The manager never responded to VRBO or me. The place was dirty and had no towels or sheets on the bed. Initially, I thought housekeeping hadn’t finished so I reached out for help but no response. I ended up going to target to purchase bedding and towels. This was a pretty stressful start. This could have been easily remedied. But I must say the loft was gorgeous and neighborhood was awesome. Just make sure you do a direct chat with manager before you go or be prepared to bring bedding and towels.

This property is in a dangerous area of Rochester. During the 3 hours we stayed here in our 2 day reservation, we witnessed a drug deal happening at the gas station in front of the building.
Secondly, the lock on the door was broken, we later found out the batteries had died. I asked one of the hosts to replace the batteries, he said I can absolutely come up and change them while you are gone, we came back and the loft was left unlocked and the lock was never fixed.
The host did not respond until the next day, around noon! We had to leave and find another place to stay at 12:30am. Luckily we have friends in Rochester but not many people can be that lucky.
Overall I would never recommend this vrbo. It had potential and flopped royally.

With just a little effort this could be a 5 star experience. But it seems the owners/managers don't care. You pay a cleaning fee but there's years of dust everywhere. We had to buy linens to keep the kitchen clean. Lighting was inadequate, although you wouldn't guess from the listing photos, and several light bulbs were in need of replacing. The washer/dryer combo was broken, so no laundry capabilities. Made worse because there weren't enough bath towels to last the week (although some were delivered mid week ... surprisingly). Dishwasher was also broken, and while there was dish soap it wasn't for the dishwasher. These things could be easily overcome, or at least made acceptable, if only there was communication that acknowledged the problems and/or (ideally) resulted in solutions. If you rent this property, do not expect timely or complete communication and don't expect 5 star accommodations.

First off, the space and location are both great and we were excited to get settled in but unfortunately we had a number of issues.
Upon arriving at the unit, we were unable to gain entry as the host had not provided the correct access code. After standing outside the unit for 30 minutes calling VRBO and attempting to reach the host, we finally received a text with the correct access code.
The unit is spacious and well laid out but we found a number of problems over the next few days including a broken washer/dryer, insufficient lighting (4-5 light bulbs burned out), and a broken deadbolt that we had to repair ourselves. I did reach out to the host via text and while his responses were quick, none of the issues were corrected in the week we were there. We ended up having to use the laundromat.
Finally, for anyone who is environmentally sensitive, beware of this listing. One of the adjacent neighbors is a heavy marijuana smoker and the apartment smelled like pot most evenings and all day on weekends.
In general, a disappointing showing for what could have been an amazing property in the heart of Rochester.

We had a great stay at this lovely loft. Plenty of space to spread out and enough seating for a grand dinner party! We have two dogs and they loved it as well. We luxuriated in the fabulous Master bathroom tub every day . . . Centrally located with lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. We will definitely stay again!!!

Beautiful place to stay!
The loft is amazing in design and location. Cameron was very helpful and responsive. Master bath to die for. We plan to stay here again when in Rochester.
Cameron, thanks for everything. Fire your cleaners, buy a spatula and leave a full roll of TP in each bathroom and you will achieve perfection. In any case, I’ll be back!

Nice spot to stay in Rochester
I suggested to the owner that they stock with cooking necessities. Great set up, just hard to do much with what's currently there. For some reason a bed frame was in closet, so closet was not accessible for hanging clothes. Also, need to get plumber there for slow shower drains. Overall a nice place to stay, just needs prop management to take some extra steps to make it great.

Cameron & Luke immediately answered any question we had, and may the stay stress free.
We rented the place for my son's college graduation. Four of us stayed comfortably. The living space was large and open. Would defiantly stay there again.

The space is excellent and the property manager (Cameron) was responsive

Great space - but not a seamless experience
Spectacular space and well equipped. A myriad of maintenance issues marred the experience - simple things like not enough TP and light bulbs to more significant issues like the electronic locking system malfunctioning. I hope the managers were these out for future guests.

Lots of potential
The open concept and industrial design is impressive, but there’s work to be done. The washer/dryer and fireplace were not connected and the roof and refrigerator leaked. Although communication with the owner was swift, the story/explanation changed over the course of the weekend. I did appreciate the small discount, but it didn’t outweigh the inconvenience of using the laundromat. The apartment has a lot of potential.

Great penthouse! Clean and Comfortable
We had a great time staying at the penthouse. The penthouse was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the fridge not staying cold enough so some of our food went bad. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and sitting around the fireplace!

Spacious but sparse
The space is large and light filled, but under furnished and there are no rugs in the whole space nor reading lamps in the smaller bedroom. Only option was a large overhead light. The kitchen is well equipped, but the lighting is inadequate for cooking. Also, neither the fireplace, nor the washing machine or dryer worked as advertised. No attempt to fix these issues was made, or any price reduction offered though communication with the owner was good.

Incredible penthouse apartment
Unbelievable space and style. The pictures do not do this apartment justice. You have to see it to believe it. It’s that massive and nice.
