Loved the cabin! It was clean and roomy. We would definitely stay here again, comfortable furniture and the cutest dishes, we had a wonderful time.

Quiet wooded neighborhood, clean, well-equipped cabin. Some neighbors can be seen through trees & roads in off Lolo pass very bumpy. Not an issue for us but may be for others. It was unusually hot most of stay, but we used the fans provided until temps dropped to more normal. Beds were very comfortable. I have back issues, & my husband is quite tall. The Master bed worked for us both. My sister stayed 1 night in the Queen upstairs & had no issue. There is a plethora of places to hike, picnic, viewpoints etc nearby. Also, Mt Hood & the Columbia River Gorge are not too far. We took many beautiful hikes & spent time with family. Enjoyed hot tub 2 of nights that were cooler after strenuous hikes. Hit a couple of local eateries. I have to say the Zigzag Inn had the most character & we enjoyed the food & staff. Would rent again if back in that area of Oregon. Thanks Sal & Melisa for sharing such a lovely vacation home.

Beautiful property with the a well stocked kitchen! We had everything we needed to cook, bake, and grill! The hot tub was fabulous, in a secluded wooded area. We loved the nearby hiking options and having a parking pass provided was a bonus.

The cabins was beautiful and amazing. It was a wet rainy weekend and we enjoyed just hanging out and spending some time in the hot tub.

We travel a lot as a family and our weekend stay was amazing. The listing did not disappoint. We had everything we needed and the cleanliness was on point. We were just at our last getaway in mid July at the beach and this weekend just topped the reason we rent thru VRBO. If your looking for your Cabin Getaway this is the Cabin you are looking for.

Cabin was beautiful, surrounded by nature, but closer to other homes than we would have liked. I wish that had been more clear in the description. I'd stay here again, however. Communication with the hosts was easy.

The Cascade Cabin was a great find.
Location - 20-25 min from Timberline and Sandy and close enough to local dining, groceries and hikes. Be ready for a bumpy ride into the cabin. It is a dirt road.
Accommodations - all of the amenities you could need. Fully stocked kitchen with every gadget, coffee, oil, spices, dishes, cookware, grilling tools, etc. The gas grill was a great option when we chose to dine in. So much space for two couples. Access to streaming services with your own log-ins. Cozy blankets & pillows on a jumbo coach with a gas fireplace. We used the hot tub several times. Clean and hot! Towels also provided. We didn’t use any of the yard games but they were available and would make a family visit with kids of all age a home run. Great selection of card & board games.
Temps during our visit ranged from low 50s to mid 90s. Several fans available to cool things down, but given the location in the woods, they weren’t really needed. Leaving the cabin the AM was much cooler than when we made it out to the sunlight.
Greatly appreciated the local recommendations of trails to hike and eateries to visit. We also utilized the state parks access pass a few times.
A few odd things, all the lighting was overhead, no lamps in the common spaces. Pillows were pretty hard. If you are picky, might want to bring your own.

It is a clean, quiet place to relax and a great base for adventures. We hiked the Salmon River and Mirror Lake trails, both close by. After the hikes the hot tub felt great! My kids loved the provided hot chocolate and playing games they found in the cabin. I would recommend checking in here for your Mt Hood stay!

We enjoyed staying in the beautiful cabin, it was close to everything we wanted to do.

This cabin was so comfortable, beautiful. The owners were very responsive. And the cabin itself had so many amenities. Snacks and bottled water were available. Multiple games to play. A binder full of useful information was available including passes to the national forest. Very close to Government Camp and Mount hood. A little rough on the uneven dirt road it’s on but overall we had a great stay.

Property was almost exactly as described but exceeded our expectations. It was definitely cozy and comfortable. Wasn't exactly as secluded as I had hoped but was still very much accommodating. The hot tub was amazing. If you plan on using it, crank the temp up as soon as you get there. We made that mistake and it ended up only being 97 when we got in because it wasn't something we thought to do. I advise that a privacy fence for the hot tub in the future as the neighbors behind came outside as soon as the jets kicked on and were trying to see who was out there. Was awkward. With the heat, turn it up as soon as you get there to get it to the temp of your comfort then regulate it. The house is beautiful. The inside was so clean it looked as if it had never been used. We had trouble connecting to the wifi in the master bedroom downstairs but it worked great in the living room and kitchen. We actually cooked one night and used the grill. You may wanna check inside the grill because it ate a piece of our chicken and in return we found someone's burger in there. We tried to get it out but it took a while for it to cool and by then we had forgotten. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking and serving utensils, plates, cups, pans, etc. The couch was very comfy and the nice soft blankets were a nice touch. I appreciated the gas fireplace. When we first arrived we had a neighbor I believe down the road watching us and although I understand those kinds of communities are probably full of people watching out for eachother it was kind of awkward. Was easy to find with the directions provided. Was close to restaurants, groceries, gas and lots of outdoorsy things to do. I would definitely stay there again and would refer my friends.

Nice and spacious
Super clean and spacious house surrounded by trees. King and queen beds were very comfortable. Twin beds could use tighter fitting sheets to prevent bunching. Great hot tub and giant soaking tub. Well stocked kitchen but would recommend owners add a pair of tongs, plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Overall great stay!

Lovely quiet home away
This is a delightful cross between a nice hotel and a friend's house. The home is nicely decorated and comfortable. Located in the forests of Mt Hood, close to skiing, restaurants, and lots of outdoor activities. We would book this house again.
