Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Malika war eine tolle Gastgeberin, die einem Sri Lanka näher bringt. Die Atmosphäre war sehr familiär. Das singhalesische Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The family is very kind and willing to help you at all times. The location is very good. The bathroom is spectacular.
Unfortunately, the only window cannot be opened, so there is no exterior view in the smaller room. There is no proper table, and using a laptop comfortably is not possible. There is no support to place a small suitcase. I booked a room because of the WIFI rating, which is 10, but unfortunately, it is very unstable and weak. If you need a good and stable connection, this is not the place for you. Lastly, having to leave your key when going out, even if just for 5 minutes, is a bit inconvenient.

Встретила хозяйка отеля с влажным полотенцем для рук, принесла прохладный кокос, оформила, проводила в комнату.
Комната небольшая, но есть довольно просторный балкон с двумя креслами. Потолок в комнате очень высокий, поэтому было ощущение свободы. Кондиционер хороший, работает бесшумно. Постельное белье отличного качества, полотенца тоже отличные. Принадлежности для душа все есть. Душевая имеет красивый дизайн и в отличном состоянии.
Завтрак хозяйка предложила приготовить для меня, я попросила Ланкийский, было очень вкусно и по-домашнему.

On arrival ,Monica whos house this is had a warm greeting and a lovely juice and cold towel on hand to ease the heat of travel..Its a perfect location near to everything , old world charm and the feeling of being a welcome guest in ones home rather than a number in bland hotel..She is a charming hostess, clearly loves meeting people and helping them enjoy Galle in any way she can ..from calling Tuk Tuks to minding luggage after you check out and being on hand every minute to help in any way possible...and waving you good bye with a wonderful smile!

Останавливалась на 1 день после прилета на Шри Ланку рано утром, хотелось принять душ и выспаться. Но воды не было ЦЕЛЫЙ ДЕНЬ от слова совсем!!! Хозяйка сказала, что это во всём форте такая ситуация...Но похоже это частенько такое там...Тогда будьте добры номер за 40$ обеспечить хотябы ведром с водой, чтобы помыть руки и смыть унитаз! За стенкой стучали, видимо ремонт...толком так и не выспалась.

Everything was excellent especially the Aunty running the place. She was super helpful and kind. Made the stay homely. Breakfast is very filling, bed is super comfy and the balcony a cherry on top. Also the shower is fantastic. Highly recommend it.

Perfect place in the Galle Fort, close to everything and quiet neighbourhood. Really nice room and balcony, good beds and the nicest and cleanest bathroom. Delicious homemade breakfast. The nicest host Malika who did everything she could to make our stay perfect, including organzing tours.

Bed was comfortable and AC was good
WiFi was basically too weak to do more than check emails without attachments.
Shower drain was clogged up so bathroom would immediately flood
Fair amount of noise from phones downstairs
Rooms not cleaned.
Overall more of a Bed and Breakfast Homestay.
Breakfast was pretty disappointing compared to what average restaurants in the area offer

Очень радушные и внимательные хозяева. Пошли на встречу и сделали нам ранний заезд и поздний выезд, очень заботливая Хозяйка Малика, делала каждый день завтрак в удобное доя гас время. И даже внеплановую уборку сделали по нашей просьбе. За адекватные деньги очень удобно и уютно было, достаточно чисто. Расположение в форте пара минут от набережной. В целом все очень хорошо. Мы пересмотрели множество вариантов, либо это очень сильно дороже было в несколько раз. За такую стоимость это лучший вариант в форте.
Номер небольшой, нет мебели доя хранения вещей. Все хранили в чемоданах на балконе)))

Das Zeegolf ist im Galle Fort, alles war im Fort fußläufig zu erreichen. Als Begrüßung bekommt man eine King Coconut und einen feuchten Lappen, was sehr lieb ist.
Malika ist eine sehr liebe Frau. Sie war uns jedoch etwas zu präsent, beim Frühstück konnten wir nicht in Ruhe essen, da sie viel mit uns reden wollte, was wirklich liebt gemeint ist, aber einwenig Abstand und Privatsphäre ist auch schön. Wir haben ihr erzählt, dass wir einen Schmuckhändler suchten, da kam sie mit all ihrem Schmuck, den sie verkaufen wollte - wie gesagt, beim Frühstück unangepasst. Dann hatte sie rumtelefoniert und einen Freund gebeten vorbei zu kommen mit seinem Schmuck, das war uns echt zu viel. Sowas sollte vorher mit dem Gast abgesprochen werden. Alles eventuell nett gemeint oder auch einfach nur wegen der Provision die man immer erhält, aber es war zu viel. Den Schlüssel muss man immer beim Verlassen des Appartements abgeben und beim Wiederkommen abholen, kannten wir so nicht. Du musst auch direkt beim Check In schon bezahlen, auch nur Bar möglich, das fand ich überhaupt nicht sympathisch und kannten wir so auch nicht. Die eigentlichen Inhaber, die wohl als Schwester vorgestellt werden und der Mann waren nicht sehr freundlich.

