Surf and Sand is a cozy oceanfront condo and is perfectly located in the Nye Beach District. This neighborhood is known for its bohemian vibe with plenty of restaurants, shops, galleries and live entertainment all within walking distance! It's an easy walk to the public beach access. Enjoy the wonderful view of the coastline and the working lighthouse on Yaquina Head.

This pleasing one bedroom, two bath condo sleeps up to 4 guests. A lovely king bed in the bedroom with an ensuite bath adds privacy. A murphy bed can be found in the living room along with access to the full guest bath in the hall. The living/dining room is an open concept with a fully stocked kitchen including a counter with stools, a dishwasher, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, and all that you'll need to whip up and enjoy a delicious meal. A convenient washer/dryer is provided for those days where you had too much fun playing on the beach! Surf and Sand is located on the second floor but has an elevator for easy access.

Relax with an afternoon beverage or sip an evening drink from the covered deck off the living room where you can unwind and enjoy the view. With board games, books, and television, you will have plenty to keep you busy even on those stormy days that you stay indoors and watch the moods of the Pacific Ocean. Surf and Sand is perfect for a romantic getaway, a work/study/play retreat, or a great homebase for a group of friends to enjoy the best Newport has to offer.

We loved the property and everything was great EXCEPT I realized an hour after we left that I'd left my favorite earrings in the back right of the hall bathroom sink. I wrote the property manager who said they would notify the cleaners. Either they kept them or didn't report them - I never got them returned-and I am so disappointed.

I highly recommend this property. A secure beautiful location mid-coast. Really appreciated the gated parking lot and parking spot designated for the unit. The covered deck facing the ocean was perfect. The murphy bed was very comfortable for an adult. Kitchen was fully set up with everything you need to cook your meals. Easy check-in check-out process. Would stay again!

Couldnt ask for a better view and the unit had eveeything we could have asked for. Only “issue” that we had (and others were confused as well) ids that we couldnt open the gate becuz we thought it was the last four digits of our phone. Hate code was included in a text with lots of other info. Maybe make that more noticeable? Otherwise A+++

This was a great property to call home for our time in Oregon, we had to call in twice to get access to the property but they immediately answered and took care of us, it could have been email on our end that didn’t help, but the place was fabulous. Word of caution to anyone with a low level car, the concrete has fallen on one side of the driveway entrance so take it at an extreme angle! Loved having a secured location for our car!

Very nice condo directly above the beach. Located in the center of the Nye Beach District. Many good restaurants and shops all within walking distance from the condominium. The only draw back and it's a small one is that there is very little closet space. We would definitely rent this property again.

The managers contacted us constantly before we arrived and on an Irritating screen in the unit. Rules every day. 5:00 check in is unheard of. No cart for luggage. The iron fence is forbidding and needing codes for in and out is awful. We agree with other guests. It felt like a prison. The furniture was uncomfortable and the lighting was too dim to read. We will not return.

We loved our time at this condo. It was very convenient to some shopping and restaurants. It was very quiet and the view was fabulous. Our only complaint would be the bed in the bedroom - it was very uncomfortable. Each night I ended up sleeping on the couch.

this is the perfect place to stay and watch the waves and is close enough to Newport and Lincoln city to do things there too. The house is clean and well kept, with a fully stocked kitchen, if you want to cook. more than ample towels and bathroom supplies for the time we were there. Nye beach is a cute little costal town with fun shops and restaurants, we recommend Nana Irish pub, very good food. and for a coffee and sweet treat the Blue pig is lovely. Thank you for a great stay.

While the condo was comfortable and well appointed ie: kitchen, game closet, furnishings…. It was unusually dusty which became very noticeable -(the property mgr was kind enough to drop off an oscillating fan since no a/c, high temps and smoke from fires in the state surrounding us with ash… we needed air circulation!) when the fan stirred up the dust bunnies and some larger dust critters! All in all a nice stay, although the place needs to be cleaned a bit more thoroughly.

Located right on Nye beach, we couldnt have asked for a better location. Beach and family friendly restaurants all within walking distance. We were also impressed with how well stocked our rental was with kitchenware, beach toys, books and games for the kids! We will definately be returning back.

The actual house was amazing . Loved being that close to the coast . Town was amazing and had so much to offer . Our problem involved being away from the property a couple times and having someone enter the property . On one occasion they came in and for some reason moved around my wife’s toiletries . The second time they came in and closed the sliding patio door and locked it . We never left anything of value in the property and don’t know exactly what else was done while we were gone and they’re purpose for coming in but the damage was done . We lost all sense of security at that point . To make matters even worse and the final straw was when my wife and I were in the living room putting a puzzle together when a couple literally used a code to the door and wandered in leaving us actually stunned and speechless . They ended up leaving immediately to which we contacted the property manager and demanded a explanation to which they had none . We demanded a new code for the door to which they obliged but once again we were left in shock and dismay at the issues of this wonderful property . All these issues completely ruined our vacation and our time there and our trust in staying at this property .

From start to finish was simple&quick. The online picks don't do the room justice. It' very welcoming, you settle right in like being at home. I've never been somewhere where they have so many room amenities, you literally have Everything you need or might need. The ocean view is the best. You can come here and don't have to leave, food and entertainment is all in walking distance. This place is deff on our return list.
