I pre-checked in online and forewarned reception staff via online checkin that I was part of a large group who would check in after 2300. My (and others) room key was not pre-prepared, so had to wait in the long line with the 30+ others in our group to check in via the one only reception guy who was lovely and did a great job

This is a no frills hotel. What I like about it is its proximity to the bus stop and tourist attractions. There are many restaurants nearby also. It does not have air conditioner in the room, but windows can be opened for those times that temp goes above 70 deg F. Breakfast spread was great with many varieties of food. Overall, I recommend this place for its convenience.

Room is clean and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Big delicious breakfast buffer spread. Lobby is nice and cozy with coffee and tea. Totally recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a hotel conveniently located in the city center. The staff were friendly and check in was quick. Staff could help with different tasks such as printing off your boarding pass etc. The breakfast was marvellous, so much choice in food and drink, and also gluten free and other allergenic options which is great! Room was clean and tidy. I felt safe there visiting as a single female traveller. Suggestions for improvements: Get a peep hole installed in the hotel room doors and a chain as well. You have no way of knowing who is at the door when someone knocks without actually opening the door to them. Maybe some information in the room about how to contact reception? It could be good to have a kettle and a fridge in the room. When you make a packed lunch for people who are missing breakfast, some more flair and variety would be nice, especially given how nice the hotel breakfast is compared to what you receive.

Hotel is a great base to stay if you are exploring the city of for business. Main bus route next to the hotel and a taxi is always close by. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but does a really good breakfast and loads of places to eat within a few mins walk.

Staff could not have been more helpful with necessary information regarding public transportation and parking garage. Staff even tried to book room at another hotel for us closer to airport. We ended up coming back our last night. They stored our luggage in their baggage room during our side trip to Tromso. They really catered to our needs.

The hotel was a little bit run down, some of the equipment was quite old (the elevator, shower and toilet in the room). The staff was however great , helpfull and the breakfast buffet good.

Great breakfast even during Corona times. Other hotels in town have opted for much cheaper solutions. Room was clean - the matress below standards though and some noise from a central fan in the yard when windows were open. Would stay again but upgrade room.Nice view of the street from breakfast area.

Stayed at this hotel for 12 days. At check in I told the receptionist that I would be staying for a long while and if I could pretty please not get the worst room. I guess she took it as a challange and gave me room 308. The room was overlooking directly another residence from the back.There is no ventilation whatsoever. So either suffocate or freeze to death. There were no outlets anywhere close to the bed and that of course made charging my phone a frustrating affair. The shower had the temperature choice between extremely hot or flowing lava!Even on the absolute coldest setting it was unbearable. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was that the sheet on the bed had several huge holes. How someone doesnt notice that when they do the bed is beyond me. Breakfast was very lacking as well. The only positive I can say about the hotel is the placement of it. Somehow this hotel is advertised on this site as a 4*. It doesnt even deserve 3. Altho it does charge 4* prices. I was never given the option to change room. I was never given an explanation. Having spent 30k NOK for 2 rooms at the hotel I feel like I was owed at least that.

Very expensive for what I would describe as no better than a 1990’s backpacker’s hostel. It’s close to the CBD but way too expensive for what you get. Tea coffee only available downstairs. Mattresses only 10cm thick on a fold away style bed.

I booked this hotel through EXPEDIA, and at the time, there is a Strike by Norwegian Hotel workers, and when I arrived at the hotel, and tried to enter the hotel, it was closed. So I had to find another hotel. Expedia, should have notified me of this and made an alternative arrangement, or at least warned me that this might happen. As yet I do not know if i have been refunded or not. Bad customer service from both the Hotel and Expedia.
