The lobby was amazing. The staff was great. The floors were quite dirty. There were sequins on the floor clearly from an event. When we got to the room though, there was a tear in the arm of the chair, an animal had clearly chewed it on the trim, there was a significant gap between the shower head ring and the wall where you could see behind the tile, and the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling.

This is our go to when we are in town for Horse Sales. Rooms are very spacious. Has good bar/restaurant. Good location as well. Little run down for sure and could use some updating but we like the hotel.

Our stay was good. The bathroom in our suite needs a good cleaning along the base and in the corners of the room. I was not told ahead of time that there is a charge to park on the property. Really? That charge was removed. Also, the bar overcharges for drinks. The hot breakfast buffet has good offerings but it would be nice if the hot food stayed hot.

The property is dated and needs major refresh. It is definitely not worth the price. The beds are doubles, not queens and the bathroom is too small for a suite room. The most insulting part though is that they charge for parking and the hotel is in the suburbs with a large surface parking lot. If they want to gouge customers, they should just put the charge in the room rate.

I reserved this hotel because most of my friends were staying there for the book signing event. I arrived a little sooner and the receptionist lady told me that I have to wait till 3pm to get to my room and charged my card 75$ (if I break something, there was nothing to beak accept for 2 cups I never used.) The breakfast was awful with burned waffles and no fruits if you came little late. The chef who was making the eggs was touching the eggs with his hands and I got disgusted and never ate breakfasts again. No water in the rooms even though the room has a mini kitchenet, there was no utensils or plates.

This hotel could use a thorough cleaning and some updating. The service was ok. We appreciated the free breakfast, although the food could be better. We enjoyed the free happy hour reception. The bed wasn't the most comfortable. The room stayed nice and dark so we could sleep in. The personal care products provided weren't very good quality. I always appreciate makeup wipes though! The hotel is a decent location, not too far from the UK campus.

We were last minute booking a stay in Lexington, Kentucky. This property came up with a decent price in the vicinity of my husband's appointment the next day. Little did we know until we were almost there, we had stayed at the hotel 16 years before. my husband had served in Iraq and upon coming home his unit offered a marriage retreat weekend, and covered the hotel, which was Embassy suites! It was a nice evening of reminiscing about that weekend where we both feel is when we were able to begin reconnecting after that long deployment . we walked through the lobby around the beautiful fountain among all of their plants enjoyed the soft music and the sound of the fountain. The price is a little steep for a one night stay, but in comparison to other hotels close by, it's comparable. The bed was soft with good pillows. The shower was awesome and very clean. The suite was a good size and the buffet breakfast in the morning was Delicious.

They charge you $15 to park when there is literally no other place to park in the area and get to the hotel safely. So those “complementary” drinks are actually $7.50 each. I’d rather just not pay for parking 🙄

Our room smelled a little like smoke. We were there for only one night so we didn’t complain about it. More importantly, they charge $75 for a service dog where as the Marriott across the street does not charge for service pets at all

We reserved a king size suite. We were given two full or queen size suite. There was also a dirty plate and silverware outside our door when we arrived and it stayed there throughout our stay. The air conditioning in our room wasn’t working good. It stay 72 degrees the entire time although the air was set to 65. I have stayed at several Embassy Suites and have always had a good experience. I love the atmosphere and the food offered. Overall the stay was fine but small things add up.

Exterior of property is pristine. The hotel room was in need of repairs. Rugs were stained. Walls and doors were dirty. The bathroom ceiling plaster is falling off in shower. The restaurant dinner food is way overpriced for the quality of food. The saving grace was the breakfast. It was good and well managed.

The first room we were given, looked ok superficially until we pulled the bedspread and top sheet back. Then saw brown stains on the bedsheet on one side and a white stain on the other side of the bed. I called the front desk who said they would bring new sheets up for me to change them, or give us a different room. In room 2 the bed was clean however the shower never produced more than a trickle. Not what I would have expected from a hotel as pretty as the lobby and outside appears. Disappointing.

The rooms are starting to get a bit dated. There were patches and large blemishes in the walls of our suite. The bathroom had empty picture- hanging hooks on the wall where there obviously used to be wall hangings. Nice to have two TV's but only had access to cable- no streaming, "smart" TV or other options. The indoor pool is nice but needs better ventilation. I love Embassy Suites overall and this was no exception with a clean and welcoming entry, very pleasant feel, and especially the evening happy hour and made- to order omelets. It keeps me coming back.
