Secluded lakeside retreat guest house with a shared boutique style courtyard featuring a pool w/party deck and hot tub. This unit enjoys a private backyard fire pit, BBQ grill and outdoor eating areas. Luxurious living w/1800 thread count linens and plush bath towels. Lake view from romantic primary bedroom and south facing deck. Paddle board, kayak, fishing poles, bikes, board games, books, karaoke machine, smart tv, & record player. Your delight is our pleasure! Convenient location in the middle of it all with secured parking for 3 cars. We are centrally located in the middle of many great districts to explore. Downtown Burien has a charming strip of shops and restaurants, West Seattle is a cute neighborhood that we call the island, it has the beaches. Southcenter mall and shopping centers offer most popular department stores. We live next to Arbor lake which is a serene 8.5 acre park with a children's playground and lots of wildlife. Normandy Park is 7 minuets away and offers hiking parks with sound views. Seattle's best beach, Alki Beach is 20 mins away. Come explore!

We had a blast soaking in the hot tub, paying lawn games, swimming in the pool, fishing at the lake and playing at the nearby playground. The couch made out to a bed big enough for all 4 of my kids to sleep on too! The coffee, welcome beverage and movie night popcorn were muuuuch appreciated as well! Thanks!

This place was adorable. The owner was responsive and communicative. Pool and hot tub were clean and ready for use. There was an awesome little beverage cart stocked with coffee and cups/glasses for other drinks. The place was spotless and all the little decor details were delightful. Proximity to Seattle (not too close, not to far) makes it ideal. Would certainly recommend.

It was a nice little house in a good neighborhood. Quiet and not far from anything for the most part. The owner was great and when I reached out for more toilet paper she brought some over the same day. My only issue was that there was no washer and dryer on site so if you need to do laundry you will need to go to a laundry mat which im not a fan of. The pool and hot tub were not used as when we went in June it was quite cold still. I would stay again but not for a long trip like this one because of no laundry room.

The place is really cute, owner has put a lot of thought into making it feel like a retreat. The frosted windows provide privacy. I would offer more variety of teas though… the kind in individual packages. The blankets and comforters were amazingly soft and fluffy and makes me want to find those and buy them myself. Hot tub was not hot when we got there for the first night so that was a bummer… we don’t often spend money to travel like this and considered it a big splurge to get a place with a hot tub and pool. Pool was too cold for the kids… in hindsight I should have got a hotel with indoor pool for the kids. Would recommend.

We wanted to have a few friends over for a birthday celebration and needed more space than our one bedroom apartment allowed and this was the perfect place for it! The hot tub was a huge plus and everyone loved it. Everything was as expected from the listing and it was very clean and organized. The only issue we had was giving directions to everyone to find the place, as a few people had trouble even with the detailed directions given by the host. Regardless I would highly recommend this location!

Hosts are wonderful. Very kind and responsive to any needs. Their property is attractive and well designed. Very thoughtful anticipation of their guests needs with the way the house has been outfitted. Nice outdoor space to sit outside with a cup of coffee in the morning. Beds are very comfortable. One bedroom has a mattress that is smaller. The other bedroom’s bed easily accommodates a couple.

This is a great property and thoughtful and careful design has gone into it. It is really well equipped. I mean, exceptionally well equipped. Our reasons for visiting didn’t have us in the hope a lot, but I actually found myself wishing we had more time in the home.

Our experience was 100%positive. Owner was so accommodating! We had a Walmart delivery that arrived before we did ( due to being stuck in traffic) and she put our refrigerated items away for us. The beds were SO comfortable. House was clean and well stocked. Having this house to come back to after our days of exploring around the Seattle area made our trip! Thanks so much❤️

We came into town for the North Bend marathon. This location was perfect for our stay. Easy drive to the race, downtown Seattle and Des Moines. Overall great stay!

Stayed here with a work partner for a week. The cabin was super clean and fully stocked with dishes, linens, and kitchen essentials. As an added bonus, they provided popcorn and champagne in the fridge. Even though it was a work related trip, we thought the champagne was a cute touch.
The only thing I would have liked would have been in-suite laundry. But the owners offered to let us use their personal machines in their house that is on the same lot, so it wasn't really an issue.
I definitely recommend this place, especially for long stays.

