The location is perfect. Beach and Jungle - best of both worlds. We could see monkeys there. While in Bocas Town it’s very loud and crowded and there is no access to the water, somewhere is a quiet nice place with the beach for a swim in front and the jungle behind, but you are still only a few minutes taxi drive (1$ p.P.) from the town, or a walk (~30min). It’s also half the way to some surfspots - however, taxi price is ~ 5$ to go there. Taxis are passing by frequently. There is also a special somewhere discount for renting motorbikes. There is a little street between beach and resort, but it doesn’t bothered us much.
The room was super clean, spacious, new and nice equipped, the bed is sooooo soft and comforted, from the (warm!) shower you can look into the jungle.
The manager, Ceci, is just lovely - she explained and helped us a lot and was always open for a nice chat (in perfect English).
Another highlight was the beautiful outdoor kitchen. We usually avoid cooking in shared kitchen, but this one was so clean, so well equipped and spacious, we cooked here every day. Every room has its own space for storing stuff and there are two huge fridges.
Coffee and drinking water was for free (luxury, because a bottle of water costs over 3$ at Bocas even in the supermarket).
Because of the nice shared spaces, it was easy to connect with other guests and we had a lot of nice chats.
There is also a nice roof terrace that is a great place for a yoga session.
Nothing, everything was perfect!
Maybe, there could be a little more places to sit and chill (for example chairs at the private patio, or deck chairs at the roof terrace).

Goeie locatie om verder eiland te verkennen, wel fiets of taxi nodig. Handige open keuken koelkast. Strandje aan andere kant weg. Hartelijke ontvangst!
Bedden en matrassen zakten erg door.

Ceci is a wonderful host. She took individual care for each of the guests, arranging taxis, providing information about restaurants and beaches. The bed was comfortable, showers hot, well-equipped kitchen and refrigerator and stove.
Excellent AC in rooms. Excellent wifi.
The walls between the rooms are thin, so if you're noise-sensitive, have some earplugs handy.
A little bit out of town, so quieter however taking a bus or taxi is needed. Maybe after the road construction is done, it will be much better to walk or bike into town.

The hotel is located out of bocas town which is good. The hotel is comfortable and the host is very welcoming and provides a lot of information and tips on where to eat, visit and how to get there.
The shower is mainly cold and whilst the hotel location is good to be out of bocas town to be prepared to wait for a taxi back on an evening as the taxis in bocas are far from ideal or regular.

Lovely quiet spot out of town with comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of buses and shared taxis go past and it’s only $1pp to town. The shared kitchen well equipped and a fantastic space - some mornings we saw monkeys heading out for their day! The water cooler with hot and cold water was useful. The nearby beach was very calm and a pleasant place to spends some time.
Cecile was very helpful and provided lots of useful information. There is a restaurant called Pipa which is a 10 min walk further away from Somewhere. The Saturno laundry in town charged $6 for a bag of laundry

Amazing small apartments with large bed, AC & Fan, a safe and warm showers. Common kitchen has almost anything you need, and the staff was super forthcoming (we were offered fresh coffee daily). It was the most comfortable stay we’ve had in a while, and the price was very good for this offer.

The property was in an ideal location. Close to town, but far enough away to wake up peacefully in the morning. The room was clean and the property was charming.
It started torrentially raining during our stay and the roof over the palm roof over the kitchen struggled to keep the water out, so the kitchen floor was flooded. However, we didn’t really need to use the kitchen so this was not a major problem for us.

Beautiful location, just in front of the beach, and very helpful people
everything was perfect

Great setting, the staff were lovely - also a bonus crocodile in the stream next to it!

Great value !
The owner is awesome. She gave us lots of tips abouth how to move around , where to go and what are the best places to eat around.
The location is perfect . Very close to the town . In front of the property there is a nice beach that you could use.
Also the location is on the road to Bluff Beach and Boca Del Drago / Estrella and the buseses are crossing in front of the hotel. So if you don't want to use local taxis they are very convenient .
The property was well beyond our expectations .
The bed is 5 star hotel level. Very big , enough for a family with a small kid sleeping with you ( that was very important for us ) .
Also they could arrange laundry service for you if the case .
Nothing really . I would 100% recommend this property .

A beautiful property with a lush green garden, and even the chance to spot monkeys and other animals. The rooms are comfortable (incredibly nice bed) and well decorated. There is a common space with a kitchen area where you can cook and store food, and there is a water dispenser so drinking water is readily available. The location is good in the sense that it is very quiet, away from the busy town, and there is a beach right across the property. A taxi into town was always relatively quick to find, and cost only $1-2.
The room was a bit small, and it would be nice to have a chair on the terrace in front of the room. The room was not cleaned every day.

The hotel was very recent and well maintained, the rooms have a good size and the common kitchen is very good.
The location is good, near a small beach but you need to go by taxi or rent a moto to go to town.
We had some problems with the hot water and some leakage which the owners always tried to solve as fast as possible. We had some problems with food disappearing so I think it would be good to lock the fridge only for the guests to access it.

We couldn't have imagine a better place to stay! Nice rooms, beautiful garden, beach right in front of the accommodation. Etienne was very kind and helpful! Also the cleaning workers were very friendly! At night/morning everything you hear is the sea and wildlife. We were happy to escape the crowded and loud centre, though it's very easy to get a taxi to the centre (just stand beside the road and take the next one coming for just one dollar). We would absolutely come back again!

