Getting here by car is very straightforward, we are the next village to Skipton on the A65 and have ample off road parking next to the house for 2 cars with extra parking available on request.
If you fancy leaving the car and coming by train then Gargrave train station (part of the Settle to Carlisle line) is just 10 mins walk away and the journey is less than an hour from Leeds (even London is only about 3.5 hours away !).
You can even get to Gargrave by boat on the Leeds and Liverpool canal (5 mins walk from our house) and the towpath is great for a nice easy walk to East Marton or Skipton.
For the more adventurous the Pennine Way is only 100 yards from the house and we are between East Marton (3.2 m) and Malham Cove (6.5m).
Lastly you could even fly (some of the way) as Leeds Bradford airport is less than an hour away.

Our small family group (all over 65s) had a short break in this lovely property to celebrate the life and share happy memories of a recently departed loved-one. We had spent many wonderful holidays together in this part of the Dales. We chose The Little Dairy Stables because the description ticked all our boxes for location, comfort and character. We weren’t disappointed- it was just perfect for us. Alison responded quickly to our various questions and gave us a lot of helpful additional information. She was there to greet us on arrival and show us round - the perfect host! The en-suite bedrooms were beautifully furnished and comfortable. (The outdoor bath tub is a must for a soak on a warm evening!). We hope to return before long.

We loved our stay and found Allison and her husband most responsive and helpful with any questions we had. My only wish, if we are lucky enough to come again, would be for a better internet connection but that wouldn't keep me from returning. Allison has created a beautiful and comfortable home away from home that is amazingly well equipped.