This was a very cute and quaint cottage. The property was clean, just as pictured. The kitchen and items I consider “basic” necessities like towels, dish/hand soap, paper towels, tissue paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were well stocked. The coffee/tea bar was truly appreciated for a fellow coffee lover. We even noticed a well equipped shed for activities!! This place has everything!! The owner responded quickly when contacted, was very helpful and accommodating. We truly appreciated the late check out.
The cottage was a bit chilly in January. I contacted Tasha to figure out the heat situation, which as previously mentioned, she responded quickly with instructions. The sleeping area upstairs stayed warm and cozy, but unfortunately we could not get enough heat in the living room area (snuggle with blankets where possible). I may have overlooked but if not, having things like heat instructions in the “house info binder” may be beneficial for future renters that may not want to bother you with questions.
The upstairs bedrooms area is attic style so may be a bit tricky for a tall person. The bi-level situation in the primary bedroom was unexpected (there’s a step to get into the room and go around the bed that leads out to a very cute patio). These are just good to know items but not a deal breaker. In all, I would recommend and definitely would stay again. Would love to visit in the summer months to take advantage of outdoor amenities. Great stay and thank you!

The owner is a designer and everything is simply lovely. That said there are some quirks you might want to be aware of. We are in our 70's one of the two beds looks like you can get in from both sides in the pictures but is actually turned sideways, meaning there is no headboard and someone has to sleep against that wall. This is the room with the half bath. The front room has glorious sliding doors and a beautiful view of the lake. However, to access the far side of the bed you have to step up and down. If you have any mobility problems, this is probably not the place for you. We stayed in the winter but there is an inviting backyard with fire pit and easy access as well as wonderful area to walk. For younger couples, I would think you would find it delightful.

This is a great property for seeing Seattle without having to stay in Seattle proper. Uber rides are reasonably priced and only 15 minutes from downtown Seattle.
The bedroom arrangement is more suitable to a small family, as opposed to four adults, but we were able to make it work.
We enjoyed the quiet, and privacy of this place as we are from a large state with a small population.
Thanks for the hospitality and we enjoyed our stay!

Lots of attention to detail - a truly lovely place. The towels and sheets were terrific. Great decor. Incredibly responsive host. Walkable to a cute little park, which was great for the little ones. Highly recommend!!

Lotus Estates is a nice surprise. Lovely and cozy property with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Nice roomy kitchen for those who really do cook on vacation, with lots of utensils and space. There is a big TV in great room. Lots of little extras to surprise you placed here and there. We didn't have time to use the nice stainless grill outside when we were there, but enjoyed the nice seating in the yard. I recommend this property.

Everything was great! We enjoyed relaxing inside the house, love the huge and comfortable sectional sofa in the living room, appreciate the cute balcony next to the primary bedroom overlooking the nearby lake. Outside the house is pretty awesome too - we cooked using the BBQ grill, we stayed warm at night by lighting the fire pit, and lounging on the outdoor chairs.
The host is also very attentive and accommodating. Tasha checked in to ask if we have everything we need, and provided extra blankets when we requested. Tasha also kindly helped us by bringing a gas tank replacement for the BBQ grill as it got empty during the 2nd time we were using it.
There is only one thing that we thought wasn't represented well in the pictures, and that is the second bedroom. From the picture and because the angle of it, the second bedroom looks like it has a queen bed, but when we stayed, it was a twin bed. This ended up working for us, as we were 3 people, so 1 person could slept comfortably in the 2nd bedroom. But if we were 4 people and expected for 2 adults to sleep in the 2nd bedroom, we would have not been able to do that. So just be aware of that, in case you were looking to sleep 2 adults in the 2nd bedroom! That said, the couch in the living room is big and comfortable and it can be used as a sleeping alternative as well.

We enjoyed this space so much for our trip, and I know we would’ve enjoyed even better had we stayed longer. It’s very peaceful and serene, would be perfect for a retreat or a place to unplug from it all. My only suggestion would be for some sort of signage for the driveway on the back entrance. We arrived at night and wasn’t sure about where to turn initially, but it worked out and our drivers essentially made due.
Tasha is a great host and so helpful! We all plan to stay here again on our next visit to Seattle!

We spend 5 amazing days in Lotus Estates. Everything was clean and beautiful inside. We have the chance to reconnect with nature and family in very welcoming house. Tasha was very we and attentive to our needs. They have plenty games and amenities that we didn't feel the need of leaving the house at all. We will definitely be back whenever stay in the area.
