Stressful and hugely disappointing!
The amount of bedrooms fitted our needs
Wasn’t cleaned when we arrived. Bin overflowing at the back of the property, stench of rotting food was almost unbearable! Mouldy dishes in the dishwasher. Unable to use oven due to the smoke it produced.

The worst property I’ve ever stayed in (Tradesmen Edition)
It was very cheap for what we were after. It was in a good location to the city centre. Good parking to the rear of the property. Allowed dogs
I have never stayed in a property that is this run down. Skirtings hanging off of the wall, damage to walls as soon as you walk in the back door that hadn’t been repaired properly and didn’t even look like they had attempted to do it properly. No light to the access to the rear of the property so it was almost impossible to get there without tripping down the steps. The downstairs en-suite had a huge crack in the shower tray which was reported to the owner several times with nothing done about it. None of the rooms had been finished to any sort of standard. Bathrooms were nearly all missing skirting with huge gaps underneath the cladding boards. All bathrooms had a horrible smell of damp. The 2 bathrooms upstairs had huge holes in the floor where you could see through to the plumbing. The kitchen was just terrible, worktops haven’t been jointed properly and were all sticking up, no sealant to the splash backs, missing a fillet panel above the oven so just a huge gap, bits of plinth were missing, exposed pipes everywhere. Door handles were loose to the pocket doors, tables in the bedrooms were loose and wobbled around everywhere. It is a 6 bedroom house and only has a sofa that fits 2 people in the living room. TV is too low in the living room. Attempted to contact the owners, they contacted me back. I made them aware of all of this and never heard anything back. Very poorly, not finished, property that SHOULD NOT be allowed to be rented out until this is sorted. I am a tradesmen and dont have the highest of standards with accommodation but this is what i do for a living and it is POOR. Do not book this property if you’re expecting a satisfactory standard of finish. It’s like living in the middle of a renovation. Also no intumescent strips in the doors or frames (fire standards?) (illegal for rented accommodation?) Still not received anything from the owners (LOL) WOuld not recommend this property EVER

Enjoyable clean environment.
Very Clean rooms and maintained to a high standard, which I find impressive with such high usage being on booking.com. The crisp white bedding was flawless, zero stains or mess. Very comfortable bedding would go as far as to say home from home. The property itself has been very stylishly fitted out making it welcoming and pleasant to be in. It has Plenty of space in all aspects both the communal areas and room. off road parking is an absolute bonus. Throughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be using this property again. Thanks you.
Only point I could suggest. When entering via the rear access lighting was a little poor. Especially this time of year. Very easy to solve .

Superb
Good points: "Modern house, looks like new. Large kitchen with everything we needed. TVs and desks in every room was perfect for our group so everyone could have their own space in the evening."
Bad points: "A coded lock on the front door as well as the rear would help as we could only come in and out through the rear. Although this wasn't really an issue as the parking is at the rear."

Not fit for purpose
The upgraded bathrooms were modern and clean. The location of the property in proximity to what we needed was convenient.
The place had not been professionally cleaned before we arrived. So much of the property needs upgrading and is in bad condition, the shower leaks to the living room, after apparently "fixing it" the screen door shattered and cut my wifes hand in 2 places. The fridge leaks, the oven door doesn't stay open, the clothes horse is broken the TV has no aerial, the curtain rails and blinds in some rooms aren't fitted properly, the lights flicker when on too long, some rooms and cupboards have building materials stacked which emphasises that this property is just not ready to be let out. There is just so much wrong and that went wrong and is not as advertised it should be taken down. If it pops up again as available within 6 months I would guess it really hasn't been fixed of all its issues. Also the parking space was advertised as 4 cars but its really on 2 comfortably, 3 at a push and the ground to enter is a complete rubble pile. If you have low pro tyres or are nervous driving in tight spaces then I'd give it a miss
