a very vibrant colourful miixed cultral city.Hotel old, but is upgrading with more modern looks and equipment, very helpful reception.Good location central rail station very close.
4.3
I chose this hotel for location: less than 5-minute walk from the central station and main touristic spots. However, because of that, noise reached the room(4F) until quite late night. It was a bit annoying but I wasn't too sensitive about that, but if sensitive, this hotel may not be a good choice.
The facilities, especially in the bathroom, were old style, but there were usb ports so that offsets other shortcomings.
Being environmentally-friendly, they offer a free drink coupon for choosing not to clean the room everyday. I enjoyed that service as I prefer not to be disrupted everyday.
Overall, good for the price.
4.3
I’ve chosen the hotel because of nice location, close to the Grand Place and other sights and good restaurants. The window view was great, indeed.
The hotel itself is not spectacular due to the rooms requiring attention (aka renovation). Even if the bathroom looks clean, all metallic handles and taps are scratched. I got the room changed due to annoying ventilation noise, but the second option was not better - with bad drainage in shower/sink which was not fixed during my stay. Also the iron and the board are old and not functional, which is super important for travelers on a business trip.

great location. lovely room. excellent breakfast. very friendly and helpful staff. close to laundromat.
4.3
Great location. Hotel staff absolutely brilliant, I interacted with a number of them, and they were all great. Corridors to the rooms are a little dated, but room itself was great. Room 610 had an absolutely incredible view, we were able to open the window in the evening and listen to the buzz of the square below! Great hotel all round. We had a 5 year old child with us, absolutely great for him too.
4.3
Nice hotel in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay overall.
We would have liked bottled water to be provided throughout our stay. We we given 2 bottles on the first day. The pillows on the bed were uncomfortable.
There should be window restrictions on the window for safety reasons.
4.3
Hotel is in an amazing location, central to everything in town and to the central train station. The only issue with the room was the AC was not working properly. Staff was very helpful and accommodating and brought up a fan to the room.
4.3
Nice hard product hotel, excellent location.
4.3
Elevator is a bit old, but others are ok.
4.3
Amazing breakfast. Very nice hotel.
4.3
Location is excellent. Close to train station, tourist attractions, lots of restaurants but it's quiet! The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. It's above my expectations.
4.3
Wonderful hotel with friendly staff members
4.3
NH Brussels is centrally located, minutes from the train station and minutes from the Grand Place and the surrounding streets that offer numerous dining and site seeing opportunities. The hotel itself is comfortable; the staff is very friendly and helpful; the breakfast was varied, plentiful, and well presented. The rooms are more than adequate, although one negative is in the bathrooms. They are obviously refurbrished (I would guess recently), but the bathtub is problematic. It is unusually high without any grab bars. There is also an immovable glass partition that doesn't help. Seems to me a situation waiting for an accident.
4.3
Excellent location, could not be better if you want to stay close to the center in Brussels. Having lived there in the past, I could vouch for that. Trains station is next door, and Grand Place is only a few blocks away.
4.3
The property staff were super helpful during my stay and even let me check in early!
The location was wonderful and super central from all the tourist sites.
4.3
good location,
heater good and strong
hair dryer goos and strong
room door looks very old,
no international chargers plug or USB plug on the walls
4.3
Location, staff and breakfast was great, however we we’re puzzled as to how this hotel could ever have gained 4 stars. Everything is in a poor condition, the balcony door in our room didn’t close properly, leaving the room drafty (in January!). Staff was nice and offered us to change rooms, which we should have accepted, however our plans didn’t leave time for it. A portable owen was placed in the room, so we could keep warm, as the door couldn’t be fixed!
4.3
When I arrived at the hotel to check in, the staff indicated me that due to an issue with the rooms they had to relocate me to another NH (6 mins walk away). Even though they included breakfast and supposedly upgraded me (which did not seem true because it was a twin bed room with a very odd bathroom setup. I originally had booked for a double bed room), it was quite inconvenient because it was farther from the place I had business meetings. Moreover, the location of the switch hotel was farther from the main city centre.
4.3
Located in the central area of the city. Nice staffs.

