Disappointing for a 5* hotel ; overpriced!!!

Nice location

The King room with terrace was rather tiny. The staff at reception had all the time to explain tourists where to go, what to see, even whilst there was a long queue to check-in or out.

Immaculate hotel with amazing staff throughout

Car parking below was ample, but with 3 zones at different rates with different payment methods, was confusing & expensive. Hotel should Madjeski clear which. & how to use

Sammantaget ett bra hotell som levererar vad som förväntas, utan att överträffa.

Frukostbuffén var bra och välfylld. Enkel och prisvärd hantering av bilen, smidigt! Bra rhythm i baren på översta våningen på lördagen. Rummen är fräscha och rymliga.

Vid presentation av frukost hänvisas till buffé, saknade en ala-carte meny och personalen hade ingen tydlig dresscode. Tilldelades handikaprum, vilket i sak inte ger några mervärden för den som inte bokat det.

Excellent and if we come back we will definitely be coming back to the Edition Hotel.

Location and staff at the property were brilliant. Excellent service throughout.

Breakfast at the hotel was very expensive. We were also told at reception that our children could use the spa facilities but when we arrived at the spa we were told differently which was a little disappointing. Minor point! The hotel was brilliant overall.

Beautiful, modern, well designed property

Super modern, simple and Scandinavian in design. Loved it.

I guess it was pushing the boundary cost-wise, but that the world we live in now.

Mom/Daughter Best trip ever

We needed to relocate due to Volcano and honestly it was the best thing in hindsight. Top notch hotel in middle of everything.

Very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend to friends.

Location. Staff were amazing. Lobby, bar and restaurant were stunning. Excellent spa. Great valet service.

Room was a little small, no slippers provided, also no bath tub.

This hotel is not what seems to be.

The location and some staff from de bar in the main lobby.

The room does not have the view that is on the photo on the website, it is misleading…I booked a room based on the photo and they gave me other one. Breakfast doesn't respect the schedule, on the first day they asked us to leave because they had to set the tables for lunch... and we hadn't finished breakfast yet... on the second day they changed the breakfast time without prior notice and were rude, they put us with other people at the bar because they were already setting up the tables for brunch, absurd. We were there to relax and have good moments because was New Years Eve and it was a real stress. The roof top staff was a little arrogant. At the end of the stay they charged me twice for the role stay and it was very unpleasant having to wait for the money to be returned.

Fabulously welcoming!

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming - the hospitality and service was amazing and we couldn’t believe how consistently this was demonstrated in all staff. Spa was beautiful and the room wonderful.

Nothing to comment on here.

Amazing stay in Reykjavik at a gorgeous modern hotel

We had an amazing stay at the Edition. We were celebrating our recent marraige and my husbands 50th birthday. They gave us complimentary Champagne which was a lovely bonus and also organised all our excursions for us. Highly recommend staying at the Edition Reykjavik.

The Loft Room is simplistic with full window occupying one whole side, a novel idea had it not been located directly opposite another building (less than 50 meters away).

Lovely setting and we enjoyed the stay. And the staff went out of their way on every occasion. But the systems aren’t in

Door knob on floor of bathroom. Heard other guests having lack of water pressure and heat. Website and room TV states spa is included but spa said they changed and wanted to charge for that. Attendant was very professional about it and waived the fee. He shouldn’t have been put in that position. False advertising. But he handled it beautifully.

I would come back again but double check any bookings to the rooftop bar few days in advance.

The room with terrace had great views, attention to detail with finishes were second to none. Very upmarket experience and what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. The breakfast had a large spread that would be suited for any one. The lobby bar had a great relaxing atmosphere.

We booked the rooftop bar weeks in advance. When we got to check in and confirmed, they weren’t aware of our reservation and quoted a private event had superseded our reservation and others. We were offered free drinks, a bottle of fizz and a slice of cake as a goodwill which made up for it but I would rather someone told me in advance so we could have made alternative plans.

Perfect in every way!

The breakfast was phenomenal! We aren't normally breakfast people and we were up every morning for the buffet! They did a wonderful job and it was well stocked with delicious items. The room was small, but the beds were very comfortable. We had 4 in our double queen room. It would have been fine for 2 people. Bathroom was a good size and the shower amenities were very nice.

Construction was right outside, but even that wasn't too loud. We were on the second floor and it was literally right outside our window and wasn't an issue. We weren't sleeping late either, but wasn't a problem. We even napped one day. Perfect location to get around downtown. Just outside the hustle and bustle so quiet and yet accessible to it all.

Very good

Customer Service (especially Samantha in Info desk) was excellent! She managed booking for Blue lagoon visit and also gave valuable proposals for dinner place. 10/10 points for her:)

Although I mentioned already in booking phase that this will be our honeymoon journey and it would be so nice to have it somehow recognized also by hotel personnel, there was nothing! That was a bit shame.
