Amazing stay! Spotlessly clean, friendly, and a dinner worthy of a high end restaurant. Shared bathroom for three rooms was no issue as it was ridiculously clean.

Don’t miss an opportunity to stay at Casa Raichu while walking the Camino - you will love it!

I LOVED everything about this property. Everything from check in to check out was perfect - I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations for my daughter’s 22nd birthday! I am doing the Camino de Santiago with my daughter, my sister and my niece (4 people total). Our hosts prepared an incredible meal (we all agreed it was the BEST meal we’ve had thus far) and we celebrated my daughters birthday by singing happy birthday along with a cake, candles and a Birthday Hat!! If you are fortunate enough to get a reservation - You won’t be disappointed!

Could be better!

The room was OK. But the private bathroom (wc. + shower + sink) is in a hallway outside the room. It didn't bother me much. The owner Elena is a nice person. It is very clean.

The exaggerated price of 15 euros of dinner. Unlike everything we have encountered so far on the Camino Portuguez, Camino Primitivo and Camino French, this is the first time when there was no bread at dinner and the red wine included in the price was half a glass, a glass brought from the kitchen half full. I had previously ordered a glass of wine which was also brought to me half full and for which I was charged an additional 2 euros. Since no one has seen any bottles, the wine is probably from the one bought in a 5-liter can. Sin!

A warm welcome at Casa Raichu with delicious food.

This was our first stop on the Camino from Pamplona and what a joy ! Our luggage was waiting for us from Correos and we were greeted by our host. Our room was small but very clean and had a beautiful view over the town. We ate a delicious pilgrims dinner here with several other guests. A beautiful evening to sit out on the terrace and enjoy a glass of wine, provided by the hostess. Good facilities and bathroom. Excellent breakfast the next morning in the hosts home and we felt ready to face our next day of walking.

Breakfast at 8. I do not believe they want to serve Pilgrim breakfast. It is MUCH TOO LATE. Otherwise it is a GREAT place to stay in the Camino.

Hemos pasado esta noche aquí y desde que entras a la casa hasta que llegas a la habitación todo super limpio y ella super amable disponible para ayudarte en todo o si quieres comer beber algo ,super atenta. Excellent pilgrim stay

This was a fabulous place to stay on our Camino in the smaller town of Obanos. Our hostess Elena received us well, showed us our room and also cooked an on-site communal pilgrim dinner with the other guests. A fabulous experience in a very quiet small town.

El trato por parte de Elena. Muy atenta. El sitio era muy tranquilo y silencioso para poder descansar bien. Pude comprarme cosas y Elena me las guardó en la nevera. Conversación muy agradable, las estancias muy bien cuidadas y cómodas, todo muy limpio.

La amabilidad de Elena. El desayuno espectacular y con un precio estupendo. El pueblo muy tranquilo y las personas educadas y amables. Las zonas contiguas que visitamos el Puente de la Reina y el Templo Románico de Santa Maria d'Eunate muy bonitos.

Beautiful and clean

Everything felt clean and fresh. A laundry service was offered which was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts were friendly and kind. Perfect stay for the Camino. ☺️

Great place to stay on Camino Frances

We are walking Camino Frances and our stay last night at Casa Raichu was wonderful. Elena our kind, friendly host was so welcoming after our long hot walk, her smile was the best. Dinner was delicious and it was lovely to sit and talk to other pilgrims around the dining table. Elena washed our smelly pilgrims clothes, it was lovely to walk in clean clothes today. The house is immaculately clean and very welcoming , definitely a wonderful place to stay on the Frances. Thank you so much for your great hospitality.

Pilgrims, you should go here if you want some peace and quiet just for a short while! Highly recommended

Friendly owner, Helena? She did everything to make her guests comfortable and feel at home. She used a translator app so we had no problem communicating… next time if I do visit again I hope I can talk with her in Spanish, even if it’s broken! :)

Extremely clean, superbly comfortable bed, lovely host. I didn’t eat her homemade meals but understood they were good.

The private bathroom was down the hall, so it was a lot of locking and unlocking of doors! Also, it felt a bit expensive for what it was.

ok-a little disappointing- not worth the $$

comfortable and clean

advertised as having laundry facilities and dinner/breakfast, but provided neither. we were really stuck for lunch/dinner food options. Obanos had no other food options but a tiny store with bread and sandwich meats. 2 bars in town were closed. Elaina (host) was lovely but spoke no english. we had a small terrace outside our room but quickly learned we were sharing it with other people. she never communicated that. embarrassing experience. Hallway and room had a strong odour of cleaner. For what we received, the property was too much money.
