Mooi hotel met wat verbeterpunten

Mooie en fijne badkamer en een hele fijne ligging in het centrum van Haarlem. Het ontbijt was vrij simpel met mooie muziek op de achtergrond. De eigenaar vertelde nog wat leuke informatie over Haarlem bij het inchecken.

De kamer was mooi maar erg benauwd. Eigenaar gaf aan er wel mee bezig te zijn. Er zat een soort plastic hoes om de matras wat vast hygiënisch was maar wij bleven er door het laken heen aan plakken.

Fair accommodation in heart of Haarlem

Location and interior are amazing. Very eclectic with great details. Stone throw from the cozy and historic city center. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars

Floor was dusty (noticeable on our luggage), glass shower screen and mirror were dirty. Unfortunately accommodation doesn’t have a mini fridge or airco (recommended in summer time)

Great location, stylish room

Great location. Our room was stylish, spacious and bright, overlooking the street. The bed was very comfortable and the settee and table a welcome alternative to sitting on the bed. The bathroom was large with a lovely bath and rain shower.

Some hooks to hang coats would have been handy - we had a lot of rain during our stay. We had a blocked sink that we reported twice, but wasn't rectified. Under the bed needed attention - there was a thick layer of dust.

Ouderwets waar voor je geld. Het was een feestje!

Wat een fijne ontvangst! Dit is zo'n plek waar je ouderwets welkom wordt geheten en ook dat gevoel tijdens het gehele verblijft houdt Leuke ingerichte kamer, fijne badkamer en fijn bed, een zitje én midden in de stad! In de ochtend een vers fijn ontbijt waar echt niks ontbreekt. Zeer zeker komen we een keertje terug, dank mensen!

Misschien een klein ijskastje op de kamer?

Locatie was top! Jacques was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt heerlijk. Vers brood, croissantje, beleg en ei naar keuze. Kamer ruim en heel fijn met apart toilet.

Andere heer bij de receptie beetje eigenaardig en nors. Schoonmaak kan veel beter heel erg stoffig op de kamer en veel kalkaanslag en schimmel in de kitranden in de badkamer. Prijs-kwaliteit klopte niet echt …€448,- voor 2 nachten incl. ontbijt en toeristenbelasting is echt teveel voor dit hotel. Snap ook niet waarom het 4* heeft.

Overall a pleasant stay and highly recommended to experience it yourself.

The overall appearance of the establishment gave a warm, comfortable (literally) home feeling. The bed was firm and comfortable and the owners/staff were informal but certainly correct, very pleasant to deal with. Overall a pleasant stay and highly recommended to experience it yourself.

I only missed a chair in the room to make it easier to put on my shoes. small detail.

Great value in Haarlem

We had a very large room with a gigantic bed. It was very quiet and restful. Haarlem is a beautiful city, and after several days in busy Amsterdam, a welcome change of pace. We even extended our stay by an extra day. Be sure to get the breakfast - it was fantastic.

The only thing I could possibly complain about is that the restaurant isn't open for dinner. After the great breakfast, I'm sure an evening meal would be just as delicious.

If one is visiting this town, I would highly recommend staying there. It has a wonderful charm and a perfect location.

I’ll definitely repeat as soon as I go back to Haarlem.

The service, the quietness and the decoration awesome.

No room service. We only stood for two nights but bed was undone and towels unchanged.

staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. location was perfect

No air-con, although a fan was provided. Kettle was absent from the room. Feels more like a restaurant with rooms rather than a boutique hotel with a restaurant

Quirky hotel in good location but needs a few improvements

Great location,

The room was badly overlooked by other rooms so you could not open the very heavy velvet curtains so the room was always dark and you needed to have the lights on. Also, the hotel is quite noisy as it is all wooden floors and stairs and you could hear every movement of the other guests, especially in the room above.

Great place to end our week long vacation.

I liked the fact that it wasn't the typical hotel room. Lots of fun and good vibes in the hotel. Everyone was nice. Rooms were fun and loved the fact I could take a bath in the morning before my long flight home.

The stairs but there is nothing you can do about that.

Highly recommend this gem!

This is a great property. Unique in its design and renovation. great colors and chandeliers. Even the staircases and way the room locations are labeled. Really liked it at MAF. Great find. oh- the staff is lovely. I only interacted with two members, primarily the young woman at the front desk but she was so friendly and helpful that I would assume the entire staff is as lovely. Our room was large and comfy. We slept very well. The bathroom is nice as well!

Great shower, comfy bed, perfect location. A very cool place.

The bathroom was fabulous especially the walk in shower. Bed super comfy. Friendly staff. Cool vibe. Excellent towels, big and soft. Lovely toiletries (I,m going to buy some for home).

My room (204) was on top floor with exposed roof beams which meant I could hear the wind whipping around. It was quite loud. Strange vibe.

Great location. Lovely decor. Lovely staff. Great old building. Warm floors.

Room was too hot at night even with aircon turned down so we had to leave the window open but it was a wild night so the window rattled all night and we got cold. Bed wasn't very comfortable.
