Staff at reception welcoming, informative & friendly. Great service & also great recommendations of barbershop and close amenities. Room was very spacious for our family. Clean and comfortable. Great and friendly cleaning staff too. Accessibility and car park was great. We could see our car from our room - very well lit area. Thanks team 👍

Visiting my kids and grandkids ands has my 11 week old grandson with me at the hotel

Great location and very clean and big rooms This was my second stay there and probably more stays in the next months coming

Très bien pour un court séjour

La douche est très belle propre et grande . La literie est bonne. Le prix est très correct. Le concierge est très accueillant.

Plusieurs dégradations viennent gâcher la chambre ( trous dans les murs , table de salle à manger toute branlante) . Le quartier dans lequel se trouve le motel est bruyant .

Always a pleasure

Great value for money. Awesome vegetarian Indian Restaurant across the way. Always lovely and helpful on the desk> As a woman travelling alone I appreciate the security of the building.

Saubere Unterkunft in sehr belebter Gegend mit geräumigen Zimmern

Der Empfang durch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, die Betten bequem. Die Ausstattung mit Klimaanlage, Küchenzeile und Kühlschrank war gut. Die Lage der Unterkunft war in einer sehr belebten Gegend, das heißt kurze Wege zum Einkaufen und zu Restaurants, aber auch laut, viele Menschen und Autos.

Was worth the money and location is great.

location was good close to the places we needed to get too.

We couldn't really feel the air con in the room, and taking the key card when someone leaves the room, so there were times where I was in the dark when my husband had to leave the room.

Property is in a rough area. The receptionist locked himself in his office. Rowdy guests woke us up at 3am. No TV Channels on the TV

Good place to stay, not far from the airport

Easy communication for late check in and self check out. Really spacious room, nice modern bathroom and kitchenette.

Little noisy due to location, but there was a function on, so may not be all the time.

It was lovely staying at bakers lodge but was bit expensive for the one night stay. Other wise everythibg was really fin

It was a good stay apart from a few minor defects.

Friendly host, easy access and location. The rooms were quite modern, assuming it was built/refurbished in the last few years. Modern fire alarm system and passive fire protection system (fire rated walls, doors, compartments) installed.

We can smell stinky feet/fish in the room on arrival. Once the heatpump was on, we can smell the 'dirty sock syndrome', so we ended up turning it off. The extraction fan in the bathroom is not working properly and the toilet was leaking. We were on upper level, there were a mixture of old and new outdoor heatpump units installed on the external wall by our windows. Since we haven't got the heatpump on, it was a hot night and we decided to leave the windows open, but we can hear the compressors turning on and off in regular intervals. Overall it was a good stay but we would recommend the host/owner to get the carpet and the heatpump cleaned annually to avoid these minor defects.

This is a hidden gem in what looks to be a soon up and coming area. Cost effective.

Large rooms, modern and definitely aiming for the 4-5 star rating. the kitchenette is new, as is the bathroom, and there is a large walk-in robe. huge bed, lots of space. The rooms are accessible too for the most part. Great location - close to shops. Don't be put off by the location. It's not as noisy as the area suggests, and you will definitely have a good night's sleep. If you are a foodie - you are spoilt for choice. Good spot for the business traveller.

There was nothing really wrong, even though the rooms are obviously in the middle of refurbishment. The ground floor is accessible which is great, but the bathroom is not (not a person problem for me but would be for someone with mobility issues). TV was connected to Netflix only. Could do with a bit of thought around the room layout, with so much space. There needs to be a privacy wall between the door and the bed - which will drown out the noise / light and also give better access - curtains are a bit cumbersome. Needs to have some door covering for rain. No parking, and GPS sends to wrong part of street (which is a dead end).

Nice comfortable and hassle free accommodation with easy access to eateries. Comfortable beds and ample space for kids.

Nice, clean and spacious. Loved the super clean shower. Hassle free check out. Lodge itself is tucked away so it took a few drives around the block to find. It’s very handy walking distance to eateries and shopping.

spacious and clean. the tv had sky and Netflix which was awesome. comfortable room and good value for money. the bathroom/shower was also clean & spacious. It has a good location for the Papatoetoe area and local eateries depending on your preference it is predominately Indian cuisine around the vicinity. free carpark. clean and nice smelling foyer area which was pleasant when you walk in/up the stairs and into the area of which the rooms are located.

location can be hard to find especially as the area is quite busy with local businesses. there is a restaurant/supermarket next to it so depending if there’s an event the carpark can fill up. do note there is a bond that’s charged up front of $150. there are some hidden costs ie. reception/front desk is only open certain hours so if you need them after hours you will be charged & if you lock your room from the inside it can lock you outside and you may be charged extra if locked out after hours - this was explained to me at check-in but it made be anxious

it was immaculately clean. I love thé kitchenette. Thé private geothermal hot tub was to die for and the staff were all delightful.
