Perfect

Probably our favourite accommodation in the whole of NZ! The perfect place to spend a few days in Taranaki; comfy, cozy, everything has a touch of luxury, SO CLEAN, friendly hosts. Would recommend to anyone staying in this area.

Zero complaints. Everything is taken care of.

Excellent, wonderful, loved every day of it

The location suited us perfectly, as it was rural and very quiet. We travelled by car, so it didnt matter that it was out of town. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would recommend this stay to anyone. We will certainly stay again next time we are in New Plymouth. Everything was clean and welcoming. The hosts were helpful and friendly, and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. A big thank you

A perfect couple’s retreat.

A modern, spacious, beautifully decorated self contained unit. Attention to detail meant everything was provided to ensure a very comfortable stay. The rural location and fabulously planted landscaping, made for a very relaxing time, while still being within an easy distance from New Plymouth.

There was nothing to dislike.

Rural Luxury Stay Close to the City

There was nothing not to like from the pretty rural countryside surrounding the property, to the tastefully appointed and luxurious apartment, right down to the goosedown pillows, the linen bedcover and pillowcases, and the feather and down cushions on the velvet settee. The apartment was very well equipped, everything was provided to make for a seamless and very enjoyable stay. Even the very private outside bath surrounded by its own pretty garden was a luxurious treat!

I have no comment to make here. Everything was great!

Was so perfect and didn't want to leave, will most certainly be back again. A wonderful Escape!

Was the most beautiful location, loved seeing the Arapawa sheep greeting us on the way in, the room was gorgeous and loved the outdoor bath, so serene and quiet. So impressed by what was provided, just above and beyond in every little detail, fresh fruit, milk, chocolates, even oil and salt and pepper! Ron and Sue are so welcoming and kind. Just an incredible place to unwind.

I have only one thing that could be improved, the curtains let the light in very early and being on holiday a sleep in would have been nice. Otherwise it was perfect!

The hosts were super lovely and welcoming. They had thought of everything but it was the extra special touches that made this a stand out visit like the well stocked fridge and fresh fruit. The outside bath was a real pleasure and a great way to unwind, very private. Oh, the mattress, two of the best night's sleep, sooo comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Escape is aptly named,as for us it was lovely escape

The location is quiet in the countryside. The hosts were excellent . The unit was perfect and the fresh fruit was also appreciated. Although we did not get to use the hot tub, this time, we will besure to return and use it next time.

Superb

Lovely place just out of New Plymouth(7-8 mins). Warm and comfortable, nice continental breakfast, very clean and new. The hosts were very welcoming.

We enjoyed a very pleasant comfortable few days-so much better than a sterile hotel room!

Very quiet, picturesque location. Sue was very helpful and welcoming. Accommodation included many thoughtful inclusions eg fruit and fresh flowers. There was even a first aid kit.

The Hosts were a delightful friendly couple who made sure we had everything we needed. We booked the continental breakfast option which was a delight. Having all the items available in the fridge and pantry was exceptional. The location and facilities are great. We will be staying again should we be going up to New Plymouth again.
