Great cabin hidden away on the Toccoa River. Calm, peaceful location

We absolutely LOVED staying here! We had our Son and his family with us! All of us enjoyed every minute and didn't want to come home! From fishing, swimming, kayaking, tubing, grilling out, getting in the hot tub, etc. What a fantastic place and communication was exceptional the entire time leading up to the trip as well as while we were there. Highly recommend this home! We will be back!

We had a great time. Very relaxing.

Our family had a wonderful time. The location and having the river right out the door was perfect for us. We were able to swim, fish and explore around the property and had plenty of space to relax!

This semi-private nest for the weekend made for such a great birthday weekend for my husband. Loved being right on the river, loved that the hot tub worked, comfortable beds and wood was stocked for an outdoor fire! This stay was top tier!

Went for a weekend fishing retreat. Great location for fishing, relaxing, and getting back to nature.

Love this place and especially the location right on the Toccoa River. House very well-appointed and bed was very comfy. Could have a little more kitchen gear, which we communicated to Joni. Overall a great experience, and we plan to come back!

We had a great time. This is truly a "park and don't leave" cabin. Hot tub, fire pit and fishing. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the Roost. Loved the privacy it offered. The river right in the front yard. The hot tub didn’t work at first. Just a breaker. The property management company comes right out ( 8:30 at night) to get it going. My four nieces were very pleased. Definitely wonderful customer service. I would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a little down time. We plan on taking another trip in the Spring. Gonna bring the kayaks.

Love staying there, but the descriptions were outdated and they change things and I brought things unnecessary like a Keurig coffee machine and I brought some warm sheets for a queen size bed Otherwise it was a great stay

Very nice cabin located on Toccoa River. Well stocked. Lovely fall colors. FYI: Although layout is same, some furniture has been changed since photos were taken. No carpet or bunkbed upstairs. Rough driveway in and hot tub could have been a little cleaner. No complaints otherwise. Would rent again.

beautiful little cabin in the woods on a crystal clear river. We had a great time. We hope to return to this place in the spring.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location for relaxing and spending time with family. We also ventured out to the Serenberry winery. Heidi, our pup also had a fantastic time.

While we did enjoy our time here, the bed in the Master Bedroom is not very comfortable. My pregnant wife related it to sleeping on a piece of plywood.

Planned for a quiet weekend. Very enjoyable convenient to fish hatchery, swinging bridge and Toccoa Riverside Restarant

We had a wonderful time, the cabin was fully stocked and well kept . Loved everything about the cabin and surroundings. The doggies had a great time roaming and swimming in the river.

Beautiful cabin! Location is perfect! I was so happy to be able to bring my dogs!! Dogs are $50 extra each & not included in the original cost! The hot tub was so relaxing and made that time so much more special! Although the river was flowing too fast, due to heavy rains, for us to fish, we had so much fun playing Green Glass Door & making s'mores at the firepit right next to the river! We also enjoyed a great hike up to see Sea Creek Falls! It was only about a 20 minute drive from the cabin and was a perfect afternoon adventure! No cell service but the tablet in the kitchen was helpful!! I wish I had one in my kitchen! We also took advantage of the $30 1pm late check-out and spent more time with family in the morning. We had a wonderful time! I would definitely go back!!

We fell head over heels for The Roost. We've stayed in more cabins than we can count, and this was among our favorites. It's very rustic and simple, so if pool tables, arcades, and gourmet kitchens are your thing, it's not for you. What you get is the most beautiful property we've ever stayed at. A true cabin and one we could actually see living in. Each morning we'd wake and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the misty morning light, with the only sound being the chittering insects and the Toccoa river gently rushing by and lapping the shoreline. We loved the accessibility of the firepit too. Sometimes at the mountain properties they can be precariously located on a steep slope. This one was flat and just a few steps from the home. Bring chairs though, as the benches shown in the pictures are no longer there. Property manager was quick to respond when we discovered while starting dinner that the propane tank for the gas grill was empty, and quickly brought out a new one; and also when we had a problem with the living room TV. Beds were very comfortable. We packed lots of essentials as most cabins just give you a small "starter pack" until you can get to a store, but this cabin came stocked with several rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, a back up roll of paper towels, dish soap, sponge, dishwasher and laundry detergent, etc. We would not have planned on packing any if we had known how well stocked it would be. They even provided a nice gift bag with locals jams and soap upon arrival which was a nice touch.
Only about a 20 minute drive to Toccoa Valley Campground, where you can enjoy a wonderful and relaxing tubing trip; and tons of hiking options in the area.
Thanks again for having us, we'll definitely be back!

The Roost was absolutely exactly what we hoped for. We were so surprised to see gifts waiting for us upon our arrival. We loved the views and the rooms were equally beautiful. It really felt like a home away from home. My daughter is 7 and loved the bunk beds as well as all of the home decor. Thank you for much for making our trip a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed the property. Right on the river and you can put floats in just up the road at the deep hole campsite and float back to property.
Girls loved the hot tub and just running around the area.
The only thing was that I couldn’t get to work in master was the tv and there were no trash bins outside to put the trash after we cleaned up. Both very minor and did not impact the stay.

Perfect Peaceful Paradise
We were so happy with the choice of our summer get away! Leaving the hot, humid busy days of Florida and coming to the quiet, lazy days full of fresh mountain air was a much needed break for us. The house was very clean (I even checked the baseboards, lol)! I was a little worried about smells as they allow dogs but the house smelled great! We loved sitting outside, listening to nature and watching the water flow. Make sure you stock up on food and personal items before you go because the closest grocery store is about 30 minutes away. We did not mind, though because we were able to see the amazing countryside. (There is a little convenience store down the road - just check the hours). We were not able to go into the water as it was flowing too fast (it rained a lot!) and was too cold but believe later in the summer we would be able to. It was hard to get down to the water, perhaps a small railing would help. The only downside, if you can call it that, was there are not any curtains that you can close all the way. Overall, we loved The Roost!
