The decor, the location and the facilities were great.
There was unfortunately a poo still in the toilet and the towels did not smell clean :(

I thoroughly enjoyed my night at the Tenerife Art Hostel. I've stayed in many hostels over the years and this was one of the better experiences I've had. The hostel is a short walk from the ferry port (up a steep hill!). I had a late-ish check-in and was greeted at the front desk by a friendly young Italian person who was incredibly helpful and showed me around.
The kitchen was nice. I didn't cook any large meals but it appeared to have everything you'd need, as well as offering places for people to store food/drink on the shelves and in the fridge. Coffee, tea and sugar was available.
The bathroom was clean and the shower I had was fantastic, with each press of the button allowing plenty of time for a good soaking.
The room (8-bed mixed dorm room) was great, with a handy and commodious locker under each bunk. I was on the top bunk and the bed was very comfortable and came with a plug socket. A little shelf for personal items would have been great, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. I had no issues with noise from the restaurant (in fact, I didn't even hear it), however road noise was noticeable but it didn't keep me awake.
I must have lucked out because my fellow guests were very pleasant and respectful with noise, with no one making noise past 11pm. Volunteers slept on site and provided phone numbers if I had any problems, which was reassuring.
The price was superb, I'd even go as far as to say it was a bargain. I was staying for one night prior to hiking the GR131 but I would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely book again next time I visit Tenerife.

Lit confortable mais pas pratique l accès au lit du haut et uniquement le bas intime
Salle de bain trop commune pire qu'un hall de gare

La limpieza, el personal de una amabilidad inolvidable y el estilo del hostel
It wasn’t very social

Friendly and helpful staff. Towels included. Several showers and toilets so no line to use. Curtain for privacy at the bed. Nice rooftop terrace. Kitchen well organised. Close to large park and restaurant area. Nice surroundings.
Room towards street with a lot of traffic so noisy.

The staff were welcoming. I arrived a few hours before check-in & they let me leave my bag at reception until check-in opened. You are assigned a lockable drawer underneath your bunk operated by a €1 piece so you don’t need to bring your own padlock. There is a communal area on the rooftop terrace although you can’t see that much. There is a supermarket (Supercor Express) which is handy for picking up groceries. The García Sanabria Park is a short walk away.
The dormitory I stayed in faced the street. Noise from a nearby bar entered the room (it was Friday night). Remember to bring shower gel as there is none in the showers.

Really liked the Italian owner. Was friendly and welcoming and bought croissants from the bakery on the first day. Room was big. Was in the upper bunk and had plenty of headspace. Small balcony in the room. Roof terrace was great for socialising. Kitchen was big and had plenty of resources
Bed was a little uncomfortable. Shower was a bit dirty at times (though these are minor things).

The staff was really nice! They allow us to leave the bags there and then shower at the return.

As ever this is a lovely place, with charming rooms, nice people, and a kitchen and terrace you want to hang out on. The double room is lovely, large and with balcony. Cafes, transport, and pretty parks/architecture nearby. Overall, great!
It's a little noisy due to traffic and the restaurant below, but no problem if you're a sound sleeper.

One of the most well-thought hostels I've seen in my life. The rooms are very comfortable, not overcrowded, nicely equipped with a sofa to chill, with all the necessary things. The right amount of exceptionally clean toilets and showers with all the kind of toiletries shared. The most well-equipped kitchen ever: all the dishes, pods, machinery you'd need (even if you plan a Christmas dinner) - you will find here. And really perfectly organized in terms of the space for your own food. It this is not enough, a very interesting design and a perfect location is included too.
What i lacked was a bit of more socialization - some common events being organized, maybe a breakfast at the same time.. but to have a good rest it was just a perfect place.
Could be a slight bit more social. And they are also very bad with WhatsApp responding timein case anything is needed (takes days).

The hostel is clean, colorful, well maintained and very pleasant. Wooden floors! Not very big, just 3 rooms (2x4 people and 1x bigger). I liked the nice, big and clean kitchen with everything you need, and eating space. Coffee, tee and some basic stuff is provided. The bathroom is spacious, and there is a lot of space where you can put your stuff while showering. The terrace on the roof withe leisure facilities is lovely! In a very nice area in the town! Lots of cafes, restaurants and the pedestrian zone just around there. Nice host!! Super price!
The upper bunk beds could have some curtains to give more privacy and darkness (the lower have). May be a bit noisy - there is a restaurant just next to the hostel. A small shelf to put your cosmetics under the shower would be useful.

Loved how open everything was, no keys, doors open, but still felt safe with the lockers. Chatty roommates and a good athmosphere in the hostel. Kitchen well equipped and the rooftop was just lovely!
No towels and the bedsheets were provided in a plastic bag, so we could change that to reduce plastic use ;)

I liked the location, and the staff was very friendly. It is easy to take the bus to Agana Park. Also, it is easy to take the Ferry to Grand Canarias, the Ferry includes the bus to go to Las Palmas in Grand Canarias.
I think the price was a bit high for the quality of the hostel. I know the price was more in February because of Carnival, but the hostel has to be better for that price ($40 per night). For example, the windows are very old, you can hear the noise from outside.

Great facilities and amenities, nice terrace. Close to the city with a super market next door. Staff was very nice and friendly.
