“GEM” at Barefoot Bungalows is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, fully furnished villa just minute walk to the beach! This 1945 Triplex beach cottage offers the comforts of home with the location of a beach getaway. “Gem” is located on the second floor with stairs to the unit. Gem has a large balcony with a sliver of a view and an exterior table with 4 chairs on balcony. The master bedroom has a king bed with glass sliding doors to balcony and 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. With the additional air mattress which can be used if needed. This this two bedroom villa can sleep 4 and up to 6 guests tight. There is a small breakfast table with 2 chairs and a kitchen bar with 3 stools. Flat Screen TV, Wifi and large shower/tub bathroom. The full kitchen is stocked with appliances, and dishware for 6 guests. The full kitchen includes a standard fridge, full stove/oven, microwave, Keurig Coffee maker, and cooking utensils for 6 guests. No dishwasher in GEM. Dishware / cooking pots/pans for 6 guest provided for the days you plan to dine in. Simple and beachy theme with all the basic comforts of home. All linens provided along with 6 complete sets of plush towels plus extra, as needed, by request. Welcome toiletries to include paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, dish liquid, sponge, kitchen towel, razor, trash liners, and lotion. Clean and Comfy. Lots of lil amenities added.

There are stairs to the unit in the back of complex and its the entire second floor. No car needed as Beach Access #3 located to the right and beach access #2 located to left (both just few steps away). For your beach needs, 4 beach chairs and 4 beach towels will be provided. Spend a week or reserve a month and you won’t be disappointed. Park BBQ grill added to the complex and each unit has exterior seating. Complex does have a courtesy washer/dryer located on the first level by walkway at no charge for easy use for all guests. Keyless entry and concierge service to handle most requests. Parking spot is marked and one vehicle per unit. (2 small cars if tandem parked is allowed) Pictures updated July 2023. Siesta Key Village is walking distance 2 blocks from the door. Recently added 10 foot privacy wall to extend more privacy and quiet throughout the property. We are snuggled between newer buildings and yet extremely close to the beach for the value price per night. Full 2 bedroom 1 bath home great for 30 day stays or longer during off season.

This 1945 Triplex - Barefoot Bungalows offers a such great value with a location so close to the beach. Walk to the Village and to the beach and no car is needed for short 3-5 day trips.

Washer / Dryer located on first floor for complex and no charge for guest.

Beach chairs, Beach Wagon, Umbrella, Beach Towels and even few beach toys for the kiddos to enjoy!

The two bedroom bungalow was very homie, had everything ready for our stay. Is a little old of a place but the up keep and decor made it feel like you were home. We had a pretty good storm while there and the property manager was in contact with us the whole time was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to the water and just a block away from the village. Loved our stay.

Property was as advertised and we were happy with the location. Only issue was location of next door property and the loudness of their gatherings on 3 occasions. I had to call sheriff 3 occasions to go and ask them to lower voices directly under our bedroom windows at 1:20 AM being the latest. Our host Lisa was very responsive and helpful.

We have not a bad thing to say about our stay. Lisa did everything and more to make us feel welcome. When you walk in to a bouquet of flower, box of candy, someone cares. The pictures are just what you have to make your trip enjoyable. Kitchen has a variety of pots and pan. Nice supply of bathroom towels, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon. We liked it so much that after 2 days I rebooked for 2025!

We were concerned about wifi before renting because we work part of the day. Lisa reassured us that she has a hotspot that is in all of her condos for us to use. That worked great during our stay and we didn't have any issues. The condo is well setup and so conveniently located. It is very close to the beach and town. We walked to all restaurants that we ate at. We would definitely stay here again and have told friends about this great condo.

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay. It’s in an excellent location. The beach is literally just around the corner (you can see it from the deck between two buildings, not the best view but very close). It was exactly what we we looking for, close to the beach and Siesta Key Village. Just 10 minutes or less to walk to the main strip where the restaurants and shops are. If you were so inclined, you could park your car and never need to move it for your entire stay. The unit had everything we needed for the week we were there, utensils, cookware, towels, beach chairs and even a beach cart! Is it a luxury suite, no. But it was very clean and well supplied. If you’re looking for a place within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops, and won’t break the bank, it’s perfect. We WILL be back to this unit (although probably one of the bottom units next time, just to avoid the stairs). I’d give it an A+

Had a wonderful time for a short getaway. Everything for a beach vacation was provided. Nice beach chairs, umbrella and big beach wagon was great to have. Comfortable beds and very clean. Will return on next trip to Siesta Key. Village is so close never used our. car.

The team that assisted with the stay did a good job, they provided a cooler, chairs, umbrella, beach wagon, towels and fresh flowers. I had no complaints with them. The condo itself needs work. There was a major ant problem. One day we left a box of donuts we had gotten for breakfast on the counter (we closed the box as well) and we returned there were ants all in the box crawling on the food. The ants were on us in the living room as we sat on the couch as well. The cups, plates and silverware were dirty. The steps up to the second floor were outside on a deck and we are pretty sure they were not connected to the house itself. They would sway back and forth, I am pretty sure they wouldn’t pass a state inspection. A lot of things were very beat up and needed to be replaced. Lastly, I am allergic to mold and dust, one of those things was in that condo and caused me to have a pretty severe reaction. I would sneeze, have itchy watery eyes and drainage; but then we would leave for a hour and my symptoms were better. If we were out all day my symptoms got drastically better, but then within a hour of return to the condo my symptoms would be back. I would not recommend a stay here until some major issued are addressed.

We’ve been coming to Siesta key for 17 years and this is the best location we’ve stayed so far! Less than 5 minute walk to the beach AND the village! Lisa responds immediately to any questions/concerns. Free washer and dryer on the property is a big plus. Keep in mind that there is no dishwasher, which in our case was not a biggy;) Internet is not particularly fast which for us wasn’t an issue but something to keep in mind. Overall , great vacation- enjoyed by all!

Cute little condo in a convenient location just steps away from the beach. There were a few minor things like the burners not fitting the stove, the microwave not working, dryer not working, and lots of ants throughout the house. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The new construction condos blocking the beach view is a bummer, but walking to the beach only takes 2 minutes. Great cozy place for a small family. Walking distance to everything from the grocery store to all the night-life restaurants/bars. I would definitely book it again.

We loved staying here for our mini beach vacation. The location is nestled right between the shops restaurant and beach access. The construction right next to it was not ideal but we knew it was there and it wasnt noticeable if you were inside. We would definintely stay here again!

Fabulous location. Short walk to center of town and Beaches. Fully equipped home with everything. Very clean. As indicated there is construction was a little surprised to see that it 2 massive buildings that essentially blocked view. So if you are expecting to sit out on the deck to see some sort of view it’s not that kind of home. As stated location is the reason you will want to stay here. Overall excellent home that I would recommend.

We enjoyed our Siesta Key vacation. The proximity to the village and beach are definite pluses of the bungalow. Due to the construction of two large buildings on both the side and back of this rental it wasn't really enjoyable using the deck area. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the king mattress is in very bad shape. The unit is super clean but could use updating, such as adding drawer pulls and handles to kitchen cupboards and replacing flooring that was pulling up. We love Siesta Key but would not likely rent here in the future.

The unit was very clean and well-stocked with towels, soaps, and sheets. The proximity to the beach is a PLUS! We had an easy time finding the unit, getting in, and communicating with the owner. We wished for a dishwasher and a newer and former king mattress. We loved Siesta Key!
