Door keypad so key collection not required. Central location, close to amenities and only 10 minutes walk from the station. Quality of the property exceeded expectations, decor is fabulous, welcome goody bag was just an extra additional joy!
Absolutely nothing - it was perfect!

Great location
The third bedroom was very small for two people and the second bathroom next to the kitchen although very nice wasn’t idle.

Beautifully and and furnished
No recycling bin.
Slightly further out of the centre than I thought

Really lovely house, decorated really nicely. Very comfy beds, sofas and luxury carpets in the bedrooms! Gorgeous outdoor area, would be great in the summer! So close to York town centre an train station (10 mins walk from both)

Very stylish but also very comfortable. Well equipped with everything you could need and a nice welcome hamper

Access was easy. Once inside, we were extremely pleased by the choice we had made.
Every room was very nicely decorated in a way that kept all the original features but incorporated modern items.
Everything you could possibly need was there, if you could not see it, it was sure to be in a draw.
Some very nice touches in every room.
There was no parking, but we knew this before we arrived.

Exceeded my expectations despite the brilliant reviews I’d read before booking. In a fabulous location around the corner from a handful of independent restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as being a short walk away from central York. The house is beautifully furnished, has gorgeous decor, is amazingly well equipped with everything you need (and more) and has a lovely sun terrace. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and we were greeted with a lovely little welcome hamper with all sorts of goodies. Staff very helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
It would be great if there were some patio slabs positioned to create a little path from the back door to the terrace.

This house is beautifully decorated in a modern colour scheme with an Industrail vibe. Its right near the centre and you can walki in every day. It has everything you need for your stay. The hamper that was provided was very nice. Beds are comfortable.
There should be a fan in every bedroom. The cleaner needs to pay more attention for cobwebs there are lots and to clean the velvet seats as they all had food on them. I have now cleaned them. The car park is £20 per day - it is very near. I think when you are paying a certain amount of money for a weekend you expect a certain service! I wanted a bunch of flowers delivered for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary - no help or advice was offered!!! We got a very nice hamper that we didnt want but they did not provide the things we did want. This house is managed by a big company which is a shame as you seem to have lost the PERSONAL SERVICE!!! VERY DISSAPOINTED!! Score would have been a 10 if the service had been better.

the property is stunning, every room felt welcoming and luxurious. Lots of thought and attention to detail had been given. Beds were super comfy and there were enough rooms, so that everyone was comfortable and could come together but also have their own space. Also facilities were outstanding from a gift pack to washing tablets, bath salts through to board games.
Somewhat minor but given family size home and kitchen is a nice size the one thing that is missing is a teapot and milk jug.

the property was beautifully decorated, lovely and warm on arrival. lots of supplies like toiletries, tea, coffee etc readily available. beds comfortable. loved wood burner. well appointed kitchen with lots of equipment. lots of great communal space. couldn’t use the lovely bar outside when we visited in December but it looked great.
could have done with more side lights in sitting room and dining room.

excellently situated for access to York, brilliant home with everything we needed.

The welcome package was indeed welcome, a very generous gesture.
If we had been staying longer 😊

The house was very clean, warm and comfortable. Very well equipped. Close to the centre of York and attractions. The little area close by was very useful with food shops, restaurants and a small supermarket.
It took 3 goes each time to operate the entry lock. Could have been us!
Shower slip mat in downstairs bathroom needs to be cleaned or replaced. No slipmat in upstairs bathroom. There didn't seem to be any tea towels.

House was beautifully decorated and they had thought about all the little extra you need while you're away

beautiful. great location. loads of space for the whole family to enjoy and relax
difficult to unload the car outside the house but not much that can be done given the parking restrictions. the car park along the road was ideal for parking.

Spacious characterful house, clean and tidy
No Parking, the late check in time, would of be nice to have a radio or TV in the kitchen dining area

central location, fabulous decor, spacious and comfortable
no parking but that didn’t spoil it at all

The accommodation is self-catering so we brought our own food. The hamper was a pleasant gift.
The house is very beautiful, lovely colours and objects all through. Work of talented interior designer with good taste. The kitchen offers everything you need, the only things we missed were a pastry brush and cheese slicer! Beds and sofas were comfortable. We used the nice breakfast room next to the kitchen for all meals. The weather during our three night stay was mainly rainy and dull at its best. It didn't matter too much because we really enjoyed this lovely house and its cosy, warm atmosphere. Only once we went out to eat; had a tasty dinner in a Greek restaurant.
Lack of parking means you have to leave the car in a public car park some 300-400 metres from the house and pay for it. However, it's possible to make a brief stop in front of the house on the double yellow lines to unload and load the luggage but please mind the heavy traffic. For people who have walking problems the distance to city centre may be too much. Taxi will cost some £5-6.
In the hallway there is no clothes rack or hooks for outdoor clothing, nor a tray or rack for outdoor shoes. We kept ours in the dining room. The same situation is in the upstairs main bathroom, where there are no hooks to hang your towels. The shower unit upstairs proved a bit complicated to use. Some instructions would be helpful. The bathroom behind kitchen was beautiful with a practical shower unit.
