About this house rental
This large victorian house unit 2 is extraordinary because it is located on the historic Irvine Park square with beautiful views of its fountain and gazebo - this is the only rental available on the park!! The victorian was handmade in 1869 and the exterior is now a museum piece preserved by the National Register of Historic Places. It is featured in Saint Paul walking and bus history tours, history books and even a history comic book!
The Horn House is one of Saint Paul's oldest homes located in Saint Paul's oldest neighborhood. This historic 1869 victorian has 2 residences in it. Each residence is 1500 ft² with 3 levels. The two units share a beautiful wraparound porch, outdoor furniture, fire pit, and a long wood dining table under a beautiful pergola in the back. Each residence has it's own private entrance and 100% totally private inside with a private kitchen and living space.
This Airbnb is for residence #2.
Note: if this rental is not available on your dates, please look for the other house residence to rent, same name but different unit number. Both residences are listed for rent.
This unique house is located in the very best spot to enjoy Saint Paul - only 2 blocks to the Xcel Event Center, restaurants, bars, the MN Science Museum, Rice Park and downtown St Paul.
This house is perfect for group fun for Xcel Events, a home base for weddings in Irvine Park, romantic weekends and fun.
Perhaps the most special part of the house is it's wrap around porch! This is the very best porch in Saint Paul to hang out, sip drinks, and enjoy the scenic retro ambience of Minnesota's oldest neighborhood.
Irvine Park is a magical bubble in the heart of Saint Paul. It is a square of antique Victorians surrounding a beautiful little park. Irvine Park is quiet like a small town even though it is just blocks from the hustle bustle of popular bars, restaurants and Xcel Energy Center.
This house has extra special history to baseball and movie fans because it was previously owned by Mike Veeck of the Saint Paul Saints and was the occasional hang-out and sleeping pad for Saints co-owner actor Bill Murray. This house was also the hang out for academy award winning actress Marisa Tomei and academy award nominee Matt Dillon while they filmed the movie Factotum in Irvine Park.

We had a great stay. Easy to communicate with the owner, nice, walk-able neighborhood, picturesque home.
No complaints and the vacation was a success.

This property was an opportunity to be a part of history. This house and quaint neighborhood are nestled within blocks of major locations of activities, but you never even knew it was there. The host was so kind and responsive, but really was never needed because this home had everything you needed. The charm and beauty of both the inside and outside of the home was one of a kind opportunity. Treat yourself to this gorgeous property, you won’t regret it.

Amazing location near Downtown St. Paul in an historic neighborhood with beautiful homes and every amenity within a mile. Restaurants, concert venues, groceries, museums and shops galore within 2 miles. We had a great time in the family space on the first floors and the bedrooms had very comfortable beds and ample closet space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit this property again.

This beautiful historic house was perfect for a girls trip getaway for 7 lifelong friends celebrating the year we all turned 60! We spent a lot of our time at the house enjoying the wrap around porch, outdoor fire pits and the outdoor eating space! Surrounded by beautiful Irvine Park and historic homes in a quiet neighborhood with rare white squirrels running around. Walking distance to restaurants on 7th and the bike trail along the Mississippi River. Mike was a fantastic host and readily available for anything we needed-even built us a fire! Thanks for sharing this gem of a property!

We stayed at this property for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. From check in to check out, our stay was great. We had two families staying together and we had plenty of space. We utilized the outdoor area alot with meals, playing games and socializing. We loved the idea of walking to nearby restaurants and the park across the street. Also took a couple walks along the River which is easily walking distance. We would definately stay here again if we were coming back to the area.

This property is excellent. From the condition, cleanliness, and furnishings, to the location in St. Paul, we very much enjoyed it and would for sure stay here again. Easy walk to Xcel Center and St. Paul restaurants. Our family of 4 were very comfortable here. The house is on a very charming historic square. Even in winter, it was very cool. Kids enjoyed sledding in the park across the street. Mike, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating. Excellent property.

Mike was attentive and available to handle all of our questions. Gave us a gracious checkout time for a late flight. The house was awesome and served our holiday perfectly. Would like a bigger bed in one of the bedrooms for two adults, but overall fantastic and memorable holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to West Seventh! The location is great and the neighborhood is a gem. Mike, the host, is super responsive and proactively checked in with us to ensure our stay was smooth. We would definitely return - hopefully in the summer months next time, though! Thanks for a great stay!

My three sisters and I were meeting in MN to go to the Renaissance fair. We wanted a beautiful home base so that we could relax, visit and rest while seeing the sites. We couldn’t have found a better house to stay in. The West 7th street house is very spacious, bright and clean. We were welcomed with wine, chocolates and flowers in the dining room and coffee, creamer and biscotti in the kitchen. We each had our own very comfortable beds with towels and toiletries displayed so nicely. The wrap around porch and yard are beautiful and we really enjoyed walking around the park. What a lovely neighborhood. It was everything we expected and more. Mike was very attentive with our needs and questions. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights with our 3 college-age kids. Everything was wonderful. It is a really cool, historic property with amazing modern interior. Nice location, easy access to everything in the twin cities. Would stay again.

Beautiful home on the park
We absolutely loved our stay in Mike’s home. The home was beautiful, with an amazing porch, outdoor table, and on the most beautiful park. Mile was incredibly responsive and accommodating. This home was also walking distance to restaurants which added to the wonderful experience. We would absolutely love to stay in Mike’s property again! He even shipped us something we forgot after we left!

Wonderful Hidden Gem
The area is located within walking distance to the popular 7th Street activities but is in a quiet secluded neighborhood with a beautiful park in the middle. I have been staying in area at least twice a year for four years. Wish I had found this place sooner. The owners communication and assistance to all our needs was impeccable.
