Welcome home to your next lakefront adventure, where everything you need for an expedition is already provided. Feel free to pack light as you'll have access to a canoe, two stand-up paddleboards, two adult kayaks, and one child-size kayak. On-site, you will also find life vests available for your safety. With ample space for a large group or multigenerational family, a game room with full-size game tables, and even an old-fashioned record player, this two-level home can serve as a private resort for your next getaway. Dogs are welcome, so nobody gets left behind, and your furry companions will love having a private beach to traverse. Once you've stocked the kitchens, the group chefs will have no trouble preparing the family meals, and with two full kitchens, there will be no need for disputes over what to make - spices supplied! If you prefer to host a cookout, use the private gas grill and dine al fresco on the oversized furnished deck or covered patio. After a long day of lakeside entertainment, come back to the main living area, stream YouTube TV on the wall-mounted flatscreen, or host a friendly gaming tournament on the pool or foosball tables. The younger kids can amuse themselves with the home's toys and children's books.
Lake views greet you from across the room the moment you enter the home. The picture windows and deck-access sliding glass doors light the giant open living area, where you'll also find a dining table for six and a well-equipped kitchen with a six-seater breakfast bar. Just past the kitchen to the right is a set of two bedrooms - one with its own deck access - and a shared full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. On the other side of the home is the primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a work desk and chair, a reading nook, and an additional deck access door. Directly to the left of the front door is a staircase that leads to the bottom floor, where you'll find the laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, the game room and additional TV lounge area, and the second kitchen. Three sliding glass doors lead to the lower-level covered patio. The last two bedrooms are on the far side of the downstairs area, one of which has a patio door and the other four-sleeper bunk room.

Place and location are great! Dogs and kids had a fun time at the lake!

We had a beautiful and relaxing weekend at this lake house! The water was warm, but the setup was perfect for our two small boys and family dog. We roasted marshmallows, went paddle boarding, fished off the dock.. it was an excellent week away! Thank you for the lovely accommodations! There were a few items around the house that were broken (two chairs and a missing post in the balcony) but we informed the management company and they said they would be fixing those items!

We loved this house so much - we went with 4 couples and all of our kiddos. They had an awesome time swimming in the lake all day. It was great because it doesnt get too deep for a bit so parents get to sit back and relax. The house did not provide firewood so definitely bring some so you dont have to run out. This house had everything we needed and more. Thank you!

Great access to Anne Lake (on the ‘warmer’ side lake.

The house located in a beautiful location, very good lake view and access to lake. The property is well maintained and clean. It has good gaming options, lot of space, pre-filled with house supplies for the stay.
Give enough time to access to the Property.

My friends and I had a birthday retreat and we absolutely loved it. The house was super clean and had almost anything you could ask for. We were able to play on all of the paddle boards, kayaks and Canoe. We also all got to catch some fish right off the dock and soak up some sun on the private beach! The house is even better than the descriptions. We will definitely be looking to come back next year.

I rented this property for a long weekend to celebrate my husband’s 75th birthday with our 3 adult children, one of their spouses, and 3 grandchildren. It would have been a lovely spot, right on the lake, but for the fact that there is a construction site right next door with cement trucks, backhoes, and all the noise that goes along with it. It was very loud and a terrible eyesore. I would never have booked this property if I had known. I understand that the owners of this property cannot control the fact that a house is being built on the adjacent lot. I also understand that this property is an investment and the owners want to make money. But the fact that it was at my expense makes me extremely angry.
The set up of the house was lovely, but the level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I pulled a pot holder out of a kitchen drawer and it was caked with dried food. I left it on the counter when we left hoping that the next renter would not have to discover something so disgusting. We found plates and glasses in the cabinets that had been put away filthy. The kitchen cabinets and drawers in all of the bathroom are in dire need of a good wipe down. A few of the bedrooms have king size pillows that were stuffed into standard size pillowcases. It seems like whoever is in charge of housekeeping is doing a pretty bad job.
All in all, this was a very disappointing experience.