Expedia should not post and mislead the customers this is a 4-star hotel. Expedia should move the incorrect pictures on your website.
We did not stay in this hotel. We called Expedia for help but nothing Expedia could do. We had to pay the hotel in full even though we did no stay in. We had to move another hotel and paif for the extra expense.
4.3
Perfect location from central square. Nice breakfast buffet with hot food items too. Beds could be a little softer and the carpet needs an upgrade. But otherwise can’t complain!
4.3
Celina at the front desk was excellent. She was helpful and took great care of us.
4.3
Pretty poor standard hotel , just run down and marka on carpet and worm furniture.
I was moved 3 times as the electricity cut out in my room
I wasn’t angry just felt sorry for the hotel
4.3
This hotel is badly in need of a makeover, my room had a broken heater and the night clerk offered a fan.
4.3
Excelent location but hotel facilities needs to be improved. Old stinky carpets and furnish needs replacement.
4.3
Hotel right by the main squares. Room offered great view. Room was a bit on the small side. But the location was unbeatable.
4.3
Great location but poorly maintained hotel. We switch on the AC on the first night and it blew the fuses on the whole floor. The night manager recorded the fault but we heard nothing in response other than there were no alternative rooms some would have to live with it.
4.3
Great location, just steps from Brussels Central Station and the Grand Place. Perfect for sightseeing, restaurants, etc. The hotel is not the most modern but it is comfortable and the staff was very helpful. It can be a bit noisy due to the proximity to restaurants and nightlife. I would stay there again.
4.3
Wonderful weekend stay at NH Carrefour de l'Europe. Beautiful accommodation, bedroom and sitting parlour, with balcony and outdoor seating overlooking one of the small squares off of Grand Place. Spent endless hours listening to the guitarists and saxophonists playing music on the square, as well as watching the craft market and dining scene below. Interspersed with sightseeing and shopping, we were able to pop in and out of the hotel and main tourist sites with ease. A good break from the rain and cobblestones for tired aching feet. An easy walk from some of the nearby churches and the Central train station. Breakfast was wonderful, hearty and ample, with typical Belgian treats - waffles, fruit pie, cake. Loved the expresso/cappuccino and gummy bears in the foyer. Massive thanks and commendation to Abraham for his professionalism and truly exceptional service. His warm welcome, hospitality and helpful advice actually prompted us to extend our stay and cancel the reservation we had at another establishment in the neighbourhood. We've been to Brussels many times before (in hotels like the Steigenberger on Avenue Louise), but never enjoyed it this much. Much appreciation to Abraham and the NH team, your kindness and effervescence made all the difference for a fun and memorable visit.
4.3
Great location but can be noisy at night as it is located in the heart of Brussels, few minutes from Grand Place. Staff is not so friendly and helpful. Room is a bit old and renovation needed. A bit too expensive for so-so or even bad experience.
4.3
The AC in our first room dripped condensation causing a large puddle. However they graciously moved us to another room (a suite). The hotel is located right at the top of all the action. I’d stay there again.
4.3
This hotel needs some TLC.
4.3
excelent place very convinient, 3 min from the metro and all the restaurants
4.3
The location is perfect, you have everything: restaurants, metro station, shopping, museums, etc. hotel was cleaned and also had AC, which is very important for us.
The only thing, the room was a little dark, some lights weren’t working properly, i had to open the windows.
4.3
The location is phenomenal! We had a room with a view and thoroughly enjoyed talking in the views and atmosphere from our window.
The train station, Royal Plaza and other attractions are all just steps away.
The staff was friendly and helpful and when you skip room service everyone in the room gets a free drink. What a cool idea :-)
The bed was comfortable, room and bathroom practical but could use some updates. All was clean though.
4.3
First day, Air conditioner was not working. Third day, wifi is not working partially.
4.3
The property is perfect!
4.3
This hotel needs total makeover. Really worn out and not up to the price they ask. Smell was awful and the room was dark and worn.
Breakfast was ok. But again you expect more for the money.
4.3
The hotel is a firm 3-star, furniture dated, walls with ugly paint, carpets needing serious replacing, but it is so well located and well priced that you could hardly find a better one. I’d definitely go for it next time.
