Good location to town for independent shops/butchey/chippy and bigger Co-Op and Tesco.
Check-in instructions were clear and property felt secure.
We were pre-warned that parking is on-street 300 yards either way.
Property was clean and sofa and beds/bedding were comfortable.
New carpets upstairs and hot water/heating worked perfectly.
Caught out that there is no dining table, although the property is very small so no space to have one, just a realisation when we served tea on the first night. Just a heads up for those with younger children or who don’t like eating off trays.
The kitchen felt like a bit of an afterthought with a mish-mash of crockery and rickety old frying pan etc. Had a sense of a charity shop trip rather than the investment the rest of the property had.
Inevitable road noise from lorries which creates a strange echo through the passageway. Again, just for other travellers to be aware; was fine for us out and about all day.
Last point to be aware of - there are no internal doors downstairs, so if travelling with pets you may prefer to bring a crate.

Beautiful little cottage, very clean . Locals are very friendly. Everything provided in the cottage . Great price. Beautiful little town
The cottage is very dog friendly but the local pubs are unfortunately not which we were surprised about .

Communication was brilliant.
The cottage was very clean upon arrival and comfortable throughout the stay.
It has everything you need for a lovely getaway.
We used to live not too far from Ruthin so we know the area well. However, if you have never been, this cottage is a great location as it is within walking distance from all shops and restaurants.
Moel Famau is just a short 15 minute drive away for anyone looking for a nice walk during their stay.
We stayed here as we attended a wedding and this would be the first place we book if we need to stay near Ruthin again in the future.
There was only one downside and that is the parking. However, there are plenty of side streets you can park down. They do get busy but once you have a space it's not an issue.
There is also a cheap car park. Unfortunately, this was full during our stay.

Lovely little cottage with everything you need for a few days away, spotlessly clean and tidy with everything we needed for the night just unfortunate we couldn't stay for longer to enjoy the area and facilities more due to work commitments, the little garden out the back is a real bonus in sunny weather.
Only minor issue was finding the property due to the numbering being out of sync on the road, but that was resolved very quickly with the help of google maps :)

Central location close to main street in Ruthin. Plenty of pubs and eating places in the town. Fine view to the Clywd hills and an exce llent base for exploring north Wales.
Car parking was a bit distant. Car parking fees were not exorbitant (£3.50 per day). Motorbikes and lorries passing the house could be very noisy at times.

A little gem of a place - warm, clean and comfortable.
Quiet location.
Close to Town centre.
Ideal for our needs.
No parking at the property but we knew this when booking. We parked in a side street a short walk away after getting permission from a resident.
The back court was a bit neglected but it wasn't back court use weather so not a problem during our stay.

The cottage is beautiful and felt so homely, great location and only a few minutes walk into the town. There is also a car park a few minutes walk away. Loved the little extra touches with sweets 🙂. You won't be disappointed staying here, we are definitely returning. Thank you for a very comfortable stay xx

Location was perfect! Just in the town so you can walk every where. I really enjoyed that. The garden is quirky and the cottage so beautifully laid out - I loved having the option of a bath! Thank you for letting me stay and I will definitely return.
Paying for parking (but I knew this prior to staying) as there is no parking with the property.

Lovely place to stay. Great base for visiting Wales or if you just want a few days around Ruthin.
The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable.
Nothing to dislike really. Shame there's no parking at the property but we knew this anyway and parking is just a short walk away

Everything as described, all clean and pleasent, good for the our dogs, short walk from the town (the town also had no complaints - clean, friendly helpful people, good parks). One concern I thought was being on main road would be noisy (trucks) but no, the house is well insulated, no problem.
Car parking - we used council one just 50yards away, £1.50 for 3 hours.

The cottage was lovely and just right for up to 4 people. Extremely comfy beds and everything clean and tidy. So convenient for the town and really good value. Will definitely look for this place first when staying in Ruthin again.
