About this house rental
Sunrise is a truly magnificent property set at the top of Pendine Hill overlooking the famous 7-mile golden sands of Pendine. This luxurious property has been newly built to very high specifications and designed with sea view rooms and large balconies, which stretch across the width of the house on each floor. The property takes full advantage of the uninterrupted views of the sands and further across Carmarthen Bay to the Gower peninsula.
To maximise the wonderful view, the property interior has been designed upside down.
The ground floor welcomes 4 luxurious King size bedrooms, a fully fitted laundry room, with washing machine and tumble drier, and, a family bathroom with a walk in shower, WC, vanity unit and large Hollywood mirror. The semi-sunken bath is set beside a large picture window taking advantage of the wonderful sea view.
On entering into the large hallway you will immediately feel the opulence of the property with modern composite, underheated flooring which extends throughout and exquisite minimalist furnishings and fittings.
The 1st sea view master ensuite bedroom on this floor is known as the ‘Glamorous Room’. Its sumptuous bed has a 70” velvet headboard and matching ottoman at its foot. You can take advantage of the moveable studio lighting set over the bed and also the smart TV from the comfort of your bed. The large ensuite has a waterfall shower and a vanity unit with large Hollywood mirror. You can open the patio doors to the very large porcelain tiled balcony equipped with 4 sun loungers with side tables.
On the other end of this balcony is a 6-seater sunken hot tub with, lighting and a waterfall feature, and a timed heater set on the wall for your comfort.
The patio doors on this side of the balcony lead you into the 2nd sea view master bedroom, with ensuite shower room. This monochrome room is known as the ‘Hot Tub Room’ and has another sumptuous bed with oversized headboard, 42” smart TV, and tasteful white furnishings.
The 2 further downstairs bedrooms, known as the Coastal Room and the Botanical Room are home to similarly sumptuous beds and have been tastefully finished to a very high standard. These rooms are served by the family bathroom on this floor.
Leading to the upper floor of the house is a magnificent floating oak and glass staircase with a huge picture window on the half-landing and complimented with a modern and contemporary LED chandelier. The stairs lead to a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room stretching across the full width of the house and has 2 large bi-fold doors opening out onto the upper balcony with magnificent panoramic sea views. If you really need to catch up on work whilst taking your vacation, there could be nowhere better to do it than the unique and stunning office at the top of the stairs. This acoustic and soundproofed office is a fully glazed cube, thereby taking full advantage of the light and views from its modern desk.
The fully fitted designer kitchen has a large central island with seating for 4 and a 5-ring induction hob built into its porcelain top. All appliances are top quality with 2 Smeg ovens and microwave/grills, dishwasher and large American stye fridge with water cooler.
The stylish dining area is set between the kitchen and lounge area and has an oak table with plush seating for 10 with designer warehouse style lighting overhead. Complimenting this area is a stunning cocktail cabinet with mirror backed shelves and internal lighting. Beneath this cabinet are two fitted wine fridges and racks for all your refreshment needs.
The living area has 2 large comfy sofas with a 65” TV and soundbar. Additional comfy chairs are placed by the large glass doors so that you can just relax looking out to sea.
The balcony on this level has rattan dining furniture and additional relaxing chairs. Both balconies have outside internet connection, mood lighting and outside plug sockets. Both balconies are surrounded by glass panels to enable you to take full advantage of the wonderful views.
If you need more of an escape, you will find an amazing cinema room with a magnificent 75” TV set off from the living area. It has comfy seating, a feature oak panel and hidden mood lighting overhead.
A fifth bedroom is to be found leading from the hallway with four single beds set under a vaulted ceiling with a velux window with countryside views. (There are toddler guards available for both sides of one of these beds if necessary).
An additional shower room is also to be found on this upper level.
The property is fitted with solar panels and a sustainable heating system that is fully controllable, within each individual room, and also by a central iPad located in the living room. This iPad also controls the mood lighting, the towel radiators, the heating, the music and the lounge TV soundbar. All of the TV’s in the house are wired into commercial wi-fi hub for unbuffered access to Netfix/Amazon streaming.
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this property at this time, due to the very high quality of furnishings and finishes.
The large driveway can accommodate approx. 6 cars and there is additional parking on the roadside.
Pendine Sands and its fabulous 7-mile sandy beach is a very popular town and holiday resort and in recent years has benefited from a multi-million- pound regeneration. There is a very nice new promenade giving access to the beach with cafes and shops and kayak hire. It is most famous for many attempts at land speed record breaking attempts, by car, bicycle and even sheds and lawnmowers, but most famous for Malcolm Campbell’s world land speed record in ‘Blue Bird’ in 1924 and J Parry-Jones’ fatal attempt to beat it in ‘Babs’ in1927.
Pendine is just 15 miles from the popular seaside resort of Tenby, with its historic walled town and harbour and award-winning beaches and just a few miles from Laugharne a unique and beautiful town where Dylan Thomas lived for the last four years of his life and wrote many of his major pieces. There you can visit the Boathouse, the building which is most closely associated with him, and Brown’s his ‘watering hole’, which was owned by Neil Morrissey until quite recently. Keeping Faith was recently filmed in Laugharne and much of the filming took place on Pendine Sands.
If it’s a family holiday you are looking for there are many children’s attractions all within a 30 minute drive from the property including Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm , Manor House Wildlife park, Heatherton World of Adventures and The Dinosaur Park making Sunrise the ideal base destination for your family holiday.
There is a highly appraised outdoor adventure centre and also horse riding available nearby.

I had a great time with my family at this wonderful property. The location to the beach was good but you need a car unless you enjoy walking up a very steep hill. This did not stop our fantastic experience. We would strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing time with great views of the sea.
