The reception staff was great the room I was staying in was not so great on arrival I noticed on top of the bed sheet was a blood stain and the noise from the pipes with the heating was lound and when I opened the window I was came across very dirty window sive but the breakfast was to an high standard the staff was great with a smile always nothing to much to help you

I stayed here for one night with my husband & our young baby. The booking confirmation said we’d have a cot in the room but when we arrived the room had one double bed & the sleeper couch had been made into a bed. It wasn’t a problem as we had a travel cot with us but it was a good job we weren’t relying on there being a cot provided. The room was clean & comfortable enough, although it was way too hot when we arrived (the thermostat was set to 24C) but we turned it down & the windows opened enough that it cooled down. The windows didn’t fit brilliantly so we could hear the wind in the night but there was a huge storm so I think usually you’d probably hear some traffic noise through them but not enough to keep you awake. The shower was a let down unfortunately. It took ages to get it to the right temperature & it was variable to say the least. We didn’t have the breakfast so I can’t comment on that. The other thing to mention is the layout of the hotel is a little odd. The rooms are spread out over 2 floors but in a long thin arrangement, rather than being a tall building. There are multiple entrances once you have your key so we could get to & from the car quickly rather than going via reception but it’s worth being aware that you may have a bit of a trek from reception to your room when you arrive & we didn’t notice a lift. Overall, not bad for a night’s stay.

The staff were all amazing. Beds really comfortable and the gym and spa facilities superb. Perfect base for our trip in to Bath. Would be good as a short trip to London also.

The room needs a freshen up. the bed was a small double at best and so uncomfortable. Also, the radiate was making a constant tapping noise all night. We phoned the reception to try and get the radiator sorted, but nobody answered. Check out wasn't until 12 pm, but we left at 7 am as we had been up all night and couldn't stabd being in the room a moment longer

Hotel itself was okay, nothing amazing and the hotel is quite dated. Good amount of parking. First night was fine until 8am the following morning when scaffolding was being installed outside below our room. So incredibly nosy and not just the nose from the actual materials but from the workers. Had to call reception to ask them to tell the workers to keep it down as this had been going on for a hour on a Saturday morning. Spoke to reception to ask why we want informed scaffolding would be installed this early in the morning as they obviously knew, were met with many excuses and defensiveness from the front of house manager on duty at that time, named Swapnil Ramchandra was quite defensive and it wasn’t needed, when all they needed to do was apologise if they didn’t know the answer and find a solution which was to move us to the other side of the property were there was no scaffolding at all. The rest of the stay was okay after this but not happy with how defensive this staff member became when we asked them the simple question of why they didn’t let us know about the scaffolding upon check in. My husband expressed his frustration with their reaction and lack of communication amongst their them and then we were eventually moved to a different room.

Dated hotel, rooms very small. Bath is not a bath, luck if you can kneel down in it. Free drinks, crisps and KitKat in the room nice addition but reflected in the price of the room. Bed very lumpy and uncomfortable and pillows very hard.
Evening meal - had chicken burger, was ok but nothing special. Bar staff friendly but were more interested in talking to each other.
Breakfast - typical hotel breakfast, again nothing special, no nice additions but ladies working on shift were very kind and friendly.
Checkout was smooth and quick. Lady asked how my stay was, I replied my bed was very uncomfortable and she replied oh was it and continued to give me my reciept. Clearly not interested.
Would I stay again? Probably not, lots of hotels in the same area including Hilton doubletree, which are very comparable in prices but are more attentive and offer those nicer touches.

The staff here were amazing and nothing was too much trouble but everything else was lacking.
Every part of the hotel past reception and the bar was very tired looking. Chunks of paint were missing in the rooms and in the corridors. The carpet was as stained and worn out as it could be.
The bathroom was made to be so the you could hardly turn around in it because of the world’s biggest shower cubicle and sink which made it almost claustrophobic.
The pool and “spa facilities” were fine apart from the timetable of frequent long periods you are unable to use the because of swimming lessons. Also the jacuzzi broke down during the stay so I was only able to use it once.
Overall if you are looking to make a quick stop with children this place would probably be good but I don’t feel the price was reflected in the quality of the hotel.

Tired looking hotel and no cupboard door on mini fridge which is right at the end of the bed so bright light and noise of it kept us awake all night. Told duty manager on check out, who said sorry about that and offered nothing more! If that was a premier inn you would be immediately offered a refund!

The shower room was so small i had to straddle the toilet so that i could close the door, i had to close the door because it blocked the entry in to the shower when it was open. The bar served me a pint of lager and a bag of pipers crisps for £9.10 . The crisps cost £2.30 . The total price included an 85p "gratuitie" that I was not told about until I had paid by card. They pointed the card machine at me so that I couldn't see the price. I was probably to trusting, but you don't expect to be robbed by a company like this. There was also a derelict staff house on the site!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean and tidy, bed was very comfortable. Impressed that maid came to clean room on a Sunday despite us only staying 2 nights, bathroom on the smaller side and room looking a little tired in places but otherwise very good. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were a very welcome addition and made our stay even better.

Great hotel, had a nice stay

Hotel in general clean and well equipped tho getting tired on the outside, looks like work was in progress to get maintenance started as there was scaffolding up around part of building..
Reception staff helpful and friendly.
Jackie and Pauline in breakfast restaurant were helpful diligent and concerned. Especially as previously mentioned in other reviews the restaurants air conditioning was set rather low, especially coming down from warm cosy bedroom!! So do take another layer down to be personally comfortable. Breakfast:
Food was as expected, normal hotel fare, fresh and plentyful, adequate for short stay, it was presented well, and fresh fruit on table a nice touch.
If you are happy to have the TV within earshot and eye view, at every meal, then no problem, you will be well catered for.
TV in bedroom out of date, watching normal programming not possible, unless you know how to attach to it, off your personal devices.
Generally we enjoyed our stay, and would come again.
Thank you.

Overall it was a nice place to stay. However the main drawback back is there isn’t any lift in the building. So we had to carry all the baggage up and down which was very uncomfortable and inconvenient.Everything else was excellent.

The dining facilities and staff were great 👍
The only small glitch was that expedia didn't inform the hotel of our booking, but the receptionist gave us courtesy drinks while we waited.
