Great location, superb host, highly recommend it

I chose Molly's hostel to unwind in the peaceful, green surroundings of South Cliff, and it was exactly what I needed! Molly, the host, was incredibly friendly and helped me discover some amazing cafes and effortlessly arrange a bike rental. She even let me check in early, which was a huge bonus. The atmosphere at the hostel was vibrant—I met interesting people, enjoyed fun games, and had an absolute blast. Sheru, the adorable dog, added to the charm of the place! Overall, my stay at Molly's hostel was fantastic, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Great stay by the south cliff

Great location in a quiet area if Varkala by the south cliff. Rooms are comfortable, clean, common areas are great and the staff is very nice and helpful. Great masala dosa also!

Nice location just outside busy Varkala beach

Location, clean, spacious rooms

Just next to mosque. All the paperwork to fill in before arriving. No hot water.

Nice stay far from the party area

Nice calm location very close to the beach. The staff is nice and helpfull. We didn’t spend so much time there

The room is very humid, so the smell very strong. Bed linen were already used or not cleaned properly.

AMAZING STAFF

The staff were amazing and tried to make the holiday celebration extra special. The food is very good. Everyone was very helpful with payment and arranging train tickets. Very close to beach access.

The room I was in had only a fan and it got very hot! It would of been nice bro have mosquito nets covering the beds, so you could keep the door open.

Relaxing and fun

Molly and the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect with only a few minutes walk to the beach and cafes close by with beautiful views of the ocean. They also hold fun workshops at the hostel such as dance classes etc which is a great opportunity to meet new people and learn new moves! Not to mention the food is YUMMY at the hostel!

Great place to relax and meet new people

Molly's hostel is a nice little place nested away from the bustling part of Varkala, and it really exceptional. Molly and Gokul were fantastic hosts, and even helped us plan our itineraries for the time we were there. It had a great vibe overall and personally, having met so many amazing people on this trip, made my stay at Molly's amazing. The facilities are excellent and the food is good. I know where I'm coming the next time I am in Varkala!

Beautiful, spacious and quite Hostel with great staff

I loved Mollys 😍 The place is amazing! Super clean and spacious. What makes the place special is the staff! They are so sweet and helpful. The garden is really beautiful and it feels super quiet and peaceful. A great Plus is all the common areas and the clean & chic look of the Hostel. Overall a great stay if you are looking for a quiet place with a lot of space and amazing people.

As I don’t drive a scooter I felt like I was a little too far from the main part of Varkala but i think for most people it wouldn’t be a problem. The other thing was that the dorm was really hot at night. The fan was on but we slept with an open door. Maybe that can be fixed somehow?

Away from the crowds

Awesome location, very peaceful. In the middle of the woods, away from the busy part of the town. A five min walk to the South Cliff and Varkala beach. Food was good, the local staff is super friendly. Molly manages the property very well.

The only minor thing is phone network and wifi network is just okay. Plus there are frequent power cuts across Varkala. That won’t be a problem though if you’re not planning to work.

Molly's hostel is a calm, quiet and peaceful place. The garden outside is quite spacious and there's a hammock where one can relax and read a good book in the midst of nature. Awesome food and comfortable rooms to stay.

Just fabulous and memorable

Molly went the extra mile to ensure to ensure my stay was comfortable. They went to the extending occupancy loss to make accommodation available for me, which rarely happens. Molly's will always have a special place in my heart for times to come.

I liked the location of the hostel it was close to south Varkala Beach and the rooms were cleaner + they have Ac dormitory rooms.

Nothing, just the food that which we buy from them is quite pricy.

Amazing n Perfect place to stay.

First of all the hosts are really good and helpful. They will suggest/arrange or get the information n everything you need, very friendly and helpful hosts. The place is really really beautiful, very calm and peaceful and also close to the beach. The side of the beach where there is less crowd. The place has all sorts of games, a common space to work or play or chill. Place has greens all over and very calm environment. Perfect place to stay.

The place is located near beach which was quite good

No one mentioned there is a masjid behind the hostel which will play azaan at 5AM for continuously 1 hr same things happens throughout the day we were not able to work plus WiFi was not good the place is situated far from shops so for lunch you need to go too far