We had a very nice stay at this house during our spring break. I’m sure this is a great place to visit in the summer months! We were there very early spring so mostly rain, and a lot of things are not yet open this time of year yet. However, it was a pretty location and Great Lake house, we brought our own fun with the fam.

We had a really great time here. The home was clean and everything worked as expected. Everyone had fun taking the kayaks and canoe out on the lake. The living areas were very comfortable with plenty of seating for everyone. The downstairs area specifically was popular due to the pool table. Amber was very prompt and helpful addressing our issues/questions. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation by the lake.
Just 2 things to make note of, the mattresses on the bunk beds are definitely meant for children, they are very thin, however there was a few inflatable mattresses available so we made it work. Also, not a big deal, but we were unable to find the Keurig machine.

This house was AWESOME. Everything was in great condition, you got exactly what was advertised, and the host was readily available if you had any questions. Also none of that "deep clean our house before leaving" nonsense. It was all taken care of (though we did our best to make it clean before leaving) Thanks for a great stay ❤️

The setting, space and overall feel of the house was just what we were looking for.

Pros: This was a very nice family getaway spot. The house is very spacious inside and out. The downstairs is a great area for the kids to play and hangout at night. The outside area is spacious and being right on the lake was so easy to go for a swim or paddle on the boards/kayaks, and great for catching fish. Easy boat/jet ski dock access too. The view is beautiful. It is close proximity to the public beach on the cooler side of the lake, and it is close proximity to places like Busch gardens and some caverns and some cool city areas like Charlottesville.
Cons: the water is very warm on the private side of the lake, which isn’t the most refreshing on a hot summer day- the public beach is a close drive tho. The WiFi was spotty at night time. And the amount of spiders around the property was more then my liking.
Overall, the trip was wonderful. It is a great place to getaway and relax and be away from the hustle and bustle of life. I would recommend this location to friends in the future.

My friends and I just had an amazing getaway weekend in Bumpass! The house has any amenity you can dream. Perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends and family.

The house was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed and more. Incredible views of the lake from almost every room. Out stay was just a short weekend trip but still managed to catch a 4lb bass right of the dock.
We would love to come back and spend more time during the spring or summer.

The house was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We loved how open the main level was and all the windows brought so much natural light. Loved having the outdoor fire pit, beach area with chairs, the paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. The only improvement I can think of would be to add more outdoor lighting on the deck, and some of the lights on the dock were not working. Those are small fixes snd we will 100% be back.

We had a hard time checking in because we arrived early but the key code wasn't set for an early arrival. We were told we the house was ready for check in. It was a beautiful home and we had a fantastic time. I do feel the house could use a little TLC as far as the fixtures in the main bath were not on the wall properly. The screen door was broken we had 2 carpenters with us so they fixed that. Also, the TV downstairs kept losing its sound. Overall it was great and we would consider coming back. Thank you for sharing your home.

We had the best time. Accommodations were clean. Check in and check out were easy. The lake access is unbelievable.

The house was gorgeous and very spacious. My family had a fabulous time fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, shooting pool, and enjoying the fire pit. We saw a Herring on Day 1, an Eagle and Hummingbird on Day 3, and caught (and released) Bass, Catfish, and Sunfish. The house was super clean and it was by far the most relaxing vacation spot. I plan to visit again.

We got to the house early on our arrival day and the owner of the house happens to be there waiting for a new refrigerator to be installed. Since we have with us our 88th are old mother, the owner let us in early in the house, talked to us a little about the house and the area. He even took out some fire wood from the shed and set up the fire pit for us. That was very nice and we appreciate it. The house has plenty of space and everything we needed. We brought plenty of food and having a second kitchen in the basement with another oven and refrigerator was very useful. We enjoyed using the kayak, canoe and and paddle board. My family and I had an awesome time and definitely will rent this house again.

What a beautiful and spacious lake house!
We were there for a snowy weekend and so appreciated the pool and foosball tables, the youtube TV, and the thoughtful additions-- books and toys for our kids, and puzzles and games for the adults. Plus we loved the two big kitchens and we were able to cook huge meals for our crew!
