I love it here! Cool historic building in a great location to explore Salem, we had a free bottle of bubbly in our room when we arrived which was a lovely touch.

I was very pleased by the size of our room. Very comfortable and clean with all amenities required. Perfect location - short walking distance to the tourist sites.

We loved our stay at Salem Inn as the room was lovely, staff was helpful and the location was awesome. Our one and only issue was the extremely soft mattress which was not good for our back issues.

Great stay with 2 kids. Easily accessible to all sights

We stayed one night before returning home and spent the afternoon walking around historic Salem. Check-in was easy. We emailed earlier in the day to ask if we could park in their parking lot as we were arriving quite early in the afternoon and it was no problem. The room was clean and large with a king sized bed and a great shower. Breakfast was included and was very good. The kitchen service fellas were very pleasant.

Worth the price! Location is perfect, includes breakfast and it’s pet friendly. If you want to experience Salem, this is the place to stay as all the “must to see” places are walking distance.

Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Felt like I was at home and could walk everywhere. There is a driveway on the side where you can park to check in and get your luggage out of the car and if there is not a spot out front the parking lot is just around the corner. There is a dumb waiter for your luggage which wa convenient because we were on the 4th floor. The winding staircases gave it charm. There is also a decanter of wine with little glasses you can help yourself to in the main entrance. Had a great time. Thank you.

I rested this property simply bc of value. For a bed and breakfast for 1 night was $300 so I expected amazing food and a spectacular room. The breakfast as no better than a continental breakfast at a super 8 and pillows weren’t comfortable nor the linens. It was a good location to the downtown area and the staff were very friendly, but the stay itself was way overpriced. The parking was also offsite unless you were lucky to find a space in front.

Good location for our stay. Parking and breakfast were included. Historical building.

So friendly! Our room was ready early. The room was spacious with large windows and a very nice bathroom and shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was very clean. Very centrally located. We could walk to everything. Nice breakfast parking is very close. Cute courtyard. The only suggestion I would make would be to update to smart TVs. Not much to watch when relaxing after a long day of walking.

We loved the communication from the property manager about scheduling breakfast times and housekeeping options. Also, we locked ourselves out one evening and the manager was there within minutes to help us get in. She went over and beyond to help us which made our stay even more memorable!

Room was clean and cool with A/C. Breakfast was amazing. Best hotel for being right on Essex Street to walk around. Lucked out with a parking spot right out front. They even let us check in early. The frequent text communication is something other businesses should do. They kept in touch, which is so nice but it wasn’t intrusive. What a place!

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the process. The property was a beautiful historic home in the heart of Old Salem with all its charm. The breakfast was well-prepared in a clean setting, parking was easy, and they made excellent dining recommendations. I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy it.

The shower was was lovely. Enjoyed the kids & parents having their own rooms. It is a historic building so keep that in mind it’s not a brand new hotel. We were able to charge our electric car on site.

Lovely historical property in fun/funky Salem. We stayed in a 4th floor walk up family room. We loved our stay and would have appreciated two things:
An elevator (there is a luggage dumbwaiter)
A full bfast (you could only choose one item, so we could have an omelette, but not with toast—or we could have an English muffin, but not with egg).

beautiful historic building very close to tourist sites, shopping, and restaurants. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very nice. Parking on street in front of hotel can be difficult to find, but hotel offers uncovered parking about 3 blocks away

Great location for Salem witch city. Room very clean and ready to move in. Small kitchen was perfect. Only down side, no elevator when you are on the 4th floor. There is a dumb waiter for luggage.

Perfect location. Everyplace is walkable. Free parking was a couple of blocks away, but not too far. They were great at communicating about changes to front door key pad, the included breakfast (pre-order and time reservation required), check in and check out process. Reasonable rate. Staff were super nice. Lovely room. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Curwen house location, absolutely incredible stay. The common areas of the house were a lovely surprise and provided a home away from home feeling. The location was great too, central to everything and safe and quiet at night. Will be staying again!

We stayed here for a couple days with our toddler son. The staff was very helpful and communicative.

Room we stayed in was on the third floor. Low ceilings, dated furniture and came with curtains that did nothing to block the 500 AM sun rise.
Breakfast was a surprisingly bad and with a limited selection. You're given a 5 minute window to be arrive despite the place being empty

Only thing i didn't like was the text check in and breakfast text booking as i had no text due to overseas phone with wifi only.

I love the property. It was beautiful. It was exactly what we were looking for. I do have to say if you stay there be prepared because we were on the fourth floor and there are no elevators, but that’s the Charm about that B&B But guess what? I made it up and down the stairs, beautiful property and I want to think everyone now.

Room and hotel location excellent. Breakfast very disappointing- it is not a buffet, you are asked to indicate your selections the day before and they were very rigid about requests, for example they were unwilling to give me egg whites instead of whole eggs, and service took a long time (30 minutes to get a bowl of oatmeal).Service staff at breakfast friendly but they really need to reconsider how they do it; even having fruit, breads and coffee buffet style would help. And for heaven's sake go buy a package of herbal tea !

This is a BnB in historic homes, each room is different. Our room was quaint, spacious, clean and quiet. We had a bay window, fireplace and canopy bed. The bath had a relaxing whirlpool tub. The location of this hotel is great.
You can park your car in the provided parking lot and walk to most all the sights and restaurants. The staff was helpful. The breakfast portion of the BnB needs an upgrade-I felt the food was the same as buffet breakfast food you receive at a moderate hotel chain, only they served it to you on plates.

My son and I had a wonderful stay here! The room was perfect for doing family history research with the dining table and couch to work on. The location is perfect and within walking distance to all of the main attractions of Salem. Our room was very comfortable with a day bed in the living area for sleeping and a large bed in the bedroom. The kitchenette was great for early morning coffees and small meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again 😊

Our stay at the Salem Inn was absolutely wonderful! we stayed for 3 days/2 nights and everything was so convenient. The contactless check in was awesome - much easier than big name hotels I have stayed with. We easily received an email with both the front door code and the code to our room and never had issues with either. The staff was in touch often via text to check if we needed anything or if we would be having breakfast there.
Hands down, a great, historic inn with a super convenient location. Easy to walk around downtown and right across from the Witch House! We'll be back for sure!

Can’t beat the location and proximity to shopping district. Very friendly, helpful staff. Forgot my pillow but we swung back by and they had it set aside. The only downside was our room faced the street on the 1st floor and the traffic never seemed to stop.

Convenient location. Easy check in. Loved the finches in the lobby. We looked forward to hearing them each time we walked in. Easy communication with the front via text. Respectful and helpful employees. Breakfast menu is extremely limited but I still enjoyed each thing I got and I’m a very picky eater.