The good: hosts were super helpful & friendly. There were monkeys & geckos hangin around the property and that was really the only noise. People who stay here aren’t ragers & they like the quiet life. There’s a community kitchen w everything you need: coffee maker, refrigerator & freezer, stove, utensils, pots & pans, plates utensils etc. There was almost always available filtered water. It was easy enough to get into town & back for $1 each way by cab. we never had to wait too long for a cab here. Far enough from town but not too far like paunch or bluff. Was worried about the bed being too soft based on reviews but my bf and I both have sensitive backs when it comes to beds but my partner and I both slept great! ac worked ok.
The bad: apparently this is a spot the cops like to hang out. literally you’ll come out of your room & there’s cops in the kitchen / lounge area. One day they stopped my partner as he was gonna cross the street to take a dip in the ocean & they gave us the run down on the rules. They just reminded him that you can’t walk around with alcohol or walk around without a shirt. nothing bad but Made us feel like we were under surveillance 👎🏽
Water in the shower is hot when it wants to be. the A/c feels cold as long as you shut the closet & bathroom doors & only cool down the room.
Suggestions for hotel: Could use another chair. One chair for inside and zero outside on your own balcony isn’t ideal. Two patio chairs and a mini table on the balcony would be great. the only way you can sit outside is in the shared space but sometimes you wanna sit outside and not be social with the whole hotel.
also, tell the cops to hang out elsewhere. they just bring bad vibes & don’t make everyone feel safe. (and no, we weren’t trying to do illegal things, but just don’t love feeling watched. it’s like a cop driving behind you, you could be driving the speed limit, sober, with seatbelt, and it still nerve wracking & annoying).
Would I stay here again? Yeah. Good vibes. if they had chairs on the private patio and no cops, I’d have rated this place a 9.5.

Very nice location, close to town. Nice and clean room. Great communication with the owner.

Elena was very helpful and full of positive energy!!
If you love nature this is a place for you since this place caters to nature. You can hear the monkeys on trees, birds and different other animals. Maribel was very pleasant and friendly too.
If you are looking for luxury this is not a place for you.

Nice Hot shower, good equipped kitchen, coffee and water for free, internet was working well, wildlife in the garden, very clean, very helpful.... Helped us organizing a trip and bycicles
In front of the hotel you can reach the beach and get taxis and buses easily....
The bed was very soft, and in the morning you get waked up by hauling monkeys...which can be a pro and a con depending wether u like a bit of wildlife or not..... We loved it.

Elena our host definitely added a lot of value to our stay. She is a burst of positive and friendly energy and gives great advice on where to go.
We also loved the outdoor kitchen en being able to see the trees while under the shower.
The beds are soft what one of us liked and one of us didn’t like.

The accommodation is very modern and has an awesome view of the sea from the shared terrace. We had amazing assistance from Elena, who helped us with tours, transportation, suggestions, and overall great conversation! Although it's not right in the Bocas del Toro village, it's very easy to get there via taxi or bus, so the location was not an issue. We had all the amenities we needed, including A/C, good WiFi, drinkable water and coffee. Would definitely recommend the place for an awesome stay in Colon Island.
The beds are a bit too soft, so there might not be enough support for people with back problems. But that is not a big issue when you have so many things to explore that you go to bed exhausted. :) Other than that, everything was perfect.

Veve is super nice and helpful! She recommends a lot of tours and activities for your days in Bocas.
The hotel is also a coworking space and has a shared kitchen.
You are very in contact with the nature there.
There is no cleaning service during your stay. Wifi connection in the bathrooms could be improved.
The rooms aren't huge though.

Easy but very nice and clean rooms. The garden and the outdoor kitchen with sea view are great. Coffee and fresh water for free all day. The best room we had in Panama, also in terms of the price.
And on top of that: Veve and Marilu make you feel like home. They are always around to give you recommendations, share experiences, surprise you with a fresh coconut for breakfast or offer free laundry service.
We would definitely come again!
A little far to the city center where you find restaurants, boat taxis or supermarkets. Make sure you rent a bike, this makes it easier for you. Or take a taxi which is also very cheap (1-2$ per person depending on time and luggage).

The owner is great, so nice and helpful. She realy wants her guests to enjoy.
The rooms are newly designed, and its great to sleep well away from the noisy center

We enjoyed our stay here! The beachfront view was gorgeous, and the staff was so kind and accommodating. The owner helped us with sightseeing suggestions, laundry, and scheduling a taxi. She really went above and beyond and we can't recommend this venue enough!
I cook quite a bit, but the stove in the shared kitchen is the slowest cooking stove that I've ever used. The flame is really low. It wasn't the end of the world, but it did make meal prep take much longer.

Very well located complex featuring a huge shared outdoor kitchen, and a chillout terrace above it! It has direct access to the beach. Very safe area. The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful. Fast wifi, plenty of hot water, strong air-co, comfy bed. Free drinking water and coffee.

Very clean and good room. Location just outside city but for 1 dollar taxi or bus you are in the city. You can also rent a bicycle and go to bluff beach or the city..
The cleaning is great and very nice owner and cleaning ladies

Monkeys were really loud in the morning.

Super nice hotel at an amazing location. The hotel is well maintaned between the beach and jungle, we liked it a lot here. The best thing was that it is right in front of beach where you can swim. Rooms are having high standards and are very comfortable. Getting there was easy due to its close location to the town. Next time we will stay there again
