage is very tastefully decorated. Public footpath about two mins away, leading you to the most idyllic views of this area of outstanding beauty. Vida was easily contactable and very helpful, responding to queries almost immediately both before and during our stay. We were also able to check in a little earlier and her directions (avoiding the steep country roads) were invaluable! Do check out Jolly Nice along the way for the loveliest farm shop.

Nothing that we didn’t like . Did notice a few wood lice though .

A very peaceful location with comfortable, well equipped accommodation.

The cottage was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We had access to the garden, were able to explore the locality and come and go as we pleased. The peaceful location suited us well. Communication with the owner was good.

There was no freezer box in the fridge, something we missed given the temperatures during the week were in the mid to high 20s!

A really lovely place to stay

The cottage was in a really beautiful part of the Cotswolds. It was really well equipped and tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of free parking.

The only downside was that the local pub had closed a few months before so we had quite a walk to the next nearest pub for food and drinks

A lovely location from which to explore with my husband what are in fact my own 'birth hills' more fully

Wonderfully peaceful location. Very well appointed on the whole-high standard of furnishings & bathroom equipment (with sumptuous towels!) Extremely pleasant & personable hosts.

It would have been helpful to know in advance the fridge has no freezer capacity.

I would definitely stay again. I loved the cottage

The cottage was very quiet, quaint, well equipped and a comfortable bed. The host was more than helpful and there was a comprehensive guide to use equipment. Parking was very convenient and plenty of space.

I should have spent a little time to work out the quickest and easiest route however there were easy to follow instructions on how to avoid narrow lanes on way to cottage

Perfect cosy cottage with brilliant host

The cottage is beautiful, has the perfect facilities for a holiday and is comfy and clean. Vida made such an effort from the beginning, getting in touch to leave us instructions and ask if we needed anything. Check in was simple and we were grateful to see leaflets, instructions and more so that our stay would be easy and fun. Would recommend anyone who wants a cosy trip away to stay here!

The village is a little hard to find but Vida sent some great instructions to be as helpful as possible

A lovely little Cotswolds cottage

Really cute and cozy little cottage, the host kindly provided things like milk, tea and coffee in addition to ketchup, brown sauce, and cooking oil. Also provided was some basic cleaning supplies. Check in/out very easy as just a key box. Host also provided directions to the cottage to help us avoid the very narrow/steep roads around the area.

We found quite a few woodlice around the property which wasn’t a huge issue for us but if you don’t like bugs this might put you off? Also do be aware that a lot of the popular Cotswolds sites are a good 45 minute drive from the property. It’s definitely worth following the host’s driving instructions if you want to avoid the very narrow, steep roads around the property as well.

We had a very enjoyable stay in a peaceful and relaxing setting.

The cottage was furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It was clean and comfortable. The setting was peaceful and private. We appreciated the welcome pack of groceries and the toiletries, and another nice feature was the provision of logs for the wood-burner.

Minor suggestions: we would have appreciated a shelf unit in the shower and a washing-up bowl!