Duidelijk recent gerenoveerd.
De kamer mist een koelkast/minibar + koffie en thee faciliteiten. Dit zou de kamer echt top maken.

The room was very clean, very comfortable! The whole hotel is under an excellent management. Thank you for manager Mallika I had a wonderful stay in Galle! She's a good manager, good friend, and good mentor. Definitely worthy for long staying, and I will definitely come back.

Perfect location in the, heart of beautiful Galle.
We felt. completely at home in this lovely family run hotel. Malika welcomed, us warmly with cold coconut juice. Her breakfasts were copious and delicious. We appreciated too the complimentary bottle of water given to us each day.
Our room was not very big but very nice. Wonderful bed and pillows. The bathroom was by far the nicest we've had in Sri Lanka.
Our stay here was especially enjoyable due to the kindness and friendliness of Malika who is a perfect and very professional host.

Upgraded Bathroom, including superb shower and plentiful toiletries. Excellent breakfast and staff always on demand. Wifi was very slow on arrival but I just had to make a phone call and it was sorted. Very comforable bed.
Was in a double room but it would be a tight squeeze for two people. Bed dominates the room and not much space for anything else.

The best thing about the whole stay was the lady owner who took incredible care of us. The breakfasts were fantastic, we even got my favorite hoppers!
We had a "Superior" room with a balcony. This room is simply but stylishly furnished. It has a huge beautiful balcony facing the street, but we didn't make much use of it because of the mosquitoes.
Everything was perfectly clean. The owner really takes great care of her guesthouse.
The room is quite small.

A very warm welcome from Monica the owner of the accommodation. The location was perfect and within a 2 minute walking distance to the fort wall, the sea and many shops / restaurants.
The room had air conditioning and was very clean. Monica ensured our stay was comfortable and offered extra services such as push bike hire and laundry.
The wifi wasn’t the strongest but still manageable.

Location. Friendly staff
Its a boutique hotel, owned by a family. When we went there, there was a water shortage happening for about 3 days, apparently affecting the area within the hotel. Since its a small hotel, it took time for water tank to fill up leaving us with no water. This may be improved as Sri Lanka economy is getting better. The bedsheets were rather thin. No tv.

The owner is friendly. She welcomed us with 2 coconuts which we really appreciated.
Our room smelled very bad and without exterior windows so we couldn’t refresh the room.
The room was very tiny, no place for our luggages.
During the night we were woke up at 3am because of 3 mosquitos.
In the bathroom we discovered a uge cockroach alive.
I think the price of the room is too expensive for the quality of the room.

The place was immaculate - so clean and perfectly kept.

It was just like in the photos and description. Mallika is exceptional with her guests and welcomed us warmly with a little chat, towels to refresh after the journey and a home made welcome drink. Such a charming place, very clean and comfortable and in a lane that is not too noisy with ample parking on the street. Everything was so good, clean and well maintained. Loved the balcony view and seating. Highly recommend the balcony room with a canopy bed if that is available. We will be back for sure. Thank you!

Easily one of the best places I've stayed. Located in a less crowded lane in Galle Fort, yet this place has quick access to all the places you wish to travel within Galle fort. Clean and comfortable rooms. Special thanks to Ms. Mallika for hospitality and run down memory lane of Galle Fort.

Zee Golf is steps away from the best view in Galle Fort. This hotel is centrally located between the light house and the clock tower. You can park your car and walk everywhere. Very close to restaurants. They also have a welcome drink that is delicious.

The building and the rooms are completely new, therefore everything is neat and has a temporary style. I don’t think you can get a better room for this price rate. Marika the hotel owner, will make sure that you will have a pleasant stay. I absolutely recommend this hotel and wish Marika all the best for her future.
